This place is the BEST, and Sean and Ryan, clearly auto pros of the highest caliber, are the BEST. When they serviced my car today, I discovered how they earned their name and why they come so highly recommended. I felt valued and I felt heard. They take their time with their clients; they explain everything and offer options; there s no pressure and no scare tactics just informed input from expert-level technicians; and they'll do whatever they can to give you a fair, reasonable price. In this day and age of abominable customer service, inflated prices, and poor quality, Honest Auto has earned my trust and renewed my faith in a local small business that still cares enough to go the extra mile.

I have a 2010 Equinox and Ryan has been the most honest mechanic I have ever met. He knows about all kinds of vehicles and is always very polite. I just had my AC fixed and it was done in one day.

I can't say enough about Honest Auto service. This is a two-man operation offering minimal wait time for service. I've never seen such a clean automotive repair shop. They are truly an honest operation demonstrating knowledge and skill along with professionalism and personalized service. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. Their service is top of the line with reasonable pricing.

I have been going to Ryan for service on my car for the last five years. I can say that I have been very pleased with the work they do. They let me know before they do anything the cost and approximate time involved. They are thorough, fair and trustworthy. The only place I take my car to have it worked on. Ryan is a straight shooter. If he can't fix your car he will recommend someone else that will do a great job.

My wife & I needed to get our used (new to us) 2003 Ford Escape checked out...Drove to our usual repair shop & discovered to our dismay,that they were no longer there...Those guys always treated us great-expert repairs @ very honest prices.Never tried to sell us anything we did'nt need.We were thinking maybe they had just moved their shop,called the phone number we had for them-no longer in service.Looked them up on Google & discovered that they had indeed closed & the owners had moved.Looked @ one another & said "we gotta find somebody that does good work & is as honest as they were.Googled "honest auto mechanics in Myrtle Beach area"....Honest Auto was the first to come up & we saw nothing but 5 Star reviews & they were just a couple of minute drive from where we were so we went over to talk to them.They did an inspection of the Escape,took it for a drive & our immediate impression was that they made us feel as welcome & @ home as our old shop did.Scheduled some work & were really impressed with their clean shop,quality of their work,their friendliness & professionalism.. ..When we got the bill,everything was just as they told us.These guys are THE BEST !!!

Having moved to the area from the northeast it was difficult to find a reputable and professional auto repair facility. Basically one I could trust. Unless I have a warranty I have always preferred to patronize smaller auto repair businesses. After asking around, Honest Auto came highly recommended by several people. Having used them for some auto issues I was not disappointed. In fact, on one occasion, they went beyond what I expected while diagnosing a potential issue with my Ford F150. If you want personalized service and a professionally completed job I would recommend Honest Auto.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I am a snow bird and my windshield washer motor went up in my ford flex. I called these guys and told them what I thought was wrong based on my own diagnosis. And they gave me a quote and it was exactly what they quoted me. Thank you guys!

Took my 2002 4Runner to Willy to replace the timing belt and water pump, had my own parts. Willy said it would be no problem installing my own parts when other places hung up on me when I told them I had my own parts. He was very FRIENDLY, FAST, PROFESSIONAL, and POLITE. Very satisfied with his work. Not to mention the price he charged me actually ended up being lower than the price he quoted me over the phone. Very Honest. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family.

Can't really ask for more from a mechanic !I'm from out of town and needed a place that understood what my mechanic told me to get done- and we are on a budget so I needed it done fairly .They did exactly what I needed, told me a few tips for down the road, charged me fairly, and were super nice. Really good impression. They also pulled my car in right when I got there (I had made an appt, but it was really helpful they started working on it when they said they would since I had my baby with me.)Not sure what more you could want! Customer service isn't everything (fair prices and a good job matter too) but it makes a HUGEEEE difference.

This is honestly (pun intended) one of the best auto services I have ever visited! They got my car all fixed up in such a timely manner! The guys there were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We just moved here from Illinois and we were in search of a mechanic that was not going to create more work then what was really needed to be done. We tried a place in Conway and to no surprise that's what happened. They did stuff on our vehicle that didn't even need to be done and also created problems that they could not fix. We stumbled upon Ryan and Shawn at Honest Auto. I can "Honestly" say, walking into this place completely gun shy and having a hard time trusting anybody with our cars, these guys are the real deal. Ryan and Shawn both, kept us up to date on their findings and discussed what would need to be done to fix the issues. Communication is key and we were able to make an informed decision at an reasonable price. We cannot recommend Honest Auto's stellar communication, experience and prices enough. Thanks guys and we are glad we found a home for our automotive repairs.

Ryan called me back right away. He was too busy to get me in that day but offered to let me come over and have him evaluate the sound it was making. Once he did and decided it was a bigger repair than he does, he referred me to someone else. They were gracious to let me hang out while waiting for a tow truck and Uber. I am confident they would be upright, trustworthy and I would definitely call Honest Auto for future needs.

We have been going here for years. It's a small business, the owner and another mechanic, and they truly are honest.There have been a number of times they could have scammed me and told me the presenting problem would entail major part replacements costing a lot of money. Instead, the fix was simple costing nothing or about $20.Also, they will not try to upsell you or convince you into getting other repairs.

After a couple UNhonest experiences elsewhere, we were so very grateful to find Honest Auto. These guys uphold their name of being HONEST ! They don't overcharge, they patiently explain everything well, they are timely and just all around great guys ! Very honest! living by their name. Could've rip us off for new brakes but instead told us what was really wrong and instead of $400 it would be $40. Now, most people would think they are stupid for doing that but I think is genius because I will need brakes in a few months and they will have my business. There are four cars in our household that always need one thing or another so they got it!! Thanks for not trying to take advantage of us and for fixing the real problem.

I wish we found this place after going to three dealerships. Honest, diagnosed the problem and would have fixed the issue if they had the computer to program the new part. Seems like good straight forward people to deal with.

Fantastic place. I work in an extremely demanding industry and travel. I HAVE to have a car. Through a series of unfortunate events, I was left with a broken car and no one available to even give me a ride. These amazing people picked the part up, had it there by the time I arrived, and got me in and out in under an hour (broken swat bar... Or missing, rather) and did it for half the price the first place I called was going to charge me *just to look at it*... Can't recommend this place enough. I've got my parents and extended family that moved down here and we haven't been able to find a great mechanic - until now. They absolutely live up to their name and have made some loyal customers because of it!

Was referred to honest auto by someone I know. Took my 2009 clk 350 to them with a issue about abs system. They started from scratch and it was only a sensor issue. Minor repair. I am sure from past experiences in myrtle beach someone would have ripped me offf with a larger bill. Both guys there were a pleasure to talk to. I have 3 cars in my family I have now found a good mechanic. Thank you James Cesaria

I couldn't find anyone in Myrtle beach who would touch my Lotus but these guys do their homework and they got the job done. The best thing is that they covered my floor and seats and when I left there wasn't a single fingerprint on my car so if You are picky and careful with your car then this is the place, the shop is not junky and full of things that will scratch your car, its open, clean and neat. Im glad I found them. Besides the dealer that is 6 hours away, these guys are the only ones that will touch my car around here.
