Always good service. We have taken our two cars there for 6 years. Each experience was fine. They try to get things done in a timely manner. The location is good because I can walk to get something to eat or drink instead of just hanging out in their waiting room.

Great service and every staff member that I had interaction with was very friendly! I purchased a BMW battery for my 2015 435I convertible and had them install it. the cost was $354 for the battery and labor included. The local BMW dealership quoted me $420 so the savings was approximately 20% less than the dealer.

Had my 2019 Ram 2500 diesel in for new tires, front brakes, oil change and overall checkup. Ouch! used the Firestone 6 month to pay plan. People here are great. One fellow even recognized my BGSU (Bowling Green State University) sweat shirt. Highly recommend.

I sent my teenage daughter with her car there and specific instructions on the work order. They did not rotate the tire as asked. They performed an alignment with one new and one old tire on the front since they did not rotate the tires. There is no way that one tire and an alignment should be close to $500.00 with a $20.00 off coupon. They saw a little girl coming and they overcharged / oversold her on everything. How disappointing!

Tom and Cody were lifesavers. My battery was dying and I called on a Friday night 15 minutes before closing. I planned to drop my car off and pick it up the next day. Tom called back and said that they could have a battery delivered and get me back on the road the same evening. They ended up saving me time and money from Ubering back and forth the next day. They stayed late and made sure I was good to go! Thank you for your great service, and going above and beyond!

They diagnosed my issue and installed a new battery within about an hour. The staff was friendly and kept me informed while I was waiting. A very friendly staff and they kept me informed as to what was happing as I waited. Will return again

Came in to see if there was a problem with my breaks because I was hearing a squeaking noise and was told It was something to do with my suspension. Was told they would order the parts that day and would get it fixed. Then they proceed to tell they sent the wrong part not once but twice. So I end up waiting 4 hours for them to tell me they will not have the part until tomorrow afternoon so I will not be getting my car back because they took the old parts off and can not put them back on. So I then have to Uber home and have no ride to work tomorrow, thanks Firestone! Once I paid my credit card off, I am canceling it and will never do business with Firestone again!

UPDATE:Went to Firestone again for check engine light on. For the most part, everything went well other than having to wait an extra day for a part to come in.Once again, they left my car with oil and marks all over the inside and outside. They don t use plastic coverings over the seats either, so my seats have marks on them from the guys sitting in it with dirty clothes. Everything else was fine but I do not appreciate my car being left this way.See pictures below.OLD:Service was great. I got everything done that I needed without any issues. Austin and all the other guys were helpful and answered my questions thoroughly.The only problem I have is their negligence inside my car. I had recently detailed my car myself, and upon them finishing with my car, I noticed the marks inside that they left.

Took my 06 Tundra in for routine maintenance. An unfortunate series of events caused the radiator and fan to need replacing. Not faulting Firestone at all, it may have just been a matter of time. Trey and Jeff couldnt have been nicer with getting it resolved.I havent been to a chain auto shop before where they actually listened to me explain specifics about my truck. Nor have I had other places provide this level of service.Also, they didn't try to push additional services like other shops have done to me in the past.Definitely recommend this Firestone on Loyola drive in Myrtle Beach.

Took our 93 Jeep wrangler in for an oil change and a going over. Was pleased with the results. However I always thought tire dealers checked tire air pressure. Apparently someone forgot to.

Came in for an alignment, the guy was incredibly rude and angry that my truck had a leveling kit but never said he couldn't align it. So 2 hours later I get it back and the guy said he "did his best, but if I take my level out he can get it perfect," so I get in the truck and it drives a million times worse than when I brought it in and started making a ton of noises. The next day while driving, I was coming to a stop at a traffic light and my whole front left wheel shifted and my steering wheel was completely unaligned... Took it to Black's tire on 3rd avenue and it took him three hours to fix everything that guy did at Firestone, the control arms were loose, and camber, caster, and toe were all completely off, but now its driving perfect and everything's tight with no noises! I strongly recommend to avoid this place with your hard earned money! They're poor excuses for mechanics and will treat your vehicles with no respect!Service: Steering & suspension repair

They went above and beyond trying to get my alignment completed. But bc the truck has.a bad rack and pinon. The steering wheel is now at a 80 degree angle. But I took it back and they tried again to no success. I appreciated their service and trying to remedy the situation! I would recommend them!

If you are going to get an oil change here, go online and look up Firestone coupon codes. I got my oil changed for $29 instead of almost $75.

They did a great job. We blew a tire late last night and eased the car into Firestone after hours. The tire was off the rim. Tray gave a a great deal on 2 tires. We discussed all of our common sense options. They were fast, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We went ahead and did a few other small maintenance suggestions. The whole staff was awesome and a great price on 2 top tire.

The best around! I came in for a full tune-up, and received great service. They were a little short-handed, and even stayed 30 minutes after closing to finish my vehicle and to help someone who came in as I was checking out, when they were stranded with a flat tire. Great guys, excellent service !

rude employees, rude manager, liars, will try and take advantage of your lack of knowledge when it comes to servicing your vehicle. don t even bother taking anything higher up, they don t give a care in the world. i ve learned my lesson, i will shop local. i recommend harry s on 3rd ave for all your tire needs

I took my car in for an alignment and was told I needed a new lower control arm and ball joint. With a 10% discount it would cost $1000 before the alignment and they wouldn't touch it unless I did the replacement. I told them to bring the car down and I would get a second opinion. The next shop I took it to looked at it, and saw a bolt was loose. They tightened it, tested it out and said everything was secured and good. Looking at other reviews now, it seems they like to throw this same line out to a lot of people. Get a second opinion if they say more needs to be done

I had some issues with my repairs initially but the employees went above and beyond to make things right. The people who work at this location are genuinely good individuals. I feel like they truly cared about my experience and they were incredibly kind and proficient. I am extraordinarily pleased with the hard work they put into my vehicle. They got the vehicle back to me more quickly than I thought would be possible and they helped me understand a process that can be very confusing. I am extremely grateful for their help and the car is actually working better than I expected.

This location is disorganized and poorly run. Communication is a definite weak spot. I called ahead the day prior to schedule an appointment for a TPM calibration and a brake light bulb to be changed (I had this done at Firestone for the opposite brake bulb 1.5 months prior). I asked to ensure the bulb I needed was in stock and the man on the phone informed me that "we keep all bulbs in stock". As this took <30 minutes at my last visit, I came prepared to wait. After an hour, I was told the bulb was not in stock and we were waiting on it to arrive. After waiting 2 hours, I was informed that they couldn't change my bulb, "we tried, but the bulb wouldn't fit your vehicle." It was incredibly strange considering I had it done just under 2 months prior without an issue at the same location. I went out to my vehicle to find my TPM was not calibrated either. I will be taking my business south to Murrells Inlet or north to Myrtle Beach (who in fact changed my bulb without any issues two days later). I called Customer Service requesting an apology. I was told I would hear from the store manager within 48 hours. I never heard back (this entire incident happened over a week ago now). Very poor customer service. Absolute waste of time with very little remorse or regard.

Came in for alignment center for an hour then told they weren't going to do it said parts were loose and was leaking oil told them obviously it's a 1998 Ford Explorer. If you value your time and money don't come here

I previously rated this store as a 5 star...... unfortunately this has changed today.My truck sat here today for 7 hours to get a tire patched. I called at hour 6 and they said they were just waiting for a bay to open to get to it. I arrived at the 6.5 hour mark and they were just pulling it into a bay. While patching the tire, they found a second screw in it. As a result of this lengthy repair, I have to reschedule another appointment.

I had a vehicle over there a few months ago and they said it need new control arms cool, fine and dandy. Ordered the parts online and something told me to go get a second opinion and sure enough control arms are fine. Called back and they said the place you took it to must have no idea what they are talking about. I left well enough alone and took it somewhere else if I have issues with it.Fast forward to today,I called a few places around and they couldn t get the car in today. So I decide against my better judgement and bring it back over to Firestone in hopes of having better luck today. Boy was I wrong, I dropped it off after 2:00 and said it needs an oil change and if you have the time a tire rotation and an alignment, but if not possible to get it all done then we will pick it up and bring it back another time because he needs the car tomorrow for work. Fast forward to 6:30, no call to let us know car is done nothing. My husband calls and is told car is not done and it needs lower control arms once again. I asked if there was anyone that could put the tires back on it because he needs the vehicle for work tomorrow. He gets put on hold and says no all of the technicians have already left. I m fuming at this point not only did they not listen to what I said when I first dropped it off and just done an oil change they failed to contact us to let us know the vehicle would not be done this evening.I can have a better conversation with my three year old then this place and she will actually listen. Would not recommend this place to anyone, waste of time and waste of money.

First let me say that I have been using the Firestones in the Myrtle Beach area for over 30 years. When the Surfside one opened I started using them and have always been very satisfied with their work, until recently. About 2 months ago I was told that I needed new brakes so I let them put them on. Later that day as I was driving down the road the brakes started squealing, so I called the shop. I was told that that happens sometimes with new brakes to give it a week or two to see if it stopped. After about 2 weeks they were still squealing very bad, so I went back by. They supposedly fix them but they started squealing again. Not long after that, with the brakes still squealing, all of my brake lights, the ABS light, traction light, and brake light came on. I immediately took it to the Surfside Firestone. The brakes were still squealing and now all of the lights were on, I am convinced that something was done in error. Firestone charged me $99 to diagnose the ABS, which I do not believe I should have been charged because evidently there is a problem with the brakes that they have not fixed, or a sensor was knocked loose while attempting to fix the brakes. I was later informed that The issue was unrelated to the new brakes that had been put on. I found this hard to believe because I had not had any problem at all with my brakes until Firestone put on the new ones and it has been trouble ever since. It cost me $250 to fix this issue, that is on top of what I'd already paid for the brakes. Now here it is weeks afterwards and my brakes are squealing again. Guess I'm going to have to take it to another shop and spend more money to get it fixed the right way. Sad that after over 30 years, I will never use Firestone again. These bad reviews are there for a reason!Service: Brakes

I have been going to them for years and they always take great care of my car. They never try to sell me anything I don't need done to my car. They're wonderful people!! I highly recommend them!
