Every time I stay at this Marriott, it delivers. It s in a perfect spot with great views. The last couple of times I needed a place to stay, this was my go-to, and they didn t disappoint. They even let me check in early last time, which was a total lifesaver. You've got everything you need for a comfortable stay, and it s all right there. Plus, you re around the corner from some great restaurants and the beach. So, if you re looking for a place that gets it right , check out the Marriott. Great rooms, awesome location, and just a really good place to stay.

Outstanding, exceptional, wonderful experiences staying at this gorgeous resort. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone is genuinely kind, welcoming and sincere in their efforts to make your stay absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this Marriott. I have stayed several times in the past month, and each time it exceeded my expectations. Restorative, inspiring, peaceful and delightful in every way.

My husband and I went to Myrtle Beach for our anniversary, and we stayed at this hotel. Centrally located, so close to everything. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view was amazing! The hotel in general was really nice, clean and modern. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and kind. Nice breakfast included. We will go back.Rooms: The rooms are spacious. We got a king bed oceanfront suite. There was a small living room area with a couch and office space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Big balcony facing the water. We were on the 23rd floor, so, super quiet, no noise from the beach or anything. Great stay overall.Food & drinks: Plenty of great restaurants around. Our favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach, Rioz, the Brazilian steakhouse, is just like 5 minutes away.

Normally this is a perfect place for a vacation great rooms and great location. However this last time I was beyond disappointed. They placed me and my guests in an older room directly below where they are doing major construction. Every day from sunrise to sunset deafening drilling and banging. When asked for some sort of small compensation for the inconvenience they directed me to the notice on their page which stated light construction. This was not the usual Marriot standers I have become accustomed to.

Was in town on business. The lobby and common areas of the building are in great shape, the pool areas are lovely and expensive. The rooms could use some updating, mine had a few broken outlets and this place, like all places in Myrtle Beach, has that "Beach hotel" smell. For the price point I imagine one could do better, but it's certainly a fine place to stay if youre planning to use everything they offer.

By far the highest Quality hotel in Myrtle Beach! Now that I found this place. I won t stay anywhere else. Rooms are very clean. Valet attendant had great customer service. Wesley at the front desk was AMAZING! Justin the bartender was also the greatest!Oceans restaurant also has great food options, the cleanest breakfast buffet I have ever seen and the employees all had great attitudes, especially norris and Sanjey. The amenities are great! This definitely a 5 star deal here! On the water! Gives Romantic vibes. Lots of pool options as well. Has a bar too! Very convenient. This is just what the doctor ordered.

We visited on the off season (yet still warm) and the ocean view room was just lovely! They have their own entrance to the beach that made it convenient for exploring. Lots of outside entertainment with the pools, hot tub, chess board, hammocks and lots of lounge space. What I appreciated was morning coffee their bar became a coffee shop in the mornings, also offering simple continental breakfast items to buy for quick on the go. We will stay here again when we come to visit Myrtle Beach.

Rooms are clean and inviting. The view was spectacular and the staff are very pleasant. There is a lot to do in the hotel and it is located within walking distance to restaurants and bars. I would very much recommend this hotel all around!Noteworthy details: Incredibly thoughtful attention to detail! My husband's birthday was a few days before our arrival and without any requests or mention of it the staff sent cake and a birthday balloon to our room! It was a lovely surprise and we are very grateful!

We had the best experience for a long weekend for our anniversary! Everyone was so friendly. Excellent beach access. We highly recommend the spa. Noelle provided the most therapeutic message we've had in a while! Also, visit Justin at the poolside bar. He's friendly and mixes a great drink! The breakfast buffet at oceans 82 was surprisingly good and not a bad deal at all!

I hold Elite status with Marriott and frequently stay in various hotels. While the staff at this establishment is courteous, I would rate it as more of a two or three-star hotel. The quality of the food leaves much to be desired, and the prices are on the higher side. Room service, unfortunately, falls short of expectations. Although the property itself is appealing, there's room for improvement if they intend to justify their 4-star pricing. Visitors expecting a genuine 4-star hotel experience will find themselves somewhat disappointed.

The hotel was great overall! We had no problems.Staff was very pleasant & friendly, especially front desk & valet parking. The location was beautiful. We had an ocean front king room.It stormed Friday, but the weather was fantastic on Saturday & Sunday, so we could enjoy outside the hotel, beach & courtyards. We enjoyed our stay and we'll be back for sure.Nearby activities: Very close to everything. Malls, outlets, shows, and activities.Food & drinks: Hotel food! Very overpriced. We wanted one bowl of plain oatmeal and were willing to come down to pick it up. But $17 pickup or room service (same price) Too much! Pickup should be cheaper than room service. We tip everyone anyway.

My recent stay at the Myrtle Beach Resort and Spa was nothing short of exceptional, a delightful experience for both leisure and business purposes. The hotel's modern design seamlessly blends comfort and elegance, offering an inviting atmosphere that sets it apart. The rooms at this resort are a standout feature. They are not only modern in their aesthetic but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. Every detail, from the tasteful decor to the state-of-the-art amenities, speaks of a commitment to quality and guest comfort. The serene environment provided a restful retreat after a day of activities.I found the conference facilities particularly impressive. The resort provided a great conference experience with well-equipped meeting rooms, high-speed internet, and efficient service, making it an ideal venue for business events. The attentive staff ensured that every aspect of our conference ran smoothly, demonstrating professionalism and dedication.Accessibility is another advantage of this resort. Its location is easy to find, conveniently situated and well-connected, which was greatly appreciated by all attendees. This convenience significantly enhanced our overall experience. The staff at the Myrtle Beach Resort and Spa deserve a special mention. They were not just friendly but genuinely helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Genuinely enjoyed this resort. The staff was great, the room was nice, though the King we reserved wasn't available. It was conveniently located in what I'd describe as middle of north and south MB. Quick access to shopping, theaters, and entertainment. Excellent restaurants on-site and plenty of options on Kings Hwy if you prefer to venture off the resort. Excellent pools both indoor and outdoor and access to a clean beach not over crowded or busy (at least during this time of year). I'd book again.

It all started with coming into our room and it smelled awful to the point I had to go to the store and buy air fresheners for it. Then our refrigerator was broke it wasn t cool. I went to the front desk and yes they replaced it within a few hours. We asked for a crib for our 1 year old, they brought us a very dirty pack n play. It was so disgusting that I made my husband just fold it back up and put it outside the door. This was horrible because now he has to stay in bed with us in a queen size bed. Second day here and now our air conditioner broke. Best they could do is give us $100 credit. Hotel is booked so we can t even switch rooms. We have three children who are all miserable and sweating. Awful and worst thing to be is hot on vacation in your hotel room. The rooms are very small and no place to put clothes. We are a family of 5 and only had 4 small drawers to put clothes in so we re all basically living out of a suitcase. Some of the desk staff were rude. I asked for towels and the kid got ignorant with me about it. We paid a lot of money to stay in this hotel just to be disappointed. I ll never stay here again or at another Marriott. This hotel was such a waste of money. I feel our vacation has sucked already because this hotel room is horrible. We have 4 days left.. I can t wait to be disappointed some more.

Pros: The pool and water access were nice! Hammocks were also great. Very relaxing. Cons: It s an old hotel that has some upgrades but it s lipstick on a pig. Our first room had stains all over the comforter so we asked for a different room. The second room had water stains on the ceiling from previous leaks and smelled like mold. The beds are awful. I m 35 years old with no back problems and after the first night my back was killing me. The bathroom/shower was fine. Overall the property isn t being maintained. Also, everything is very expensive(to be expected). Two drinks at the bar was $35 without tip. Two drinks outside at the pool were $33 without tip. The drinks outside were very watered down. They also used a cheap vodka/rum. Honestly I m surprised this place received so many positive reviews. Just FYI - the beach chairs and umbrellas you see in pictures on the beach are not owned by the hotel. You have to pay to rent them.

Our family had a wonderful time at this resort. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The concierge wasn t the most helpful when asked for kid friendly places for dinner. He was a bit gruff. The beach was beautiful and so accessible with convenient chair and umbrella rentals. The room was nice, clean and updated with a nice shower and bathroom in general.Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed here for a few days and were traveling with an infant. The hotel accommodated us by giving us a room on a high floor in a quiet location. The rooms were clean but not the biggest which wasn't a deal breaker. We had a nice view. The pool areas were nice and the beach was just a few steps away. The location was great and staff was hospitable. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful relaxing time. The spa was Soooo , lucious and welcoming. A waiting area with "nature goodies" band herbal teas. Then feast your eyes on their Mag-delicious gift shop. As you enter the Spa to check in you see all the lovely items for sales. So while you are getting a relaxing spa treatmentyou can think about what you simply can't live without and pick it up on you walk through as you leave and hit the restaurant/bar on the next floor up.All our needs were metWe had the best time and already making planx

We had a great stay at the Grand Dunes. The hotel is truly deserving of its "resort" moniker and in some ways it feels like every bit as much as a tropical resort as being in the Caribbean... although it is starting to show its age.Truly located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, you can easily get almost anywhere within a 15 minute drive. I very much appreciated that there is a self-service parking option. The parking is very close to the hotel's side entrance making it super convenient. The rooms are nice and comfortable, but starting to show a bit of wear. The elevators are sufficient and you never need to wait long. The resort has a great layout with a large comfortable lobby with a balconies everywhere allowing you to look out onto the pool and the ocean. The beach is wide and beautiful and the hotel provides incredibly easy access. There are 2 decent sized pools and a stand alone water slide (open only during season). Unfortunately there is definitely a sewage smell that permeates the pool area. One thing to note: My arrival date was on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, and I can honestly say that I would never want to stay here when busy. It's total pandemonium and you are lucky to get any service, pool seats, or even space in the pool for that matter. That Tues was a whole different experience and it went from stressful and crazy to chill and relaxation which made all the difference. My main complaints with the hotel are not exclusive to this hotel as it seems to be a reoccurring problem at all Marriott's these days. They nickle and dime the life out of you. Insanely expensive drinks, tons of pool seats that are rental only, and all the beach seats are rental only. The food here all comes from the same kitchen and it's pretty decent, but breakfast was a sad state of affairs with an expensive coffee shop that sells pre-packaged residence inn style breakfast. Also, as with most Marriotts, it feels like they have half the staff they need, and the half that are present have no guest service or hotel mgmt training. But all that aside, this is a great place to stay if you go at the right times. I would stay away if the lowest prjced rooms are over $300/night as thats a good indicator that the place is going to be packed.
