Shout out to Bruno and team at MODERN RUST in Myrtle Beach!My Christmas wish was to have my 5 yr old vehicle (with only 50,000. Miles) paint job refreshed. We live in a condo bldg with garage so it s protected from weather BUT NOT door dings.I stopped in for estimate to remove door dings / painting as needed ..He took the time to explain procedure and time frame involved..My husband returned with me to pick upvehicle and we were both so happy with results.The vehicle is shiny and bright!Thanks Bruno and team members for the great service / teamwork.You have a customer for life!Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year.!

Got my truck repaired here after someone scraped my front bumper while backing up. They got me in super quick for an appointment and the work was done within 2 days. Bruno is a great guy, I had work done a couple years ago by him and his team! They ve done a wonderful job both times. Highly recommend!!

They did an amazing job removing all the rust on the top of my old Honda near the sunroof and repainting it to perfectly match the rest of the car. They were very professional and did the work in a timely fashion. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Just happened to see the body shop and needed to have my ford truck lid repainted. I stopped in and they were very helpful and told me yes they can do it. I brought it in, I was told it would taje 5 days. On the 3rd day I got a call my lid was completed. When I went to pick it up I could not believe the paint job they did it looked brand new again!!!!! This is the body/paint and restoration shop that I would highly recommend in Myrtle Beach. I m truly glad I found them and they did a fantastic job. Definitely a 5 star shop!!!!!!! Anthony DeMonica

Awesome job done by modern Rust on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. They installed new bumpers and a winch and then painted the fenders and grill to match the satin wrinkle finish. They also applied a rust preventative which I highly recommend made the 11year old undercarriage look brand new. if I could offer 10 stars I would, I had Bruno & crew take on my vintage Jeep truck & they went above & beyond my expectations, I would highly recommend this shop, their mechanic work is impeccable & Bruno is a very talented painter. Overall it was money well spent.

Dropped in on a whim to see if Modern Rust would replace the bumper cover on my 2011 Jeep. Nice guy and he knew exactly what I was talking about. He fixed it and price was under what we expected. Fixed it the same day! It was a small job but very professional and price was very reasonable and fair.

Bruno and Mallory at Modern Rust were exceptional! Recently took a Ram pickup there to have some undercarriage rust remediated and have an undercarriage protection spray applied. Since I work most days my wife was the one who had to take the truck in to have them take a look and give an estimate for everything I wanted to have done. Bruno was amazing; he thoroughly and simply explained to my wife what he was going to do so she could relay the info to me. And the work he did was meticulous and top notch. You can really tell he takes pride in his work. Would highly recommend.

Beware of Bruno the belligerent owner/operator. He will take your money, do part of the job, and then tell you to come pick up your incomplete vehicle. He will cry about not working for free when he underbids a project and blame everyone but his own incompetence when he doesn't finish. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable shop to work on your vehicle. He is a textbook narcissist and will never acknowledge that he doesn't complete jobs. Check yelp reviews. If you have all the experience you claim to have then why can't you complete a project that you estimated 6 months, in what is now over 2 yrs?

This is the SECOND car that Bruno and his team have done for me...my 2023 TESLA!! I drove through some sort of paint and they did a fabulous job getting all the paint off of the side of the car as well as all up in the wheel well. THEN they coated the whole thing with a ceramic coating...inside and out...it looks INCREDIBLE. Fantastic Work Ethic as I stated below when they did my Honda. THANK YOU!! (and I don't trust many people with my Tesla but I knew Bruno would take great care of her!!).Bruno and his team are really amazing! They did a fabulous job on my Honda...repairing all the scratches and painting and completely detailing the whole car! Fabulous work ethic at that shop! Had a Lambo door kit installed on my 2017 Mustang. Kit was painted and installed in the time and cost quoted. Office staff is wonderful to deal with and time was taken at pick up to show and explain all work and operation of new parts.

I have had the pleasure of working with Bruno on a few various occasions, most recently on some minor body work and a paint restoration on both my Audi TT and my son s Nissan Frontier Pro4x. Bruno possesses a pride in his craft and applies an attitude of treating his customers cars as if they were his own. I respect his attention to detail and his willingness to go above and beyond in his client services even if it requires working after hours or working through an injured shoulder. He gone so far as arranging transportation for me when he has been working on my vehicles, dropped cars off to my house, etc. He gives sound advice on what to do and not to do with caring for or upgrading a car s aesthetics, and I appreciate the time and attention he puts into those who put their trust in him. I would recommend him highly if looking for affordable, quality auto body painting and restoration work done with a thoughtful hands-on business owner.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I entrusted my beloved 1999 Lexus to Modern Rust with the unrealistic hopes of having it restored to its former glory . . . My vehicle, in the past, had intrepidly survived 13 winters parked outdoors in the harsh, freezing temperatures of coastal Maine. It had endured travel on thousands of miles of salt, sand and slush filled roads. The hood, roof and front fenders were chipped and pockmarked in uncountable places due to the airborne attacks of hard-shelled bugs and jagged stones. And in all those harrowing years, my drab, neglected automobile had never once been treated to a single application of wax! . . . The day I picked up my car I did so with only moderate expectations . . . I was, however, genuinely astonished and overjoyed with the fabulous results . . . Bruno s dedication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail had turned my tired, aging Lexus into a vehicle of stunning classical beauty . . . I would not, for one second, hesitate to recommend Modern Rust s services to friends and family who may be seeking exceptional auto detailing and painting services. I wish I could give this joke of a place a zero. Modern rust will destroy your vehicle and steal your money. DO NOT USE MODERN RUST. I've seen first hand the destruction this fool has done to several vehicles. Take your car somewhere else....Macco would even be a better option. You have been warned. AVOID MODERN RUST

At only 90,000 miles, I knew my 2002 Toyota Corolla still had a lot of life left in her. I brought her to Modern Rust because of several rust spots on the hood, but Bruno immediately decided to take a few pictures of the undercarriage. What he found, and showed me, was an expanse of extreme rust. It had eaten away an incredible amount of the metal, including much of the piece that held up the gas tank.Despite a very heavy workload, Bruno and Cheyenne worked me into their schedule within ten days. All of the body and engine rust was removed and replaced with a protective coating that would last ten years or longer. Metal parts that were beyond saving were replaced.A few weeks later I returned my Corolla to Modern Rust to address the rust issues on the hood and other areas of the body that I hadn't even noticed until they were pointed out to me (like wheel wells and rocker panels), and to be fully painted. The clear coat that had been applied a few decades before was peeling off and the car looked pretty awful.I picked my car up yesterday and was both shocked and delighted by the results. The paint job was impeccable and very shiny. It literally looked like a brand-new car. Beyond that, Bruno and his team had not only detailed the interior of the car but they had also detailed the engine. For a car that old to look like it just rolled out of the showroom would have seemed totally impossible but Bruno, Mallory, and Nelson take their jobs very seriously and worked hard to restore my car to its "Day One" glory.Strictly by coincidence, I saw an article this morning (8/22/2023) saying the average cost of a new car now is $40,000. Bruno and his team returned a practically new car to me for just a fraction of that number. If your car spent years driving on salted roads in the snowy north, you should have it checked out at Modern Rust.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Brought my 2013 F150 Platinum in to get the rotted rocker panels removed and replaced. It s a shame Ford designs trucks so poorly that they rot out prematurely. Got a solid estimate from Bruno, if memory serves me right it was much less than I was quoted up North. Work was done timely and truck was nice and clean on pick up. Solid repair. I was concerned about the frame needing to be cleaned up and coated, but Bruno saved me money and didn t push work that can be delayed for a few years in case I don t stay in the truck. He also showed me pictures taken throughout the repair. Cheyenne at the front desk was also a pleasure to work with. I found this shop by accident when googling repair places; glad I did! Does anyone know another shop that can finish my restoration for my 1990 Ford Mustang convertible I brought in to be done 2/ 2022 and it only has been painted? I paid 2 deposits and my contract states 6 - 8 months. I really didn't want to wait 2 years. Bruno said I can take it as is. So disappointed

In my more than 70 years on this planet, i have never had a better experience at a body shop. Bruno, the owner, personally inspected my 2009 Camry and gave me an exceptionally reasonable estimate. He is cordial, professional and extremely knowledgeable about cars and trucks. In fact, he and his crew actually restore vintage vehicles and make them look like new. I was so happy with my Camry when I got it back. They took out all the ugly scratches, gouges, and blemishes, and matched the paint perfectly. They didn't charge me a penny over the estimate, and they even detailed the car. It exceeded my expectations and looks brand new. Cheyenne at the front desk was also friendly, helpful and professional. All in all a superb experience. I would give them 20 stars if I could!

I recently 3 weeks ago took my Infiniti QX 60 in for a quote and repair of the back right-side panels dented in from a recent accident. Bruno the owner provided me with an excellent detailed description of what repairs needed and excellent quote to repair my vehicle. He promised the car would come out looking perfect and as he promised the car looked brand new after the job was completed. His team could not have done a better job on my car. Bruno values a job done to perfection and that is evident in the work Modern Rust team performed on my car. I would highly recommend Bruno and the Modern Rust team to anyone needing their vehicle restored or repaired based on the excellent results and experience I had with my QX 60. Modern rust is amazing! Super responsive, understanding and went above and beyond for me. To the tiny to the big things, I could not be more amazed. They fixed my front and rear bumper, side mirror and even put in a brake light that I got, and headlights along with detailing those. Car was painted and detailed to the nines both inside and out! My 2005 Honda Accord looks like the day I got it! I highly recommend Modern rust to any one who wants a paint job and more. Everyone is super welcoming and treat you like family.
