I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. Took the car in to have a engine swap done. Shop provided all parts and new crate engine. I put down $5100 deposit in cash. Shop would only accept cash. Red flag. After a month and a half, the shop could not make it run. Car had to be towed to another shop to be completed. In the process. The shop stored the hood on top the car where it scratched both the hood and top of the car. The hood was then dropped on the rear quarter panel and then the ground. See pictures. Shop refused to pay for any of the damages. Refused to release the vehicle until they received the remainder of the original bill (another $3700). Finally agreed to release the vehicle to be towed to have engine finished and to have damages repaired. Total cost of repairs to Include engine rework and body work and paint was over $10k. See pictures. Owner refuses to answer or call back. Refuses to pay for any damages or the rework on yhe engine. Still wants the remained of the original bill. After further research, can not find proof of insurance, therefore I do not recommend you use this company.

Had been driving in the spare for way too long. Normal place was closed for renovations so I stopped here. Customer service was great! Mary was a joy. Had my valve stem replaced. The service was fast and looks great. Wonderful price as well. Will definitely be coming back!

I had a flat tire right before heading out on a 3 hour drive. This place was one of the only tire companies open and they were SO quick and efficient. A nail was found in my tire and they were able to patch it quickly and send me on my way. This is the only tire company I ll be using from now on!Service: TiresService: Tires

I found this shop through Google. I was traveling from out of town when I discovered a flat. They quickly put on my spare and advised me about driving with a doughnut. I wasn t aware of the speed limit (50mph) on a doughnut or the distance limit. They were so helpful and kind.Service: TiresService: Tires

Quick turnaround time & incredible service!Took my 2009 ford focus in to get the brakes looked at. I could feel something was off but I wasn t sure what. Champion Tires & Brakes had a look at the car & got it back to me feeling brand new!They were so helpful throughout the entire process. Mary called with the recommendations and price points before they did anything to the car. I'm a drive a lot for work and had a huge blowout right by champion. They took care of me quickly, respectfully, in a cost effective manner and they're open on sunday. Nobody likes unexpected car trouble but I will be back. Great experience. I wasn't even late for my next appointment.

100% recommend!! I had a nail in my tire and needed it fixed ASAP everywhere was closed. When I arrived here already past closing time I explained my situation to the GM Mo and without hesitation he had me pull around and fixed my tire half an hour after they were already closed. Super quick and friendly! We got to talk a bit and I learned Mo is very well experienced. If you have any car needs I recommend this place!Service: Tires

Didn t balance my tires correctly, had almost a pound of weight on one tire, told me my tires were bad, had them done at another shop, nothing at all wrong with the tires, balanced them fine, this shop cost me 110$ and took almost 2 hours, even though I was the only customer there, huge waste of my time and money and refuse a refund, would not recommend for anyone.

After calling a number of other tire places just to get a tire plug, with a wait time of over 2 or more hours - we called Champion Tires and Brakes. They told us to come on by as they would handle it for us before we made our seven hour journey back home. Sensing the desperation in our voices as we tried to come up with a tire solution to get us safely back home, the receptionist and mechanic went out of their way to ensure we could get the tire repaired and send us safely on our way. We were in and out in 20 minutes, and we are so appreciative of Champion Tires and Brakes kindness and sensitivity to our tire issue! Highly recommend!Service: Tires

I was visiting from out of state when my front tires began making a terrible noise. I stopped at a chain store - they wouldn't help me. I chose Champion Tires and Brakes simply for the proximity to my location. So thankful I did. Ollie was amazing. He explained the problem and worked quickly to get me back on the road. The price was fair and the service great! Don't let the looks of the building fool you - great folks are at work inside.

I cant recommend champion enough. Not only are they affordable but the mechanic paul really assured me and made me feel so safe. He went above and beyond to fix my wheel hub and made sure everything was good to go before I left. I wish there were more people like him in the mechanic business. They have my business for life. The sweet lady at the front was also very helpful and kind. All around the best experience ive had with getting something repaired on my car.Service: Tires

Well I had 4 different types of bolts holding on my old license plates when I stopped in and requested help. Glad I did! Southern Hospitality at its best! I was driving off with my new plate attached within 10 minutes! Thank you!

Excellent service! Brought my vehicle in with a serious brake problem and they not only got me in and out in one day but explained everything in detail and made me feel comfortable with my decisions. From the amazing customer service at the front to the mechanics in the back, I will definitely recommend Champion!

Highly recommend. I needed some routine maintenance done on my vehicle - oil change, new tires, spark plugs, etc. Mohammed took a look at my car and gave me a run down of what needed to be done and which was the most important. Didn t feel cars sales-y, but truly honest. I couldn t believe how affordable it was to get all of this done and in a VERY quick turnaround. My car is now running beautifully and I feel so happy that I have a trustworthy car guy in town. I will be back for all of my car needs! Thank you to Mohammed and the rest of the team!

Ms.Lisa was VERY helpful and catering to my needs. I called before I got there and she just said come on in we got you. I was greeted once I came in, she consulted with me about what did I want to do about the brakes I needed and handled my situation accordingly. Also, got me enrolled in a program that saved me $100 that day and got me 4 new tires I needed also. I am proud of the customer service I received from them especially Ms. Lisa and the prices are affordable to my needs. I will definitely be back!Thanks again Champion Tires !!

My best friend got a flat tire and had a nail in it. They close at 7 but we were able to call at 6:50 and they said they would stay open for us until we got there! They were able to patch her tire and stayed open past close. The man that helped us was so friendly and helpful! It was so quick and we are so thankful!

Got my brakes done at Champion today, they went above and beyond. Ive been going to Gerald's for years, won't go anywhere else now. Seriously great service and literally half the price I was quoted everywhere else! Very trustworthy, they took great care of me; told me about some things they noticed during my service and told me about how long before I had to get them worked on. Thanks guys, keep up the great work!

The team at Champion were very friendly, professional, and efficient. They had fair pricing and did an excellent job replacing and realigning all four of my tires. I would definitely recommend them for all of your tire, break, and car maintenance needs.

Horrible. Will take you for your money. They fixed my daughters car and we kept having to take it back. Forgot to tighten hoses and things. They said AC was great. 2 days and heat not cold air. Took it and said more parts needed. Should have done right. I left and a friend had a mechanic she knew. It was just freon. They just want money and do a horrible job. The lady at front is rude and unprofessional. Never trust them.

The best prices and the best service in town.If I can give them more than 5 stars I would. Very nice and extremely helpful people. I researched around and they gave me the best prices with really excellent used tires. On top of that, they spent a couple of hours to get my issue fixed without charging me any extra fees. Guys, I really thanks you and I really appreciate the business I had with you. I strongly recommend everyone to go there and have their service done their.

Very unprofessional, mechanic was very rude. Locked me inside the office not letting me leave. Snatches receipt of service I already paid for. They had someone who isn't a mechanic touch and work on my car. Not willing to resolve any issues. They did well on my heat and other things I needed and got it all done with no issues in a reasonable amount of time and reasonable price. I came back a second time. And they do detailing and just about every basic car need available from oil changes to brakes to electrical issues. I am not from Charleston and I plan on making them my Charleston auto center.
