It has been over 5 years since I sent in a review for Cherry Grove Automotive, so I figured it was time for an update. CGA has taken care of our 3 family vehicles for almost 30 years now. Some of the faces have changed over the years, but the great service with a friendly and professional attitude remains constant. Big Ray and the entire crew do an outstanding job! Trust and reliability are so important when choosing who will work on your vehicles. It is such a blessing to know that we can totally trust and rely on the crew at Cherry Grove Automotive! Thanks Guys!

This garage saved me.Broke down on vacation, AAA tow truck driver recommended Cherry Grove Automotive and I'm great ful. They fixed my Mini Cooper (Billie's Mini) with spread and amazing custom service. Tim gave us crazy Canadians a ride to pick up my car and was a charming kind man.Thank y'all for your service and I appreciate your help.Billie

We recently moved into a new housing development in Little River, SC. We received the traditional "welcome" pack in the mail with coupons to the local businesses. One of the coupons was for a free oil and filter change at Cherry Grove Automotive. This past week I took my car there for an oil change. I also needed the tires rotated. The man behind the counter could not have been more welcoming. I presented him with the coupon and told him I needed a synthetic blend oil as that is what the manufacture called for. He said no problem (BTW - the coupon was for regular oil and stated that there would be an upcharge for synthetic). This was fully understandable.I took a seat in the waiting room. In about 45 minutes the man came in and said my car was ready and there was "no charge" and the coupon took care of it all. I was totally shocked. He said to come back again and I replied that I absolutely would.Now this is how to run a business and gain customer loyalty. Without question I will take both my vehicles to Cherry Grove Automotive for their maintenance needs. My experience was nothing but positive.I highly recommend Cherry Grove Automotive.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My husband is no longer able to take care of the car and I depend on the mechanics at Cherry Grove to keep my car in good shape. I am very happy with their services.

The crew at Cherry Grove Auto are amazing. Everything about my appointments have been top notch from friendly smiles to expert diagnosis. I will not trust my vehicle to anyone else. If you re new to the area or just looking for a reliable mechanic, stop looking and check these guys out. You will not be disappointed.

I love having my car serviced by Cherry Grove Automotive. They stick to your appointment time. The guys at the front desk are friendly and cordial. They don t try to fix things that don t need fixing. The waiting room is comfortable and clean.

Great customer service. Clean waiting area and bathroom with free coffee and popcorn. We had an amazing female mechanic that got us patched up enough to get us home to Charlotte. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I needed a starter (I purchased my own starter) installed so searched around town for the best available price and thought cherry grove automative was that place. I received a few quotes ranging from 400$ down to 250$(which was the quote I received from cherry grove automotive with a military discount ). I brought my vehicle in for repair the day prior as instructed with all the parts and was told someone will give me a call when the car is complete. I received a phone call the day I was supposed be picking up my car from the manger about an hour before they close stating that his mechanic quoted me the wrong price and that they would not be able to replace the starter for the price quoted. Not only did he not guarantee the price that was quoted he almost tripled the labor cost (from 250$ to 636$). His explanation was the job was more intensive than they thought and that there was rust on my underbody. Being a man of principles and understanding the problem was not with the price because if there was an error of the mechanics behalf that is understandable. The problem is there was no remorse or any attempt to try to make this right because of the mechanic s error and no fault of mine. And to make matters worse I took it to another shop (Pops Garage) and they completed it for 12$ (262$ total) over the 250$ original quote from cherry grove automotive. This saddens me because I live in this community and love supporting locally owed businesses, just wished that cherry grove automotive cherished my business just as much. Thanks for reading this long heart felt review but if you want to save yourself time and stress DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

Since I m a fairly new permanent LRiver resident in NMB area, I was recently referred to Cherry Grove Automotive (CGA) by a family member who has a lot of auto mechanic experience, after asking him for some recommendations of a few local auto places to get my brakes inspected/replaced for my Subaru Crosstrek that seemed to be worn down.He said CGA was one of the few places he prefers to go to for certain repairs cuz he felt they are fair, honest and reliable in the services they provide.So I went to CGA last month n initially met with Robert, who was very friendly, honest and knowledgeable explaining no work would be done on any car until it was thoroughly inspected and then discussed with me to tell me what needs/doesn t need to be repaired.After leaving my car to get inspected, they called me back to come in n confirmed what I thought that my front/back brake pads need to be replaced n showed me how much my pads were worn n showed me what the correct thickness should be to make sure your brakes perform safely.I really appreciated Robert s honesty n time explaining that to me.Compared to a few other places where I got some prior brake repair estimates before going to CGA, CGA s service cost was slightly cheaper/or around current market rate.And with their military discount and AAA members (which we are) discount they offer plus 2 year warranty for the brakes, I felt they were the better choice n gave them the go ahead to get my brakes replaced.So for anyone looking for friendly n honest customer interaction for their automotive repair needs, I definitely recommend going to see Robert n his team at CGA n plan to use their services in the future.

I had a slow leak in one of my tires, unable to find anything in the tire I brought in for them to look at. What a great shop for vehicle repairs. Small town vibe and they really make you feel welcomed. While I waited they were able to find the screw in my tire and repair the leak. All done in and out within 20 minutes, with no charge. I will definitely return for future services. They really know how to treat customers!

Ever had TWO vehicles have an issue at the same time? Cherry Grove Automotive took care of both cars promptly and for a VERY reasonable price! The team at Cherry Grove are a joy to deal with, friendly and professional. It's a BLESSING to have found them! Literally saved my butt when I got a credit card stuck on the inside of my car door and are always so incredibly kind and professional and a pleasure to work with I can t thank them enough. Highly recommend anyone to stop by there.

Southern Hospitality and Professionalism are the first words that come to mind with this business. I found my self in a bind and called around and no one could help for a few days. I called Cherry Grove Automotive and explained my issue, and was told to come right down. They did not have the unique part I needed in the shop, but did not hesitate to call around and find it and go pick it up for me. All staff was personable and knowledgeable. Waiting area was customer friendly with drinks and popcorn. I have found my place that I can trust and that wont take me to the cleaners when I need a repair. Thank you Cherry Grove Automotive!

Such incredible customer service. I highly recommend CGA. I had a nail in my tire, they took my car right away and had it done under an hour. When I picked up the car, they handed my keys to me and told me I was set. Who does that anymore?! Cherry Grove Automotive is my new go to place for all my car needs, it should be yours too! Wow, what a great shop! I had a nail in one of my tires and it was slowly leaking. Brought the car in to get the nail removed and it took 30 mins. They did not charge me which is unheard of! Such kind people who certainly took care of us.

I recently had a car have a major malfunction while on vacation in north myrtle. The staff at this shop saw my desparation as i needed to get home the next day. I had a very random part that was needed and not easy to find in current times. They easily could have taken advantage of the fact that I was from out of town and needed this car fixed. They did not. There wasnt a rental car available for miles so they let me use one of their shop cars to get things done while finishing my vacation.They went above and beyond to get me on the road for a 500 mile drive. I would highly recommend this shop. They were professional and just showed a human quality that is hard to find. I wish they were closer to me I would use them for everything. True southern hospitality and talented mechanics. I can't say enough good things about this shop. Special shout out to Robert and Dustin for the time they took and compassion they showed. The owner of this shop has something special with his staff.

We are more that 16hours away from home and needed rear bearing and break works done. They got us in and we re able to replace them in a day! They also let us use one of their vehicles so they we could still do the things we were planning on doing on our vacation. We highly recommend them for both locals and vacationers. Great customer service all around!!

I have been going here since I moved to SC in 2004. They are always so nice and kind and fair. They try to help you save money anyway they can. They ve even helped me with a car loaner when I had no other way of getting around. Big thanks to Cherry Grove Automotive for getting the golden eagle back on the road. Had to replace the rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads. If you're in Myrtle Beach and need a garage, this is the place. Had a fast leak in our rear passenger tire and they took me in right away on what I'm sure was already a busy Friday morning for them and was able to plug it and have me out of there in under 30 minutes. Listening to their interactions with other customers in my short time there, they were very polite, courteous, honest and knowledgeable. They didn't even want to to charge me, but i insisted on atleast leaving a little something for their coffee fund for their nice lounge area. Can't thank them enough,especially on our last full day here with alot planned with the family that could of been a wash if not for their fast, friendly service. Highly RecommendService: Tires

Carrie was the most helpful person I ever have to take care of my vehicles, I never see before someone so efficient and the mechanic service was so fast!
