Mel did an amazing job with color matching my bumper. Even using the paint code to the car, it came out darker. They did not hesitate to make it right and re paint it. It came out way better than my expectations. Talk about amazing customer service. Great pricing. And great quality. This is your place to go. This is the best experience I ve ever had at an auto body shop. They were able to get me in for a same day estimate and were able to get my truck fixed just a couple days later. There were scratches and dents that I needed repaired and they did a perfect job, it looks brand new. The owner, Mel, is one of the nicest people I ve ever met and gave me updates the whole time they were working on the car.They offered very fair pricing for the job compared to the numerous other body shops in the area that I called before them. Had an absolutely amazing experience with this business, Mel and everybody at action Auto did a phenomenal job helping me get rid of a an annoying door dent. Not only did they knock the job out same day but stayed late to make sure the job was done right and they did it for a fair and affordable rate, far less than anyone else had quoted me. I also had an awesome conversation with Mel's son who like me is a veteran. It was awesome catching up with a veteran brother! Awesome conversation that made you feel welcome! Most shops I called were booked until the Fall, but AAA Action Auto Body was able to get my car in the next day and repaired within a week. Mel and his team were very courteous and professional. I highly recommend them!

I was in an accident on 5/5 and it really threw everything off track for me. I called every auto body shop in Charleston. Every shop gave me a time frame of August-September to be able to fix my car. I immediately panicked, I kept searching. All of a sudden AAA auto body shop populated. I spoke to the mechanic and he told me to bring my car in so he can look at it. I brought my car in on 5/15 and I just picked up my car on 6/7. This was the BEST service EVER!! The manager was extremely nice and helpful and it did not take long for my car to be fixed. If it wasn't for AAA auto body my car would still be damaged and sitting in one spot. THANK YOU so much for your service!!!!

I highly recommend this place!I accidentally drove my car into the garage door and had ripped the rear spoiler off. I looked around for body shops near work and found Action Auto Body. I called and they told me to bring the car in the same day for an inspection. They were amazing! Mr. Mel examined my car and got the parts ordered immediately. They parts came within 4 days and within 6 days my car was fully repaired. Their business is extremely warm and welcoming, and they really go above and beyond. Maria, the receptionist, was lovely, and the another guy who works there was extremely sweet and even washed my car for me! I was pleasantly surprised with their service, and could not recommend them more.

Mr. Mel is a down to earth, professional and quality person. I called him last minute for an estimate; it was super close to his after hours, but he still waited until I got there (my car overheated twice on the way there.) But he stayed true to his word and was happy to receive me, nonetheless. Being on a relative budget, I had inquired if he could overlook some issues, but he was never interested in that concept because he said Safety First! He also worked on my estimate and called me the very next morning. He had also been in the military previously for many years, which I appreciated. He was insightful, answered a lot of my questions, and gave me a lot of useful advice despite whether I was going to work with him or not. Quality man with a quality business that is true to their word and can provide actual results. Highly recommend. God Bless you, Mr. Mel and thank you for your service<3

They repaired the holding brackets on one of the fog lights in my car and were able to mount the light back in place after it had previously been knocked out of place. I did not have to buy a new light, nor did I have to wait for any extra parts to come in. They did a wonderful job, and provided amazing customer service. I have been bring my vehicles here for over 20 years, and they have always provided quality work at a reasonable price.Service: Body & Trim

In case you need some body work done, you can't go wrong with Mel & his team! They worked miracles, gave me a deal & made me a priority bc they knew I, "needed to get back on the road ASP."Excellent service, communication, and estimating. The work was fast and top notch! I got rear ended and the adjuster made me find a body shop. All other places were not willing to even give me an estimate, thankfully I was blessed to find mels place! he went above and beyond with getting me the best prices of the parts and working with the insurance company for me. I took my "new" car in for some damage received in an accident. I chose Mr. Mel because of the experience my sister shared about her "visit" to AAA Action. She accidentally dented our other sister's car when she backed it into the garage door. She told me Mr. Mel and his son, looked at it, gave her a great quote and fixed it three days later. She said they did a great job and treated her like family. I relied on her experience and I wasn't disappointed. My car looks brand new again. I'm hoping we won't continue to be repeat customers for AAA Action but if we are, I'm sure that any new visit will be as good as our last visit. Thank you Mr. Mel!

Being a visitor from Louisiana, and experiencing several not so good attitudes from different shops I've reached out to, Mr Mel by far was the most pleasant of them all. I was browsing the web and found this shop. I called and Mr. Mel told me to come in. I explained to him it was insurance related, he asked that I called the insurance company to see if he was in network with them. Unfortunately he wasn't. However, from the kindness of his heart, he still helped me. A very kind gentleman. He met me where my car was and gave me a fair estimate. He met the deadline and estimate he gave me. He answered the phone when I called him to ask questions about the status of my car. I checked the price I paid for the repair and it was definitely fair. Very informative. Shop is small but on point for great paints and body work. Other car issues can be done if you have Time. Must schedule for car to be fix, or stop in for a Estimate they'll take care of you.

I was referred to Mel by another body shop. I acquired the passenger side mirror myself through Amazon and brought it to Mel. He had it installed painted the same day. Excellent service!

I do not advise this businessThe owner is very rude. He obviously has knowledge of various insurance companies choosing not to deal with Allstate. My estimate from Allstate needed a re-estamate. The owner admitted not accepting the job, based on the claim needing a rewriten estimate; which repeatedly he stated he did not want to do. When I went retrieve my car the next day, the owner called my dealership, requesting they pick my vehicle up from AAA Action Auto as an Abandoned Car...and it was removed

We are traveling from up Massachusetts and AAA action auto body was able to fix our car quickly and easily!! They were extremely nice and made us feel welcomed, even offering to drive us back to our hotel! I highly recommend this shop :)
