This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are fantastic. We had a beautiful view of the golf course and intercoastal waterway. The staff kindly upgraded my wife and I to a suite that had a full living room and kitchen. There is a variety of dining on the property and nearby. The property has walking paths that go along the water. It's extremely easy to get to the beach. We're local and will definitely be coming back regularly.

The service is incredible. The gentlemen they had working valet and helping with our luggage are the nicest people we've ever dealt with at a hotel. The rooms are large and have everything you need for a short stay plus things you need if you're making it a long stay. Having our own washer and dryer in our room is a huge benefit with two boys. Much easier to pack and head home with a suitcase full of clean folded clothes, trust me, there's been plenty of times we've had to buy another suitcase just to pack dirty clothes. We were there from 12/29 through New years and left on 1/2. They were extremely busy over new years but you never felt like it inside the hotel. It was peaceful. It was also cold while we were visiting but that just meant we got to enjoy the fireplace in our room, which I forgot to mention was a two bedroom, two bath with kitchen, dining and living areas. It was a beautiful and spacious room, with two balconies, one in the living area and one off our master suite. We have family in Myrtle Beach, so we visit at least a couple times a year. Since finding this hotel a couple years ago, there is no other hotel in Myrtle Beach or the surrounding area that we would even consider staying at.

A Great Space, friendly staff from check-in (Patricia) to the restaurant staff (Michelle & Kathy) at the on-site restaurant called Waterscapes, which has great, filling breakfast. The rooms are a fantastic size, high beds, lounge area, mini kitchen, private balcony. Unfortunately, it was chilly and hubby didn't get to schedule his tee time this trip, but we'll be back.I do think that with the famed Ruth Chris restaurant on the Marina Inn property, there should be a percentage discount available for patrons of the hotel. Just a thought.Rooms: Extremely roomy in space. Love the mini kitchen, high plush California King beds, double sink bathroom, perfect for couples and private balcony.

I recently attended my company's award banquet at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite confirming with the hotel beforehand about the availability of EV charging facilities, I was disappointed to find upon arrival that they only had Tesla chargers. This left me stranded with my electric car, and despite reaching out for assistance, the lack of concern and initiative from the staff added to my frustration. The hotel's failure to provide adequate support for guests with electric vehicles reflects poorly on their customer service standards. As a result, what was meant to be a celebratory occasion turned into a logistical nightmare. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements measures to ensure all guests, regardless of their vehicle type, are catered to appropriately in the future.

So let me start by saying the staff was AMAZING!! I was honestly taken back by the valet, as I've never used one before. The grounds were quite nice as well. However, they lose MAJOR points on the room. Paid extra to have a nicer suite. Among other things the curtains were falling down, the fireplace didn't work, the robe in the closet had some pretty nasty stains on it. The wood floors were older and cool looking, however they were very noisy. Was EXTEMELY disappointed in the quality of the room.Rooms: The room was extremely disappointing in its quality.Safety: They had security patrolling the parking lot.Food & drinks: Several choices on-site. Also not far from many other choices.

Overall, the rooms were ok, but the smell of the room where we stayed wasn't pleasant. The carpets either needs to be changed or deep cleaned. When you have a facility like this, you have to stay on top of the cleanliness. The view was great, but I expect perfection when I book a place that cost this much.Safety: The hotel was pretty safe, I didn't feel unsafe at all.

Staff was very pleasant to deal with and the views are great of the Marina and Intercoastal but the room was disappointing. We paid extra to stay in a suite for New Years, however it wasn't worth it. The room needed renovations anyway but in addition there were things that I would have never expected at a 4 star hotel. The curtains were literally falling down. The wine rack was covered in a thick layer of dust. There were lights burnt out, and filters that needed replaced, and they would alarm when used because of it! The bath robes were stained....but I think the most upsetting thing was that the fireplace in the room wasn't operational. One of the biggest perks of the suite didn't work. And the engineer who was sent to light the pilot light for us already knew the fireplace didn't work. He was only halfway into the room and hadn't even looked at it before he began apologizing for it.Nearby activities: Within walking distance of Pirates, Ruth Chris restaurant and The Carolina Opry.

The Marina Inn is perfectly located on a main road in Myrtle Beach that provides easy access to everything, including the beach and all local attractions, without the extra cost (and risks) of being right on the beach. All the grounds and amenities were fantastic! My room with a single king bed was spacious and beautiful, including the bathroom. The view from the balcony over the small river behind the hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The room was quiet, comfortable, and had both excellent internet and a very responsive (and intuitive) central heating thermostat. Room service was quick and the food was excellent.Notably, from the moment my sister and I arrived at the front door, we felt like everyone was very intentional about taking excellent care of us. Scott was a super friendly valet, and Sam took great care of our luggage and gave us lots of very helpful information, answering every question we had quickly and accurately. We honestly felt like they became fast friends, and we chatted with them every time we went in and out of the hotel. Laura at the check-in desk was also extremely helpful and friendly, and she likewise became an immediate friend! Megan and Caitlyn provided wonderful service and conversation (when they had time) in the Waterscapes breakfast restaurant, which had delicious food at very reasonable prices. The manager Connie was also extremely friendly and attentive. I would give 10 stars for the service here if I could!!!I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay. I will certainly be back here the next time I need a hotel in Myrtle Beach!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Marina Inn for one night. The experience was all around great, from the moment I walked in the door and Laura helped me get checked in to the time we departed the hotel. The larger facility and room we stayed in were beautiful, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would recommend a stay at the Marina Inn, and we will definitely consider it again.

We decided to book Marina Inn for our honeymoon/ one-year anniversary and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Their Waterscapes Restaurant staff are phenomenal. Even the shuttle driver was a true delight. Our room appeared to be quietly upgraded which was a cute surprise, unnecessary, but I enjoyed having a full kitchen. Pools and sauna are top notch. So happy we decided to stay here!Rooms: The room was luxurious and cozy.Nearby activities: The inn is so close to so many attractions.

Came down for the night to go look at Christmas lights... place was quiet and clean... inside pool and sitting pool area was not very warm.. did not go out to the outside pool. Room was nice and clean. Front desk was helpful and kind.. Valet attendant was alittle pushy during check in due to not wanting Valet services but needing a place to park during check in.

I have to start out by saying that the facility itself is beautiful and my room had a beautiful view. I assume that each condo is individually owned but I'm not 100% sure because I didn't make the reservation, I was a guest of the person whom paid for and booked the condo. We were there just 1 night for business. In my opinion and first complaint is this, you're not allowed to check in until 4 pm, which is ridiculous. Then check out time is 10 am?? Seriously? So it was over $300 for an 18 hour stay? Again RIDICULOUS! The condo was nice and spacious. But, it sleeps 6 or more and the balcony has only 2 outdoor chairs, that's it, and dining table seats only 4? Not very good accommodations there. Now this is something that everyone needs to know regardless where you choose to stay hotel or condo or other wise. CHECK AND INSPECT THE COFFEE MAKER! I cannot stress that enough. Our coffee maker was absolutely disgusting and had not been cleaned in months. I worked in the restaurant and bar business for decades, as well as hotels. The coffee maker was unusable. It was covered in old dried up mold inside and out. I tried cleaning it and it was so bad,It wasn't possible. Even the hot plate the pot sits on was filthy. I don't know about you, but I expect to be able to make coffee when I wake up, especially when I'm staying at an expensive facility. I even brought my own specialty coffee. The disgusting bacteria and mold can make a person extremely ill and quite possibly a trip to the ER. Needless to say we were very disappointed considering the amount of money we spent for such a short stay. We did make contact with someone regarding the coffee maker and stated that I spent over an hour trying to clean it with no success and they were polite and apologetic. They also extended our check out Time to 12 noon, which is what it should be to begin with anyway. I hope that other guests will consider complaining about the check in and check out times as well. They need to hire more staff to clean the rooms so that the check in and out times are more reasonable. And not to mention running a vinegar and water cycle through the coffee maker after each time the rooms are booked

This is our 3rd time staying there. This last visit room was fantastic, can't believe the difference in how rooms are kept as this last one 4-405 was horrible. From torn up carpets, to shower drains clogged up and microwave not functional and prices are still the same HIGH!!!You guys need to step up your A game

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable large room. Pool and hot tub nicely situated with view of the near by harbor. Breakfast had good variety and was tasty. Overall well done. I would like to hit the Spa next time I'm in town.Rooms: Very spacious clean and neat. Loved sitting on the balcony too

Beautiful view of the boats on the intracoastal waterway from my balcony. The room was very quiet, no noises heard from neighbors so they must have good soundproofing or insulation. The shower water pressure wasn't the best but it was ok. The first room I was given was on the first floor with shrubbery blocking the view of the ICW. I called the front desk and complained about that and they were kind enough to upgrade my room to the 4th floor with a great view! Plenty of self-parking is available for free, but the valet is also free! Starbucks is in the lobby in the mornings too. The room was spotless, including the dishes provided in the kitchen. Wonderful hotel!Nearby activities: Close to North Myrtle Beach, the Tanger Outlets, and Carolina Opry.Noteworthy details: Indoor pool with hot tub, full exercise room.

I stayed recently for 7 nights for a family vacation. Marsha and Teriauna at the front desk were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Our 3 bedroom suite was modern, clean and spacious. Our kids loved the pool and we loved the poolside food and drinks. Pam was awesome behind The shuttle to the private beach and included beach chairs and umbrellas were an excellent benefit. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again!

My first time in Myrtle Beach and boy, what a joy it was to stay at the Marina Inn. Stayed for there at the end of September so weather was beautiful too. Even though I have given five stars in all categories, I would have given more to all the staff for such friendly and attentive service. Now I understand what Southern Hospitality means. Hats off and many thanx to restaurant, bar, pool bar staff and shuttle driver. Wish I could remember all their names. Oh , took the shuttle to the beach and walked there for what seemed like hours so I easily and joyfully exceeded my 10,000 steps.Rooms: Very clean and everthing worked just fine.Nearby activities: Took shuttle to the beach, available almost on demand. Took Uber to Tanger Factory Outlet Mall, only $9.Food & drinks: Excellent b'fast buffet and they also make eggs to order. Excellent service, food and drinks at the pool bar.

I am loving my vacation stay here with my husband and children. Our suite is large and beautiful with nice amenities such as full size refrigerator and stove, microwave, washer and dryer in-house, beautiful granite countertops. The decor is nice. The Waterscapes restaurant has delicious lunch and dinner items. The pool area is nice also, with two separate hot tubs. The customer service has been fantastic. We are all happy with our stay and definitely plan to return again.Rooms: Beautiful large suite, nice amenities, nice decorNearby activities: There is SO MUCH TO DO nearby in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle beach. Lots of stores. A ton of restaurants to choose from.Food & drinks: Waterscapes restaurant has really good food and very nice customer service.

The hotel is a bit older, but the grounds and the inside are pretty with great views. There is also plenty of parking. However, outside of that I was a bit disappointed with my stay overall. The front desk workers were very friendly, but in multiple attempts to call room service, we never got through. We left a message the afternoon before for it and got a call the next morning at 7AM waking us up as they were returning the call. Lastly, the rooms were pretty dated and we had black mold growing from the showers. This sounds to be a common occurrence with all the rooms. Overall, for the price per night this was a bit disappointing.

I stayed at this hotel mainly out of convenience as a training I was attending was on-site. The room was clean, a little bit of damage from years of abuse. The wifi was spotty, and the cable had multiple interruptions - not a big problem, but inconvenient when trying to wind down at night. The property is beautiful - the outdoor pool has a very neat layout. I was told the food from the bar is good, but did not have a chance to try it. I would recommend staying here.
