Please be careful when using this body shop and my life lesson learned. They were recommended to me by my local insurance agent, because other insurance approved shops were booked out for several months. This was a simple bumper replacement totaling about $1200.00. So, I thought they would be appropriate for this minor repair.First glance, the shop reeks of cigarette smoke, and there was a strong diaper smell in the office. My husband cautioned me then are you sure you want to leave your car here? I should have listened and left at that time and patiently waited for another insurance approved body shop.I gave the benefit of the doubt and after speaking with them, they assured me that they would be able to repair. I left my car for several days. Upon pick up things initially looked ok, but when I opened my hood to replace the washer fluid noticed several plastic clips missing. I later emailed and called the office, speaking with the owner who let me know he would go over everything and make the repair himself if necessary. I returned my vehicle and was without again for several days. When I went to pick up the second time, the edges of the wheel wells were not painted, and were the first time, plus should match the rear. I refused the vehicle, and again left with them to repair. Several days later, I went to pick up the vehicle and noticed that things were loose and talked with the office manager. I was told that the vehicle appeared to have been hit causing some problems with the bumper, and I let them know that was not the case. How can I know with all the simple mistakes that were made on my car that it was not done in their shop. Anyway, to make a long story short, things went downhill fast. I will admit I have never been so angry at an individual/business and unfortunately my anger showed. I let them know I would be seeking additional assistance, from another body shop, insurance, and legally. I did do all the above and because of the repair being so minor, not much can be done at this point that does not cost me more time, money and loss of the use of a vehicle.I did seek assistance from a reliable well known insurance approved body shop, who replaced the loose, broken clips at no charge. I was advised that the work was subpar, and to wait and see what the paint did over time. Anyway, as you can see from the photos the paint is peeling at a rapid rate. I am currently on a waiting list to have the vehicle bumper repainted at my expense.So, as I stated earlier, my life lesson learned. If you have a newer car, please be careful if you decide to use this shop. Their reviews are based on older vehicles, which I am sure they would probably do a good job. However, new cars are basically plastic, and require a specialty shop to do those repairs.

Great fender scratch from mailbox fixed by Rick's. 3 days and looks like new for $400. I checked all other paint shops in Newberry. Forget them, they don't want business. I will go back to Rick's...yay!

I just want to praise the service I received from Rick, Ricks Body and Paint shop in Newberry SC . The repair and paint job that was done on my F 150 (mind you, a 2000) was so good, my neighbor ask me if I had bought a new truck and first did not believe it to be my old F 150. I do not recommend any businesses lightly, after all, it is their jobs to please their customers, but, in this case, I have to toot the horn. Not only did they do a fine job, but price was better than most other quotes I had received. Yes, I do recommend this business to anyone needing body and or paint work done on their vehicles. Rick's Paint & Body repainted the nose of my Dodge Dakota truck last month for me. It looks great.They fixed two dents and repainted the right rear quarter of a 2015 Ford Escape for me last week. They did a GREAT job.My experiences with RNP&B have been very positive. They provided on the spot estimates; performed great work as they scheduled/committed with NO surprises. I arrived at 8:35am as I got out of my vehicle I saw a hand lock the door. Then a guy pulls up I asked him if he worked here he said yes showed him what was wrong he went inside nd locked the door back and never came back outside. Very poor customer service and to think I grew up here guess my face isn't allowed here... Wow and they open at 8:30am and now it's 8:55 and no one has come...

Unfortunately I have had to use them three times. That's cause my crew has scrapped and dinged a few cars. They do awesome work and it has been very financially worth the added drive to Newberry! Leave your car on Sunday, pick it up when he calls that week. Like new. Easy peasy.

The Owner and his son took my $1500 deposit and told me that my car would be ready in 2 weeks. 2 months later the car is still sitting with the front and back windows taken out and stripped down and when I stopped by there on several occasions the inside of the car was getting wet from the rain. The car look terrible and I will be towing the car to another respectable place to get painted. Rick the owner and his son was very disrespectful and I would never recommend anyone to go there!

This seems to be a very nice place, never had any work done here. I did stop in one day for some information, and they gladly helped me, they were very friendly and helpful, very good attitudes.
