I was super happy with the service I received from Honest Tom s. I used the previous business for years so it was a great surprise that this company is great too! They work on domestic & foreign cars which is great. The price was fantastic & staff is friendly. They will be my go to mechanic in North Myrtle Beach.

We arrived in Myrtle Beach after driving from Ontario. Driving thru the Mountains, we noticed a knocking underneath our car. We took it to Honest Tom's Auto Care immediately. We dealt with Ben and he was absolutely amazing. We needed to replace a bearing. They ordered the part but kept us posted daily on the work on our car. Once they put on the new part, they realized that out brakes were in poor shape and also, that the lug nuts weren't tightened properly. We had our brakes checked and tires rotated before we left Ontario and was assured they were fine. Ben and the mechanics changed our brakes and tightened the lug nuts for us. If not for Honest Tom's, we're not sure we would have made it back to Canada safely. Thank you all! We greatly appreciate you all.Jim and Margaret Walker

Honest Tom's more than lives up to its name, they bested what they promised and in a very timely manner. We had an agreed upon price and then upon delivery they were nearly 500$ under what they quoted and exactly what we wanted! If you are looking for an auto shop whether you are local or from out of town, this is the place to go!

On a drive from New York to Myrtle Beach for spring break with my kids, my tailpipe cracked. It was a horrible drive and I had no idea what to do. Then I found Honest Tom s!!! They were awesome. Not only did they fix my car, they did it in an hour and were reasonably priced!! Life savers!!!

Recently had service on my 2021 Ford Explorer. Honest Tom s provided me with quick, professional and courteous results. All work was performed as promised. Their use of technology to show me what was needed and why was very impressive.I highly recommend Honest Tom s for all of your automative needs.

Honest Tom s gave a detailed breakdown of what was wrong with the vehicle, and exactly what the cost would be for the repair. I am very pleased with how quickly the repair went, as well as the courtesy of the staff. From what I ve experienced, I would highly recommend this company.

First off, let me just say, these guys are absolutely remarkable. I can't say enough about what a blessing they were to me and my family. My daughter, who was 6 hours away from home, broke down while on vacation, and was in a total panic of what to do. Being a father that far away from his girl who was scared, unsure, and didn't know what she was going to do, is the most helpless feeling in the world. But God. He answered our prayers and led me to Honest Tom's Auto Care, while searching online. Ben comforted not only me, but my daughter and her friend while they immediately started working on her car. I can't tell you how relieved I was to speak to someone so helpful, genuinely concerned, and quick to fix the vehicle. They did it so fast, and I know that they prioritized us because he could hear the urgency in my voice. If there was something bigger than a 5 star, I'd give it. Thank you guys so much. And if I'm ever in the area, I'm bringing you guys a gift. What a gift y'all have been to me and my wife. Can't thank you enough! - Jimmy

UPDATE 3/2024Returned for a battery issue. Honest Tom's took it right away late on a Friday. (I wanted to get it in line since I didn't want to have to jump it again.) They let me know it would be Monday before they could get to it. I said "sounds good to me". Monday morning he had it finished and it was just the battery. He informed me about the battery warranty as well.2/2024I sure am glad I found this shop. Owner is very knowledgeable and personable. He had my brakes done in 24hrs. Walked right in and picked it up the next morning.

The team at Honest Tom's Auto Care in North Myrtle Beach took the time to properly evaluate the problem with my VW and determine the best solution. Ben communicated with me often and was extremely agreeable about answering every one of my questions. I will take my car back to Honest Tom's, as needed, without hesitation.

We were out of towers, in Myrtle Beach on vacation, when our check engine light came on. We needed to replace the thermostat. Gt worked us in, did the needed repair in one day, and picked me up and took me home so I didn't have to wait. Bonus, the charge was right in line with what I would have expected from my regular mechanic at home. Great shop, great people. Highly recommend them!

The folks at GT Auto Works did yeoman's work to accomplish steering and suspension work on our vehicle in time for our return from vacation after a collision incident just a few days before. Dave made the work a priority and did a great job for us. Outstanding service, was in from out of town, took my car somewhere else they said it was catalytic converters, special order and couldn't even do it. So I took it to GT and Larry said no way! it just needs a tuneup. And he was right on. Tuned up and runs like a champ. Thank you GT

My favorite mechanic in town. Everyone that works here is friendly, knowledgeable, and greets you with a smile. Their prices can't be best. They do their best to fit in walk-ins. I've been going to GT for over 6 years now and highly recommend them for all your auto needs.
