My daughter has my old iPhone 8 Plus. She got a piece of her charger stuck inside the port. Took it to Best Buy and T mobile. Best Buy wanted to ship it out. They didn t even try. T mobile couldn t get all of the pieces out. Mike from Batteries and Bulbs got it out in 20 seconds. Saved me $300 from buying her a new IPhone. Love this place.

Bad experience with Batteries Plus Myrtle Beach. With their advice I bought 5 lithium 9V batteries prominently labeled "10 Year Smoke Alarm Battery" at $14.99 each. Tried two, they would not fit garden variety First Alert Smoke Detectors. Cases were 1mm larger than a Walmart 9V and the cover would not close. Took them back and they refunded only the three unopened packages, they would not refund the two that I tried as the clerk said quote "we cannot sell an opened package" unquote. I was out $30 for defective merchandize they would noy make good on. Recommend avoid doing business with that store.

Great! We went there because we thought we needed a battery for our cell phone but he did not sell us one unnecessarily. He saw that our phone had other issues with battery usage and perhaps malware and that's why it kept shutting off. Thank you for your help and we are definitely getting our batteries and bulbs here! A+

Very easy process with starting from the online order to picking up my order. Literally took less than 15 minutes to have a new key cut and programmed for my daughter s vehicle. Fast and friendly service from Mike down at Batteries Plus.

This store had both of the oddball batteries I needed. One was a tiny, uncommon coin cell, the other was a very small cylindrical lithium battery for a clock which had been difficult to find. While Amazon did have both of these, but I didn t want to go that route because 1) for the most part, you need to buy PACKS of them (do I really NEED 5 of a battery each of which lasts years; 2) buyers reported that in these multiple packs, often several of them don t work; 3) they are usually a cheapie unreliable brand; and 4) I could get the batteries immediately

Had an iPhone 12+ having full loss of screen function and we were not feeling very hopeful to have it done day of considering they closed in just a few hours or so. But we got lucky and it was a slow day and we were even luckier to get such a helpful and genuinely great person to help us. His name was Mike and if his employers happen to see this, then Mr. Mike deserves a raise. He was extremely helpful, funny, charismatic and more than willing to make time to have it done by the time they close to go above and beyond. I plan to tell anyone who needs help with their phones, batteries, etc, to go to see you guys. Can t thank the company or the man who took care of us more. Thanks for having such an amazing employee and business model to be so helpful.

Good customer service. The gentlemen came outside to my friends truck and tested the battery. It was shot. He bought a new Energizer brand battery and they installed it right there for him . We were very pleased being my first experience with them. The process was very quick as well!

I went here to have phone repaired. They knew immediately what was wrong. Gave me a price. Told me wouldn t charge if it didn t fix it. Had it fixed within an hourVery professional. Very prompt. Very polite. Very reasonable pricingDale was great! Also the other guy but I forgot his name.

Purchased a bulb for a flashlight yesterday. When I installed it, it did not work. Went back today. They exchanged it without any problem. Anyone can mistakenly sell a defective product. It happens to everyone, with no one at fault. It's how they handle the issue when this happens. Batteries Plus Bubs could not have been more accommodating. Good people. Nice store. Excellent policies.

Called ahead to make sure they had in stock old style fluorescent light bulb I needed. I had all id#'s. They said yes, but bring bulb to match.Drove there and they had no bulbs to match. Wasted trip. They do have lots or choices, but, just go there. Don't rely on phone calls.

What an awesome experience just had! Jack was such an absolute savior. My hybrid car s battery died on me and I was so unaware of how difficult is to find a replacement. He went above and beyond that I imagine to find the right battery and put it in right away. Very pleased with this store!

I had the best experience with the two gentlemen working there on Saturday, November 5th. I had to buy two new marine deep cycle batteries as the application I was using required 800CCA. I spoke to the sales associates about the Core return fee and they worked with me fully understanding my situation. I wish all Batteries Plus Locations had these same sales associates. I won't hesitate to return to this location.

Went there as soon as they open. The counter man was first class professional. Knew exactly what I was asking for . Explained the difference between the types of chargers. So I would know exactly the right one I needed. Even gave me a rebate discount. I was in and out in ten minutes. Up for great service.

Had what I needed. Ordered a car Battery on line got a 10% discount. Had it installed there and the gentleman was very good at what he does. Well informed, never put a battery in a Impala RTZ but did well. Others wanted $20 to install. Took him 5 minutes. Thanks

Mike and Carson are exactly what customer service is all about. I came in with a problem that I thought was going to cost me hundreds to fix. They had me in and out for only a small portion of what I expected. They listened to my challenge and spent no time telling me what they couldn t do and found the best solution for my problem. I even called back to thank them. It reminded me that there are people in customer service that truly care about the customer experience. Thanks guys. Something so small made a world of difference for my mother and I. PET scan is tomorrow. Wish us luck.

I am disgusted by the disrespect for customers here and concerned the materials they use are cheap and fraudulent. I had my iPhone screen fixed on 2/15. They sold me a new tempered glass screen protector and an otter box phone case. On 4/28 my phone dropped off the bathroom counter when I was getting ready in the morning. It fell maybe 3 feet... and the phone screen shattered. The tempered glass was fine and not even scratched, but the actual phone screen underneath is shattered. The bottom left corner doesn t even work, I can t make calls, check emails, or type responses to texts. I went back and explained it has been just a couple months and the phone protector *they* applied, and the phone case *they* sold me, did not protect the screen. Either the products failed or the screen replacement they installed was cheap and fraudulent. The workers said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they would discount the service at the very least since it had been such a short period of time, but the staff continued to blame me and say it was my fault because I dropped the phone. Let me be clear.. I did not slam my phone to the ground or toss it across a room. It simply slipped and dropped. There is no reason the phone should ve shattered with such materials and products they sold me on. It s also very poor business to blame the customer. I will never recommend this business.

People were nice enough and the service was relatively quick( had the screen on my iPhone 7 Plus fixed) however, I wouldn t recommend this place because my screen never worked right from the time they installed it. The guy noticed it as he was doing the post installation inspection and just shrugged it off like my phone not responding to him trying to type on it was no big deal and not related to him changing the screen.. I trusted his judgement and now I regret it.

Today I m leaving the store for the fourth time after getting my screen fixed in one week. First time was a faulty screen I get that it happens. Second time my home button completely failed the day after getting it fixed. Called had a hard reset done with Apple just to check see if it s the software because anyone with an Apple phone knows the software can get messed up. Go and get a third screen only to have the home button not register my finger. Told to come back and see what they can do when I had more time. Come back today to find the guy who was helping me fired and told it was the software and to have a hard reset done even tho it was already done. So not only did they mess up my phone I have never been so disappointed in a customer service staff. When being told the guy who was helping me no longer worked there another employee butts in to tell me he was fired. Then the same guy who never wears a name tag and is always eating when I m in the store 4 different times mind you is talking trash about customers and the fired employee. To top it off continues in front of the store manager dale about the employee and customers and then trashes kids these day saying they are lazy and don t want to work. I am a full time student with a full time job and running a business. I don t call that lazy. Coming from a person who spends a lot of time making sure my customers are happy hearing this I sad an disrespectful to anyone. I do not recommend this store for anything unless you want to leave the store with people talking about you because they have nothing better to do with their own lives.

Paid $100 for a screen repair on Saturday...the following Thursday my phone was simply in my cup holder in my car while I drove did not drop fall or anything screen is broken obviously they are using cheap screens they buy for a few dollars wholesale then ripping people off charging $100 a repair I was hesitant upon drop off as the tech had super creepy long sharp pointy nails (was male) but went ahead anyway well now they won't honor the 30day warranty on the screen! LOL never again will spread this horrible shop as much as I can never again!

When selling--Great, knowledgeable staff. Phone battery only lasted 4 days. I made appointment for Sunday at 11:30 to have my old battery put back in. I told associate that when I had new one installed that the associate that day said to keep old battery just in case. In over 60 yrs of buying items no one every said keep the old one just in case. To many wasted trips there, no apology. Oh well won't buy anything there again.

I stopped by to get the battery changed in my key fob. Martin was the technician who assisted me. He was so accommodating and informative and answered All my questions about the operating system for the key Fob but even more I asked him about security systems and he was so helpful and gave me a lot of advice. I really appreciate this kind of service. I will recommend batteries and bulbs to everyone.

Was a great experience. Placed my order on line and within minutes received a notice that it was ready for pickup. Drove down to their store and they were prompt and courteous. I was back home in a jiffy!! Would definitely send people to do business with them.

I bought a Simple Snap screen protector at Batteries Plus and it was installed by one of their staff. Unfortunately, it is not placed exactly centered and I can see a slight line between the side of the screen protector and the Otter Case. When I reached out to them via email, they were nice enough to offer to take a look and try to get it straighter.It was very professional of them. I have not gone yet, but I will soon, when have time. I just wish they had done it right the first time.

Wayne from your Myrtle Beach store couldn't have been nicer or more helpful to me this morning. The battery I wanted was out of stock and he gave me several options to choose from as a replacement. He installed it for me right there in the parking lot and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Your company(Hell every company), needs more employees like Wayne.
