I have been coming here since 2015. Beach is across the street. Good fishing. Building has an indoor pool, outdoor pool. Laundry on site. ATM in the lobby. Big parking garage. Rentals we have stayed in have all been excellent. It can help if you find the right owners who care about your experience. Room 1803 Marcia & Joe. They have been great to rent from. For a week or just a couple days. Fair price and excellent living spaces. Renting from owners who are genuinely are good people and take care of their units. Priceless

Only thing this resort has going for it is the view. The room has roaches ,the internet and cable only work sometimes. The units are suppose to be smoke free and the smell coming from the balcony was horrible. Was not able to enjoy the patio during the day cause of the hornets nest that was above our unit. They should be ashamed of what they are asking for purchasing one of these units. I'm glad it only cost 3 hundred for the week. Definitely would not stay here or recommend it too anyone. Should have stayed at the resort we always stay at when we come down

Very outdated hotel with a parking garage made for compact cars only. We had two rooms both were extremely small and one didn't have working air conditioning after calling to get them fixed it took 4 days before someone came to fix it at one point the room was 81 degrees. Also if you want to exchange towels for your bathroom you have to drive 15 minutes away to a separate location to do so. Finally the security was so rude I considered leaving midway through a vacation. I've never been on a "vacation" as bad as this one and it was because of this hotel. I can not stress this enough, do not come to this hotel!

I will never stay at this resort ever again .The parking is impossible the service is none available. I am disabled and tried to find a handicap space none were empty.so I parked in a parking spot on the property and they towed my car. Cost me 900.00 for a rental car and then 160.00to get my car .no help from anyone. No customer service

Probably one of the best, if not the best condominium complexes you will find that isn't insanely priced..Rooms: They are not really rooms. They are full condos. Atleast everything I saw was. Maybe there is another area of the complex with "rooms", but not in the area I was staying. VERY nice..Noteworthy details: Overall I have no complaints!! Quiet, private, very relaxing, and most importantly, clean!!!

*Video is at the beach in frontI really like this hotel. My family and I have stayed at this hotel every time we are at Myrtle Beach the past couple of weeks. The rooms are really clean. It has an indoor and outdoor pool. And did I mention the views from the rooms? Beautiful. Ocean front, and if you leave the porch door at night, you can sleep to the sound of the ocean. The hotel is close to nearly everything, and 5> miles to get to the most popular POI s. There are a couple restaurants you can walk to from here.

Ocean Forest Plaza is absolutely marvelous. So quiet...about 300 yards from the beach. The premises, in its entirety, is very clean and comfortable. They have a fine outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool and a great whirlpool. Nice sauna as well. I must say, my wife and I was there for a week, and saw no kids. In addition, if you own a larger vehicle, you'll have to park in the side lot because that parking garage is very tight to navigate. All in all, it's a fantastic facility.

we are staying at Ocean forest plaza in 1508 we checked in yesterday and the toilet would not flush sent someone to fix and room was not handicap equipped and today the pool lift want work for our daughter and tried to call the security guard on call and no answer. I called yesterday and the lady I spoke with said she would have guest relations to call me about compensating me for the trouble I have had and still not heard from anyone and there is roaches all in the room I'm very upset this is ridiculous to pay this much for a family vacation and you have roaches crawling everywhereRooms: The condo had roaches crawling everywhere.

We have stayed in two condos here over the past year. It's in a GREAT location central to the entire Grand Strand, front ocean views and QUIET! The building is well maintained and the owners are easy to communicate with. We will be back in March and anytime after to visit our grandchildren and family. Set in a historic neighborhood where the Ocean Forest Hotel was in the 1930s. Love it !

My family and I stayed here over the summer for a week & it was an exceptional experience. I usually don t leave reviews but Apt #1603 surpassed our expectations, starting with the beautiful view & waking up to the sound of the ocean. Easy access to the private section of the beach made it easy and convenient for us enjoy the all week long. We didn t have to worry about struggling find a section to sit and relax. The apartment itself had a modern but homey feel and was equipped with everything we needed. If you re looking for the perfect vacation spot Apt #1603 is the best choice whether your staying for a weekend or two weeks.

First off, this is NOT a hotel!Im an owner, (308)and like many, I rent short-term or to snowbirds. (ON Airbnb)This is a top-notch private condominium community. 60% of this building are full-time residents. I do think some just aren't acceptable of guests because of disrespect to the property. I think people have felt it is discriminatory, but most of it is just because they are trying to keep it a nice building. Many visitors can be disrespectful, smoking on the property, bringing pets and other things that they just prefer to try to get away with. but so far, my guests have been pleasant MOST maintenance staff, security, and residents are kind.If you want a party place, this is NOT it. This is a QUIET neighborhood. Good for singles. Couples and small family. It really is better for couples. There is a park for children down the street a little near the beach. Also nice to sit and look at the beautiful ocean.Owner pets only, no smoking on property, and the parking garage can be intimidating, but take it SLOW.. We have made it with our minivan, and I've seen pickups make it without damage. After a couple of times, you will get the hang of it.Walkability: Awesome place for walking the beach or sidewalk.

A little bit pricier but honestly worth it. We stayed in the Classic 1 Bedroom Condo with the Ocean View and it came with everything completely furnished, including cooking utensils, a toaster, full fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, cabinets full of dishware,a coffee and tea pot, and more. The living room area has a dining room table, a pretty decent sized flat screen tv including Spectrum cable and a dvd player, 2 couches, and an amazing view of the ocean. The bedroom has 2 full beds and a tv and is connected to the bathroom. I have personally never felt safer in a hotel room. Each door requires a specific security code (that was emailed to me by the booking company Hosteeva whose service was great btw) and it was extremely quiet on our floor. However, I also have to mention the horrendous parking situation. Driving from floor to floor throughout the parking garage is TIGHT. The layered coats of paint on the walls from cars struggling to fit through the narrow ramps says everything. But if you can get through that, this is the place for you.There is also an indoor and outdoor pool facing the ocean, as well as a sauna. The pools were both open until 11pm and were very clean. The beach and ocean were less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.Overall 5/5.

We rented through Booking.com, when had our unit listed from Hosteeva. The condo building as a whole was great!!!!! The pools were clean for the most part, the lobby was clean the whole time we were there. We only had two issues; the first one was finding a note from the tenant below us, asking us to stop making noise at night. It truly wasn't us, the people next to us slammed doors for hours the night they checked into their condo. We were in 2308, the person below us is a permanent resident, they shouldn't be allowed to harass guests. The second issue was that the electric had to be turned off due to a truck hitting a pole, we were in the elevator when they shut off the electric, we got stuck for almost 15 minutes. They should have made sure all the elevators were down and empty before cutting off the power. I do appreciate them having a generator to keep one elevator running. The location is perfect, the beach wasn't crowded and there was plenty of room around the pool to sit and relax.

The swimming pool was closed for a week,so I only went once. The gym never opened,I was told that only for the owners. Never can be used for travellers. Service is hard to reach for Canadians, if you don't have an American plan. In the beginning,the WiFi did not work, good thing my neighbor helped. Anything else is perfect, especially the room facing the ocean, which is wonderful.

Beautiful facility on the famed cabana row in Myrtle Beach. Stunning unobstructed views and minimal commercial presence giving you the feel of a private beach while still just minutes from anything you may desire to do in Myrtle. Indoor pool and hot tub available for when the weather doesn't permit the outdoor pool to be used. Parking garage is very tight but there is ample outside parking for larger vehicles. Highly recommend staying here.

PARKING is a NIGHTMARE. The parking garage was built for cars from the 80s. The AVERAGE car length is 14.7ft. They will tow your car if you are 1/2 and inch under 16 feet if you try to park in the back lot. HALF inch. They are googling your car length and ticketing you if google doesn t say your vehicle more then 16 inches long . I understand a foot or more short of 16ft but 2 or 1/2 inch, THATS insane. My vehicle is to long for the parking garage. Being on vacation means relaxation not worrying my cars going to get ticketed because it s 1/2 inch short of 16ft.

Right on ocean. Great views. Pools were large and well cared. Building was older but was well maintained and decorated.Rooms: Small one bedroom unit but mostly used as living homes so quiet and clean.

The parking deck is VERY narrow. Hallways are narrow. The actual condo was in really good condition. Nice beach front balcony. I never heard other guests going and coming rooms almost seem to be sound proof but I think it's more of how it's layed out. All the pictures were taken from the balcony from the 20th floor. Except for the sign.

Right next to the beach! View is amazing. The condo I had was fully furnished with everything needed to cook your own meals and clean everything up when finished. There were plenty of towels available in the bathroom and the parking ticket was posted on the refrigerator (I still missed it though - I was too enthralled with the view of the ocean from the 14th floor!). There is a pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna on ground level. I didn't try the coffee vending machine, but I did think about it. There was coffee and a coffee pot provided in the condo I stayed in. This was one of the best mini vacations I've ever experienced and I intend to get back to this exact condo soon!

From the outside, it is just like all of the other condos in the area. The room in which we stayed was pretty nice (note that this may not be everyone's experience as there are many different condominiums in this building). Speaking specifically about the building, the parking deck really stressed me out as I have never experienced a parking deck that tight before (and definitely something to avoid if your driving a wide vehicle) The interior halls and building security features definitely need a remodel as it feels and smells like a back alley. It does however have a very nice pool and a wonderful quite road so traffic on the roadway should not be an issue.

We rented a condo for a week in this complex. It is literally across from the beach and really perfect. It also has two pools and a hot tub. The staff working here are all nice. The grounds are well kept with beautiful plants outside. While inside is outdated, it's still very clean and maintained. Parking here is tricky, but we did just fine in our SUV. It's the only negative about the complex but given the age, it's normal. Love this complex and the views!!

Please don t stay at this hotel. I would never stay with my family here again!! The security guard doesn t have any manners or respect to people. Also this lady who acted like she owned the building, she claimed to live there. This lady and the security guard treated my family very discriminating. If you are of colored skinned we are not welcomed here! Very surprised didn t think we still had races people in 2022.

I must say that I was very much satisfied with my stay at Ocean Forest Plaza. I must admit that I was a bit nervous about not having an official front desk to check in and out and/or voice any concerns that I may have had. But everything went very smooth. All the information that I needed was is my email. The room looked exactly like the pictures. It was a nice sized place for a great price. Everyone was nice and friendly. This is a great place to enjoy with your family. The only reason that I gave it a 4 was because there was hair on the couch and in the bedroom. But besides that, it was wonderful. Would definitely book again!

This place is absolutely beautiful! I was lucky enough to rent a condo from a lady named Sharon. Her condo was super beautiful & perfect for us! She was so kind & helpful. Her unit was priced just right & was easy to book. The condo is oceanfront & access to beach is so easy! Great views & close to almost anything you might want to do in Myrtle Beach. I am looking forward to booking my next beach vacation with Sharon & staying again at Ocean Forest Plaza! Don't miss a chance to stay here if you can! You won't be disappointed!
