We were 5 hours away from home and on our way to the beach with a fully loaded van when we were involved in an accident on the interstate. Police dispatched Mark to tow our van. It's hard to put into words how truly grateful we are that Mark was sent to us. He was patient and kind. My children were upset and scared after the accident, but Mark help put them at ease. His calm demeanor and positivity show in his work. We know our vehicle is in safe hands with Mark and his team. Mark went above and beyond by offering to take us to our rental car and allowing us time to transfer our belongings over. We know how valuable his time is and he didn't have to do that for us. In fact, most wrecker drivers would not have done this as they only make money when they are towing vehicles. He turned a very awful experience into a positive one just by being human and kind. Was traveling by Newberry and the bearings went out on my boat trailer. Mark brought his rollback trailer and hauled my boat/trailer back to his shop while I continued on to the beach. Repaired the trailer and gave it a good once over and I was able to pick it up on my way home. Highly recommend Mark Hipps!

These people are very informative and very helpful. They know what they talking about. Helped my company tremendously. Thank you for the time in finding an impossible belt for our broke down truck.

You cannot ask for better people who do excellent work! Mark has been working on our company and personal vehicles for a several years! We have never has an issue and they go out of their way to get the job done right! If Mark can't fix it he will tell you who can!!

If I could give this place more stars I would. Very accommodating and very friendly. We were there very late to check out our car and they went above and beyond anything to help us. Would recommend to anyone!!

My son was on the way back to Clemson when his car broke down on I-26 just past Newberry. I googled automotive repair shops in Newberry and picked this shop. When I called the lady on the phone she was very professional and nice to me. She sent a tow truck out to my son and it was there in less than fifteen minutes. They took my son to the shop where he waited until they found the problem. His fuel pump was broken. The lady at the shop called me and told me the price for a new fuel pump installed and it was a very fair price. I guessed on the price of the tow and I was only five dollars off. The price of the tow was very fair. My son talked to the technicians while they were working on his car and they were very nice. When the job was done, the lady at the shop called me back and said the price was going to be almost $100 cheaper! Wow! I couldn't believe it. I found a fantastic automotive repair shop in Newberry! My son got his car fixed for a very fair price and was able to go back to Clemson in just a few hours. If you ever, ever need work on your car and want to deal with a honest car repair shop, I highly recommend MARK HIPP'S GARAGE AND WRECKER SERVICE in Newberry. From the owner, the person answering the phone, to the technicians, everybody is fantastic! THANK YOU! JOB WELL DONE!
