I recently visited Turn Key Automotive for a tire repair, and I was impressed with their service. They got us in and out quickly, which was greatly appreciated. Morgan at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and made the process smooth. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Turn Key Automotive for their efficient and customer-friendly auto repair services.

I traveled 13 hours in my car for a Myrtle beach vacation. The last 2 hours of driving I heard horrible rattling under my car I thought it was my drive shaft! Some local people recommend Turn Key Auto to check it out. My experience with them was great! Quick affordable repair what thankfully was only a muffler. And I was back on the road in no time at all. I highly recommend Turn Key they are an honest family owned business!Thank you guys so much!

I took my car in for an oil change elsewhere when a mechanic at that place told me my car was making a noise and that it was unsafe to drive - TWO DAYS before I was supposed to move 15 hours away. Talk about poor timing. I took my car to Turn Key and told them what happened. They took me without an appointment. They ran all the diagnostics, checked all the fluid levels, walked me through the process, and assured me that my car was safe for my drive. Big, big shout out to these guys! Oh - and they re reasonably priced too!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Be Warned: Turn Key Automotive will try to pull a fast one over on young females .... Our 16 yr old daughter, just bought her first car, a 2014 Ford Focus, with her own, hard-earned money. Unfortunately, it started to have problems right after purchasing it. We broke down on the side of the road - thinking it was the transmission. Turn Key was the closest place to tow it, so we did - and described what was possibly a transmission problem. They did an assessment and told us that it was definitely the transmission and that it was going to cost us $6,900 to replace the transmission. We were in absolute shock - she didn't even pay that much for the car!!! I called around. I did research. Turns out, those cars in that year have a manual transmission even though its an automatic car, but the trans and engine communicates to each other via a control module. It also turns out that a lawsuit was issued against Ford for these problems, and they issued an extended warranty on these parts - so anyone dealing with the issue could take it to a Ford dealer for a one time replacement if that particular part broke. I called Turn Key to ask what was actually wrong with the transmission, ie. which part was the problem (to see if she'd qualify for the replacement from Ford), to which a man on the line replied "I don't know, it's just broke." Wow. Just remember - if you use Turn Key - this is the kind of answer you'll get about what's wrong with your car so they can try to charge you thousands of dollars.... We had her car towed to a Ford Dealership - and they fixed it for free because that part was still under warranty. If Turn Key was a knowledgeable and respectable establishment they would have known about this Ford lawsuit/recall and they would have sent her to a Ford dealership instead of being shady and trying to charge this 16 year old almost $7,000. Oh, and I had to pay them $120 for an "assessment" fee, before they'd give us the key back to take it to Ford. Disgusting work ethic, and very unprofessional. They should be ashamed. I'd give ZERO STARS if I could.

Been going to turn key for my mazda 3 for years, recently replaced the clutch for 1/2 the price of the dealer and runs like brand new!

Traveling 2,000 miles form home I had an axle seal go bad on my Jeep Wrangler. The guys at Turn Key Auto got me in right away and had me back on the road in 24hours. Everywhere else in town would have been a couple days just to get me in. Incredibly nice and highly recommend for any needs you have.

My friend has used this business for years. It is now UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. THE ONCE REPUTABLE CAR SHOP IS NOW JUNK!!! They did unnecessary work without my friends knowledge or giving them permission to do it. When verified the costs of parts and labor we found out they charged him double for labor! They held onto the vehicle for 5 days. The vehicle was there for a oil change and a tire. If I could leave a negative number I would. STAY AWAY!!!

Went to get my ac fixed and they didn t fix anything. They apparently did an inspection on the ac hoses bc I said it had a leak on the hose. They told me that it had no leak and that the ac was all good. I get there to the place and they charged me $152.20 for it and it still leaks the Ac refrigerant. I even told the guy where I heard the leak coming from.

Been coming to turnkey for years; they used to be great! Last few times my diagnosis was done by a teenager and had to be rechecked by his supervisor to find the problem. They used to be more thorough with fluid checks and full point inspections at no charge, and have recently started to overcharge me on parts and labor for some basic maintenance. The owner is no longer the operating manager and this place is falling off with some slack diagnosis and complacent workers. Recently I was told by a mechanic that he couldn't repair my adaptive headlight because "it would be too much work, a real headache to fix." Been taking my 3 vehicles elsewhere since my last visit-Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

I had the alternator go out on my Mini Cooper and I called Turn Key Auto Repair to get the pricing and availability for repair. I was extremely impressed that I was told it could be completed the same day. When I dropped my car off the gentleman at the desk was polite and upfront about all cost and expectations for completion of the repairs. I got my Mini back the same day! I would highly recommend Turn Key Auto.

We are here on vacation and our car died. Needed a new alternator and we called Turn Key and they got us in and fixed the issue within 3 hours! We left on a vacation not realizing we needed an oil change. Stopped in at Turn Key Automotive when they were busy and short staffed and they had us out in 30 minutes. Price was lower than we pay at home and much lower than another garage we checked with in the Myrtle Beach area. All around great experience. If we lived in the area we d give TKA first dibs at being our regular auto shop.Service: Oil change

We had engine trouble while on a trip through Myrtle Beach and Turn Key Automotive took our truck right in. Accessed the problem promptly and gave estimate of cost to repair. We okayed the repair and were kept informed of progress. These guys are polite, honest and fair in pricing. So thankful for their hard work and prompt service.

I'm so glad I was referred by a friend to Turn Key Auto. Excellent customer service. Todd is a very professional mechanic, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He repaired my heater issue promptly. He also let me know of other repairs my car would need in the future to keep it running in excellent shape! I definitely have and will continue to refer everyone to this business.

Recently needed 4 tires changed out on my car. Called around to local shops in the area. Todd the owner gave me the best quote for my dollar. I dropped my car off the next day and received the call later that day it was ready to roll! Great staff and very reasonable prices.

Courteous, honest work. Best price in town on oil change and tire rotation on my Chevy diesel. Called for price and they offered same day service. Work was done quickly, while we waited. Highly recommend!!

I have brought my car in twice for minor repairs, and both times I received professional advice from Bill, the service advisor. Also, I was very satisfied with the quality of the work performed, and the pricing was fair and straightforward. The air-conditioned waiting area is clean and has new magazines as well as a TV. Being from Boston, I feel happy to have discovered this auto repair shop, and will be bringing all of my vehicles there for future service.

I would highly suggest this shop to anyone in the area of Myrtle Beach.The first day of our vacation in Myrtle Beach we got a flat tire. We initially took our car to Firestone and they said that the tire could not be repaired and that our only option was to buy a new tire... for the price of $210 (for a single tire!) These tires were pretty new so I wasn't about to spend that much. We took the tire to Turnkey Automotive and $20 later our tire was fixed and we were on our way.The next day we stopped by a grocery store to get supplies and when we shut the rear door the window came off track and nearly fell into the door. After having such a great experience the day before at Turnkey we decided to take our car back there. The window repair was to take two hours and where we were staying was not too far off from there so instead of waiting at the shop my girlfriend and I walked home. The owner of the shop called to let us know the car was finished sometime later and I told him that we most likely wouldn't make it back until the next day because we didn't have a ride. He then offered to come pick us up, since we were in close proximity to the shop, so that we could get the car that day.The owner of this shop seems to have a passion for the work that he does and the extent and degree of customer service has never been matched by any shop I have been to, both here in Myrtle Beach and back home in Columbus, Ohio.

I've been bringing my cars to Todd for the last 13 years. I know when I take it to him, I will always have the best service and the best price. He is honest and will always do what's right for his customers. I'll never take my car anywhere else.

Had car trouble on vacation and these guys were great. They were recommended to me by someone who lives in the area. They got me in same day and gave me a fair and reasonable estimate for the repairs I needed. Got the work done the same day and my car is back to good condition.

I went in and was told I needed new break pads and routers, it was metal on metal. I had 20 percent pad left and routers in perfect condition. They told me my battery was at 3 percent, I checked it at auto zone, it us at 100 percent. They charged me 274.99 to have an oil change change with a drip pan seal replaced. That was 2o min time, 200.00 of that was labor. This place is terrible. When I called him up to vo.plain he told me I was lying, he never said any of that! Stay far away. Especially if you're female. They will lie and bleed you dry. Shame on you. If I could give negative stars, I would.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Brake service & repair, Battery

Totally impressed with the work performed on my Corvette. Quality work and a difficult car to work on! They were able to diagnose and fix several problems a 5-Star Chevy dealership was unable to repair. They explained the issues in detail and gave me prices up-front. No surprises here. Excellent prices too! There is a high level of trust with this company and I don't feel like I'm getting ripped-off like the big dealerships are doing. The experts at Turn Key Automotive are definitely my #1 "Go-To" mechanics now.

We were on vacation and our brakes went bad. We were 9 hours away and they gladly squeezed us in and fixed the problem. Replaced our brakes and rotors and calibers. Very honest, very nice. The guys at the front desk held conversation and were friendly. Would go to them as a regular if We didn t live so far away.
