I had such a great experience at this store. I went in for a battery installation and to check my alternator and starter. Walter was do professional and kind. He installed my battery and performed my diagnostics quickly and efficiently. He did such a good job! This is the only advanced I'm going to.

I needed new wipe blades for my Ford Escape. They installed them quickly. Advance Auto has most of what you need for your car and they can order stuff too. Nice employees.

I needed a new battery for my Rav4 so I stopped in. When they were ringing up my battery I asked if I was getting the refund for the core, the guy at the counter said yes but went ahead and charged me $234 for a battery that he said was the cheapest.So we go outside to have them put in the new battery and the guy takes out the old battery and throws it on the cart, doesn't clean the terminals at all which are very corroded and installs the new battery with dirty terminals.I never got the refund for the core of the old battery. Not really happy. I won't be going back.

After being ASSURED that they only needed my email for "warranty purposes", I am going to leave a 1 star review to a different Advanced Auto Parts every time I get a new marketing email after unsubscribing. This is #3

DO NOT BUY ONLINE. I was charged in full again when I picked up at the store. That caused an outstanding check to bounce which cost me $75 in fees. There's no legitimate reason for it. The whole point of buying online is to be transaction free at pickup. I will not buy again from AAP. There's plenty of other auto parts stores.

I'm a little bit confused about this, so we were pricing parts for the car and then we went with them obviously. That's when the fun begins. He told me that he ended up having to go back and forth 4-5 times over not getting the right part. Then it happened with me and it was the same person that did it to him the first time with the first car we were working on. Never had a issue before this. Make sure you have the right part before you leave if possible.

Staff always helpful and can find the part quickly. The free install for items like batteries is huge especially after normal auto repair shops are closed but Advance is open till 9 pm!! With their help I was able to make it home after 10 hours at the hospital. Thank you!

I will drive past Napa, O Reillys and Auto Zone to get to an Advance. Since I got my first car over 20 years ago it s the best place that I ve found to get friendly and knowledgeable service every time no matter which location or state I m in.

Guy told me I could only buy a certain kind of battery for my car. Cost me $243. To later find out I could have gotten a few different kinds for under $100. Not nice to take advantage of people. Will never go to this location again.

Called to verify they had the part I needed, was told yes we have it, drove out of my way to get it, only to be told sorry we don't have it, very disappointed I wasted a trip

They give a 10% Military discount, which is appreciated. They get 4 stars for that reason. The guy who waited on us was terse & acted like it was a major inconvenience to help us.We were told by someone who knows him to ask for him to receive excellent service!

Went in eaoer today I asked for price on a set of brake pads for my truck the guy at the counter tried selling me rotors and all when all I asked for was pads for the front and rear an was only given one set of pads when I specifically asked for front and rear and was only sold the front set

Couldn't find what I needed. Why can't a parts person look up something besides knowing what vehicle or motor size. I plainly ask for a front pump seal for a 4l60e transmission. It comes in the 82 and up models. The staff was the best its just the site yall got pulls the parts rite up and say available in store.But the stores can't find it.I even went to advance and O'Reilly same problem

The sales associates were great at customer service. They helped me to diagnose s problem with my car. My parts were in stock. The prices are better than those at Auto Zone. Worth checking out for all.

Walked in and got helped immediately! Had the brake pads I needed within minutes. Sales person even explained why I should upgrade in a language I could understand, so I did. Out the door quickly. It was awesome.

They had what I needed and the staff was helpful. The area is very busy and there was excessive traffic due to the bridge being lifted. It took me forever to get here.

My 5 stars has to do with it being an access point to go get your package that was supposed delivered to your door.. Once I checked my email "wandering where's my phone it was supposed to be here 2 days ago" , it informed me that Advance Auto Parts recieved it, date, time, and to whom accepted my package that they delivered to, why? They have my home address and I was here waiting to hear knock or every few hours check the porch to see if they dropped on porch. I was greeted by a very informative, friendly, staff that indeed had my package and let me know why they recieved it. After the horrible Covid 19 broke out they pretty much made other businesses closer to your area and less crowded I'm sure another than going and waiting in line at your Post Office, they referred to as "Access Locations" closer to your home . See in fact I do learn something different every day. I can only imagine how well they'll handle customers when they get flooded with these coming holiday packages. I have no doubt you'd be satisfied with that specific crew that had me smiling and laughing walking out there door. Good Luck guys!

They refused to let me use their diagnostic reader. They thought I was from out of town and tried to make me buy one.... nice try. Their r 134a is about twice the price anywhere else also, go to o'reilly's it's right next door.

I will not be going back here. I walked in needing a blinker bulb for my SUV. I brought one to the counter and asked if it would work. Not only did he give me attitude and seem like I was bothering him, he proceeded to treat me like I'm an idiot. He found one then rang me out. I asked why it wasn't an amber colored bulb. He said "well behind the red plastic for the light, amber wouldn't show up." I informed him it was for my driver's side front blinker. He responded with ".....clear will still be better!" My mechanic ibformed me that not only did the guy sell me the WRONG BULB but that I, indeed, need an amber colored bulb. So now I had to drive BACK to this store to return it. The gentleman who rang me out was very kind and apologetic for my experience. The older man who rang me out wouldnt look me in the eye. Every time I come here I get treated like this. I see the workers treat other women the same. But as soon as a man comes in? BOOM. It's like a switch is flipped and they help them with outstanding customer service. Advanced Auto Parts? Has LOST me as a customer. I will continue to go to Auto Zone where they don't treat women incompetently.The 2 stars was only for the gentleman who processed my return.

I have to tell you going to a parts store as a woman is pretty frightening and intimidating. But go to Advance Auto in Socastee and talk to Miss Erin she's awesome. Knowledgeable patient and very friendly. thank you Erin!

The guy that helped me tonight basically took my order over the phone and he had the gas cap ready for me when I got there. It was right before they closed he went above and beyond
