My van unfortunately needed repair but thankfully I contacted Carolina Auto Repair! They were completely amazing with all aspects of service. Not only was the issue diagnosed quickly, but the repair was done the next day! They were also very helpful with helping me get where I needed to be. I can see why they have such good reviews. They were able to take my truck in the same day I called. Fixed it in a day and at a reasonable price. I will definitely be using them in the future if needed and recommending them to anyone I know who has car issues !

I highly recommend this repair shop! I took my Chevy S10 in with several issues going on. Problems were quickly diagnosed and communicated with me promptly. Frequent updates(with photos of damaged parts) were sent via text to me. It took only a couple of days to get me back on the road. Pricing was very fair considering the repairs that were needed. This place was great. I didn t know any mechanics in the area and was so glad I picked them. They towed my car and had it fixed right away. They were quick to pick up. Their price was very reasonable for all the work they did. Would definitely use them for all my auto repairs. They were professional and very friendly and easy to work with. Had an electrical issue with my car. Driving from Tennessee to Charleston. Dash lights on. Hardly ran. Was worried that being from out of state and desperate that I would be taken advantage of. Not the case at all. Had it towed to Carolina and within a few minutes they found a loose connector at the onboard computer. Plugged it in tightly and cleared the trouble codes. As good as new. They could have charged me for a costly repair but all I paid for was the tow and actually received a discount on that. Frank and his crew are a Great bunch of guys. Treated me as if we were lifelong friends, which now we are. Thanks a million. If I lived local I would use them for all my maintenance and repairsService: Electrical repair

Reasonable price. There is a drop box with camera you can drop it off the night before. Professional's and will not take advantage of you. Highly recommend it over big garages

I was totally impressed by their honesty and courteous service. Mine was a simple fix, but hard to pin point. They could have sold me an expensive part when it was a simple fix that took a service rep to find and fix with just a wrench. They made themselves a new customer. I go back where I am treated right and they were excellent! Service with a hand shake and a smile. The good old fashioned way, the right way!

Had a conflicted experience at Carolina Auto Repair. I was in the middle of a 6 hour drive and my check engine light came on and Carolina was the closest shop from where I stopped. The technician did a very quick job getting my airflow system fixed up and ready to go. I spent 500 dollars. I'm giving three star rating however due to the fact that I had to return to the shop the next day (during my return 6 hour drive) to fix the same problem again that apparently wasn't picked up on the first time. During which I was told that it would be one price (50 dollars), which I would just have to pay for the part and not the labor since my car issue wasn't fixed the first time around for the same issue. What was frustrating is that regardless of that, they had started service without my confirmation. The second service was equally quick and the issue was eventually fixed, but the agreed upon price was changed after the fact adding in labor (equaling out to 100 dollars). All told I spent more money then I was originally told as a result of a confusion of information between the owners. I paid without argument, but it was incredibly frustrating to be told one price and then see 50 dollars added on later for no complication reason AFTER the work had been done. It was the labor, which I get. You have to pay your guys. The work was good and the people there are great, and I would have paid the bill I ended up paying because of those positive factors. But if you offer me one number and then change it, after already having to return multiple times for a single issue? Even after I had already paid 500 dollars? It feels very sketchy. Hopefully my experience wasn't the norm.

I HAVE used them EVER SINCE the day the saved me a TON OF MONEY!!!! Another business was going to rob me blind so glad I got a 2nd opinion and now I use them for everyone of my family vehicles and have referred all my friends and family to use them. They fixed my power steering & AC issues for almost $1200 less than Fairway Ford in Evans was trying to charge me. My car works great now! The guys there were so nice & didn't try to trick me and into work that I didn't need. I'll definitely be going back to them when I need work done again!

What great people and great place!!! Took our Pontiac Vibe there. Told them how much I had to work with and they worked with me on it.They treated us great, fixed our car and smiled the entire time! I recently retired from teaching in Georgia and moved back to North Augusta when I noticed a lot of water in the floorboard of the driver s side of my Jeep. I took it by a couple of different repairs shops. No one wanted to bother with it. A couple of weeks ago, I started my Jeep to leave one morning and the windshield wipers were on and wouldn t turn off. My Jeep wouldn t go in gear.I decided to go on line to find a local repair shop that would work on Jeep. That s how I came across Carolina Auto Repair. I gave them a call and John told me to bring it in.I went. I told John all the problems I have had recently with my Jeep especially with the water. He listened and asked me to leave the Jeep with them for a few days to see if they could resolve these problems, especially with the water.Problems Solved!!! I am very satisfied with the courtesy, professionalism, and determination that Carolina Auto Repair showed me. The cost was extremely reasonable. John and Bill both went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. They genuinely care about their customers. I would highly recommend Carolina Auto Repair. Carolina Auto Repair will get all my auto business from now on. Thank you John and Bill!

Carolina Auto Repair is the BEST Auto Repair shop I have ever experienced! Frank and his team work above and beyond to get any job completed. No matter how small or big the job, I was satisfied! I have gone to this establishment for a restoration on a 75 Impala and to get standard work done on all my vehicles. I know I am going to get the most fair price and top notch service. I would recommend Carolina Auto to anyone that is looking for a wonderful and professional experience for their vehicle needs!!!

Great place to get your car repaired! John and Frank were extremely helpful and even provided me a ride to the shop when my car was done. Repairs only took a few hours and the price was low for what I was getting done. Go no where else to get your car fixed. They are awesome!

Unethical and Incompetent!!I own 4 vehicles, prior to today this establishment has worked on 3 of them, and customer and mechanical services were good....until yesterday. I brought one of my vehicles there for a diagnostic, I spoke with one of the managers named John...I've delt with John in the past and had no issues. I asked them to look at the car and call me back with what they discovered and we'll go from there. John told me he'd call in less than two weeks. Three weeks later, I received a call from Frank (one of the owners), and he tells me that he needs $1100 for parts that he purchased for the vehicle, and he needed to calculate labor too, because he had the mechanic install them. When I asked why didn't John call me? Frank replies he's on vacation.I never agreed to moving forward with any services other than diagnostic services. This establishment is attempting to get over on me. They've been in business for over 13 years and aren't accredited by the better business bureau...that resonates with me and it should with others!! I'm escalating this matter with my attorney!!! Save yourself the hastle of bad management and incompetence and shop elsewhere for your vehicle service needs!!!

These are genuine, honest people who really did an unbelievable job with my Civic. I was traveling , and almost all of the people I asked for an honest auto repair business said this was the place to go. Unfortunately, it was towed to another place. The difference in repair was $429, so I explained my situation and the management promised way less expensive repair. They even gave me free towing Their price versus the other place was actually more than $429 because of the unexpected discount I received. This was a true blessing because my wife and i are retired and victims of Hurricane. My Honda Civic is running so smooth and when I told them I was late for an Animal Rescue Seminar , the owner Mr Mishoe , not only made my vehicle a priority but gave me a 15 percent discount for my work with animals, and gave me a pocket Bible. This is the 1st business that I have seen that is not afraid to show their Christian values. God Bless Him and his entire family! I may live in North Carolina , but Carolina Auto Repair will be worth the drive. I thank them so very much, and hope Mr Mishie sees this as a small token of appreciation. - Dr Grover Babbitt

When my vehicle broke down on I-20, I knew it was something serious. Being new to the CSRA, I really didn't know where to turn. While I waited for a ride I looked up shops in the area. I came across Carolina Auto Repair, and spent some time reading reviews. John and has team have 5 stars for a reason. I trusted my gut instinct and called them up. They quickly got my car towed into the shop and gave me the bad news. Within hours John had found an engine and gave me an estimate. They quickly tore down the engine and within a week I had my car back on the road running better than ever. I have found my new repair shop. Thanks John and your crew, I look forward to many years of having your shop service my vehicles.

These guys are AMAZING!! John and Milton were able to work on my '88 Mustang and get the old girl running again. We had so much trouble trying to figure out what was wrong with the car but eventually they found the problem and now my car runs better than it has in years! Also, after completing repairs we had to replace the battery and John sent someone out to my house to give me a jump so I could get back to the shop to get the battery replaced. I am so thrilled to have found these guys and I will use them from now on and recommend them to everyone I know.

my 1994 toyota truck hasnt run rhis good in a long time after tune up.but it does now .could have charged me for plug wires but knew the ones on there were good..i have sent two other people there and they thanked me for it.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Beware!!! You might get a good deal as some people say they have or you might get cursed out!!I called and talked to a friendly man on the phone when I called to make an appointment. When I arrive to drop off my car, I am told there is no appointment and that the person who booked the appointment, Frank, does not know what he is doing. And no, they can't promise to work on my car today. When I tell him that I will take my car elsewhere he tells me not to come back. I wonder who p^%&ed in his cornflakes because this was 8am and not once did I raise my voice to him. I am glad that I did not spend any money at this establishment but good luck to you if you chose to do so.

I have taken many cars to Frank over the past 5 or 6 years. Everything from old trucks, nissan Z cars, to my BMW. He always does his honest best to do a good job for his customers. He recognizes that today's cars are very complicated, and sometimes there is not a simple or easy fix. However Carolina Auto repair, under his leadership is a top shelf repair facility, which strives to do the best it can for it's customers

He took time to explain everything in great detail about the problems going on with my vehicle. Answered all my questions so i could better understand what is going on. Never pressured me in choosing his shop and he even told me to shop around with other repair shops if i wanted to. Diagnosed my vehicle the same day i had it towed in. Fast service.

I give Carolina Auto Repair 5 Stars! They have mechanics that I put all trust in. I had them do work on my 2002 Ford Explorer. The C/V Axles were bad, after taking it to 2 other places they either wanted to over charge me or not do it at all. I came to Carolina Auto Repair and they were the most friendliness and reasonable. They did the job the same day. I have since sold my Explorer and bought a new 2016 VW Jetta. I'd rather bring my car here instead of the dealership.

I have been doing business with this company because of convenience. I had no problems until my first initial visit they stated that if I liked them on Facebook or went on google to write a review I would have a free oil change. The minute I return to get the free oil change they took me through the ringer to get it! Next, on my first initial visit they handed me a loyalty card and stated that after the 4th oil change the next one would be free. Well low and behold after my 4th oil change, returning with my card for the free oil change, I had the same response as the first time! I am not a person that don't give people second chances but this is ridiculous. People ask you to support local businesses but when you do this is what happens. Then they stated that I needed to bring the same car in that I initially brought the first time but no one stated that it had to be a specific car because when they initial the loyalty card it was on different vehicles. What a joke! If you want honest and loyal people you may want to bypass this business.I can not post another review for some reason but you responded to the wrong customer! I was very nice about the hassle of the free oil change. I even waited on the gentlemen to come and pick me up after their mishap on my then 2006 Audi. I am so sorry the this business will not take responsibility for their actions. I was not argumentative even on this vehicle, I just told him that I could use either regular or synthetic oil per dealership not me! I asked to use regular oil from the beginning because it would be on me if anything happened and I was well aware of that. Why it is so hard to do business with (family) who I thought the business represented as such! I will continue to pray for your business.
