Phillipe went above and beyond to help me and I really cannot thank him enough for taking time out of his busy schedule to do so! He communicated via text with me throughout the day because I was at work and couldn't talk, a long with that he also stayed later at the dealership just so I could test drive my new vehicle. My work schedule is crazy and he worked around that for me! He is an amazing guy and his customer service is above the rest!

I always have had great service @ East Coast. David & Allen always take great care in explaining cost and services rendered. I do think the cost is quite high. Coupons don t seem to be enough. Being quoted 50k mile checkup over $1000 is questionable. This is my 3rd car from East Coast. Would like it to continue. KR

I have never felt a strong sense of transparency or trustworthiness at this dealership. My latest visit there confirmed my uneasiness. I had an appointment to have my oil changed and brakes inspected. Upon arrival, the service agent quoted my service for an oil change, tire rotation and 40, 000 mile service to the tune of $785 (give or take).The sheet he showed indicated the 40K mile service was $1399 so presumably I was being offered a "great" discount down to $785. Additionally, I had never requested any other service other than an oil change and brake inspection. I stood my ground and told him to simply perform the services requested. As I sat in the waiting area, I observed several interactions between customers and service agents. One customer was told that they seriously needed an oil change... they replied that they had their oil changed 2 weeks ago. Another customer was told that 'something (couldn't hear) had been leaking and it was empty. The entire unit needed replaced. The customer stated that there were no leak stains or evidence of leaks where the car is parked 80% of the time. Then my time came, I was told that upon inspection my tires needed rotated. I told him that they had just been rotated 3 months ago where I purchased the tires. He told me that since they had the tires off, they would go ahead and rotate them at no charge as if that was a courtesy. An hour later, I was texted information about what needed immediate attention because it did not pass inspection. There were 2 filters that supposedly needed replaced. I approved the replacement via text. Then I read the actual inspection report and both filters had passed the inspection. I approached the service agent and questioned him. He gave me some vague and random response saying that it was ironic that the technician gave different responses in two different areas....it made no sense. I conceded because at this point I had been there for 2 hours and we were only talking about $150. It wasn't worth my time to debate.Two additional behaviors really stuck with me.One is that there is now an acquisition office by the waiting area (used to be a kids area). Those of us in the waiting area can hear the conversations taking place in there. I heard comments between associates that were appalling. One guy said," thank god, I got another sucker". There were others with foul language.The other behavior that offended me was that while I was at the dealership, I wanted to walk around the showroom and the lot. Both for exercise and looking at possible new car purchases. My car is almost 7 years old, has less than 40,000 miles on it and is in excellent condition. I wanted to explore options 'lightly'. I was attacked by vultures every step of the way. I was annoyed and angry by the aggressiveness. I work in sales and understand the art of selling, servicing & closing the deal. These vultures are not properly trained on reading a customer. I retreated to the waiting area after 15 minutes and will most likely never look for a future purchase at this dealership. It's not comfortable.

I just bought a Volkswagen Atlas and had the best experience! Irvin Gonzalez helped me SO much and I truly appreciate it. He had been helping me since August, and even though it took me 5 months to be ready to pull the trigger, he did not give up on me nor push me to do it sooner. He and the rest of the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Very clean dealership too! Highly recommend! Thank you, Irvin!

My Wife & I had an awesome car buying experience. Everyone here is very nice and helpful with any questions you may have. They aren't just all about selling a car and getting you out the door. They are all about getting you into something you want at a price you can afford. Our experience at East Coast Volkswagen was wonderful. Buying a car can be stressful and usually is but not this time. We pulled up to the dealership and started browsing the lot looking at the Atlas. In a few minutes we were greeted by Matt Joyce. Matt was in no hurry, he let us browse and told us about the Atlas models so we were more educated on the car. Once we started zeroing in on a car he offered a test drive. We agreed and about 3 test drives later we found the one. The negotiations were quick and very favorable and Matt was truly an advocate for us. The Sales Manager was equally nice and we ultimately felt very good about our purchase. If Matt's available I would ask for him, he is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He has also been available for any questions that have come up regarding our new Atlas.

Everything about this dealership was 5-stars! We are from the Northern OBX and came to Myrtle Beach on a short vacation. Our 23 Tiguan needed an alignment after 34K miles in a year and they by far beat out pricing of our local store back home! They were fast, honest, and easy to work with!While here, we have been in the market for a second vehicle. We had the pleasure of talking with Destiny Clement and can t recommend her enough! She was friendly, approachable, our son LOVED her and she made the buying process seem flawless! I ve bought over 10 vehicles from a dealership and this was the best experience. Every sales person truly made us feel welcome.Kudos to management at this store! It starts at the top and these staff members have really showed up and shown out!

After damage to my Chevy HHR, I had to buy a car. Phillipe Dufour and Sean were super to me and helped me more then you can imagine. My insurance check was a little slow coming in, but they persevered on my behalf. Today I can say I am the proud owner of a beautiful 2024 Cornflower blue Volkswagen Taos. Thank you all for the hometown welcome I received. Every single time I went through the door I felt very comfortable. I was never pressured as with some of the other dealorships. My Taos is Sporty yet practical. I love it!!!!!! Thank you for a great job! If you are in the market for a good deal on an excellent car visit East Coast Volkswagen.

Searching purchasing this vehicle, for my daughter has been the easiest experience at a dealership we ve ever experienced. Irvin Was completely on top of it, and so professional as we do not live in Myrtle Beach. He provided details on each vehicle we were looking at until we found the right fit. Irvin Totally listened to what we were looking for and how much money we had to spend and stuck within Our budget! Jordan also assisted in explaining what the additional warranties, etc. would provide. The whole experience was class act. The car was delivered in a timely manner, and the gentleman were also very professional. I have already given their name out to my cousin, who is looking for a vehicle for his daughter

I brought my Audi to East Coast as there is not a local Audi dealer. They had me in and out in an hour for an oil change and tire rotation. To my surprise I came out to my car sparkling from a wash.Great and friendly dealership and service dept.

Great Service. Turned my maintenance visit around quickly. I then left but immediately returned because I had an issue with my radio. They fixed the problem in 5 minutes. Also there was a screw missing on my License plate which they promptly fixed. Very Professional and friendly.

Let me just start out by saying my experience was amazing. I have worked with Irvin, and between him and John who is part of the management team we ended up making a deal! I had several other deals that were taking place however one I was waiting to be off the truck the other was a 2022. These guys at Volkswagon were able to get me into a 2023 VW Taos with no problem. While I was out here messing around with other car dealerships for a good couple of weeks, I should have went straight to VW! The only thing I regret is that I didn t give them a chance sooner! These guys will do there best, and work hard to get you into the car you want AND meet your payment requirement! I traded my 2019 Kia Soul that had 92,000 miles (give or take) and they still got me the deal I went in for! I highly recommend these guys! Everyone was friendly, professional, understanding, considerate, and had overall the best integrity I ve seen at any other dealership! Also another salesman I would like to recommend is Ed he helped the day Irvin was not available! He explained all the features of the car, took me on a test drive, got my car appraised, and answers any questions I had all in a hour due to me having a meeting to get to! I will not be taking my service anywhere else, and the next car I get later on will hands down be a VW again!

Great dealership. Made leasing our new Jetta fast and enjoyable. They had a surprising mount of inventory so we actually had a choice of cars. Their pricing was fair as was the trade in value I got for our old Jetta. Best VW dealer we have ever worked with!

My salesperson George did a fantastic job across several visits to ensure I got into a vehicle I loved. The rest of the staff was professional and courteous as well. At first I was put off by the "market adjustments" but after seeing markups added to vehicles in other, more "subtle" ways (read that sneaky) at other dealerships I became more comfortable with the practice, and the transparency of how it's done at East Coast.

I have been with East Coast Volkswagen for about 4-5 years now and when I say wonderful service! Big shout out to Mr. George and Mr. Robert for their help with getting my new 2019 Jetta. I am so in love with my car!!! Just got my oil changed yesterday and my appointment was at 10:30 got out around 11:15-11:20 at the latest, Absolutely wonderful! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking appointments when it comes to servicing your vehicle. Outstanding Volkswagen, keep up the good quality!!!!

Visting from Ohio my Passat started having problems. I generally try to use my local mechanic but needed some work done to even get home. My experience working with Alan and the service team has been outstanding -- they diagnosed 9 different problems, determined 2 were covered by VW warranty, called my private warranty company also, and gave me very honest advice about which repairs should really be done now. Carbon cleaning while they repair the fuel intake saves money. Coolant should be flushed but needn't be today. Same for tires and alignment. Filters were gross and we replaced em. All in all I feared a big repair bill but these guys did not push me to do all the repairs AT ALL. My best experience ever working with a dealership for service. And they are making an effort to get things fixed fast to allow me to get back to Ohio. 10 stars

In my 22years living in this area I have bought or leased a minimum of 15 vehicles and never have been charged for tire rotation with an oil change. Your prices are exorbitant!$112 for my first maintenance . And at the same time you are offering to buy the car at 30% depreciation for an 11 month old car!! I can go to Carmax and get 5-7000 more. I would entertain a fair offer if I could get into something with a lower interest rate. Sorry tone rambling but I m very disappointed !!

Every aspect of purchasing a vehicle at East Coast VW of Myrtle Beach was five star. Sales team was professional and knowledgeable, finance department was easy to work with, and dealership even delivered the car to me in NC. I would not hesitate to work with this dealership again. I have purchased many cars and this was by far the best experience I have ever had.

My door handle was broken when l the got my car back. It wasn't broken when I had the car towed there. I sent my car to East Coast Volkswagen to have my keys programmed because I lost my car keys. They did a fine job with the keys but between Quality towing and Volkswagen someone broke my door latch and no one wants to take responsibility sad.

From the sales manager to my salesperson David Collins (DC) I had a perfect purchasing experience. This is my 2nd Tiguan! Love the new 2024 & 0% interest rate! The dealership did not have the exact Tiguan I wanted on the lot, however they located one and had it there within 24hrs!

Charlie greeted me as I got out of my car and was so professional, friendly and ready to help! Alan to was so helpful and right at my car door to take my keys and car right away. My was new battery was installed in less than a half hour! These two men made me know that I was in the right place to have my car problem solved.

Perhaps it is because there is only one dealership in the area that we are not satisfied with the VW dealership in Myrtle Beach. It takes me approximately 45-60 minutes to bring my car(s) in for If I started recently and go backwards, the last appointment had to be escalated to VW Corporate. All problems have not been resolved. East Coast had the vehicle for a week. We have owned three VW's over the past 4 years and have been disappointed in the quality and service.

The customer service is above and beyond! Couldn t ask for a nicer experience. I have only been there once before ( and purchased car in a different state), and they greet me like I am their favorite person! Every single member of the service team greets and speaks to you.
