I ve taken a couple cars there in the last year after getting a referral from a friend. The are honest, which is the one thing I have to have in a car place.They have been able to correctly diagnose problems that other place have not been able to, and they are reasonably priced. Good experience, which is unusual for a car repair ship.

As a local service provider, we have recently used The Car Doc to service our vehicles and plug a tire on the most recent visits. Every time The Car Doc has been consistent with great and reliable customer service. It's been difficult for us to find a service that doesn't require a drop off and an 8 hour delay over a quick fix. We appreciate when a business values it's clients time. And, everytime we've gone there, cost was less than expected. They are very fair, knowledged, and honest. Update: Once again, they saved the day. This time replacing my fuel pump and had it back to me and running within an amazing 48hrs. The Cost was more than fair. I will continue to recommend them to anyone needing a fair and honest mechanic which is a rare find now a days. Again, my personal thank you goes out to you all.

Great service and really nice people. Take both my vehicles here and have never had a bad experience. Scott knows what he is doing and provides a good service and price for his work.

We were 800 miles from home on vacation and our AC stopped working two days before we were supposed to drive back home. They got us right in, scrambled to find the parts we need, and got us back up and running. They worked with us to get our warranty honored. We were very leery about being taken advantage of given we were not from the area and desperate to get our car fixed. They were so friendly and helpful and very transparent about the repair. Scott is extremely good and thorough mechanic and he will always give you a good price and he always goes and does extra on his jobs, the only mechanic I trust to work on my truck

Scott was so professional yet personable. He truly went above and beyond my expectations; went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the work he put into my car. Very honest and accomodating. Also, very affordable. I'm a mechanic down here without my tools. I had a suspension arm break. I was referred to them. I couldn't believe how nice and how quickly they fixed my car. When I got the Bill, I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. If I was anywhere else, the labor rate would have been at least two and a half times as much. You CAN'T go wrong with them.

While at the beach on vacation, I began having some car trouble. I was in a bit of a panic since I was only in town for a few more days with a LONG drive home. Fearing that I shouldn t be driving my car in its current state, I did some searching and called Car Doc (since they had great reviews).When I called, I spoke to Janice who managed to work me in immediately despite them being booked out for the next several days. From there, Scott worked really hard to get the part I needed (which nobody in town had in stock), got the work done super fast, and even stayed a little after their closing time on a Friday to make sure I got my car back THE NEXT DAY!!!I HIGHLY recommend these wonderful folks. If you have car trouble and want a good, honest mechanic, Scott is your guy. The team at Car Doc is fantastic and truly impressed me!

My car just died on me. I went where I bought my battery a few months ago. They replaced it but it would not start. They did not do any mechanical work but recommended Car Doc. I had called the dealer and Sears..both wouldn't even look at my car until after the weekend (this was Friday). I called Car Doc. Scott was wonderful! Very personable and friendly. He told me he would look at my car immediately. I had it towed to his shop and he, indeed, did as promised. He showed me the dead starter he took out and fixed my car within an hour or so. I am thrilled with the experience and the competent service.I will take my car here for all repairs (which I hope are limited). Highly recommended.

These folks hooked me up with a killer Value, in a prompt professional way. You came across a very special Gem of a Mechanic. They really helped me out and didn't overcharge me in the slightest. Janice and Scott were very helpful. They seemed swamped with customers, but still gave us quick and accurate attention. Fixed a problem caused by previous bad maintenance work from another place, and charged a very reasonable and affordable fee. They even gave us a ride to a local amusement park while we waited, and picked us up after! Highly recommended.

Took our van to him on a wednesday. Said it wasn't the wheel bearing, We just needed new back tires. .. Start to head home on a 10 hr trip, with my FOUR children, and boom... Wheel bearing goes out.. He definitely didn't drive our van or even take the wheel off to look at the wheel bearing... But made sure to charge us!! Liar and a thief... His lack of being a decent human being.. Could have cost my families lives.. I am absolutely going to make sure people know not to trust this shop!

We were in the area on vacation and the van started overheating on our way to watch the solar eclipse. Scott diagnosed the problem, gave an honest estimate, and repaired the vehicle while we enjoyed the beach. He went above and beyond. We couldn't thank him enough for everything! Best part is he repaired it in time for us to travel to the total eclipse. I would highly recommend this business.

They worked on my Jeep and even turned away some of my suggested repairs because it wasn t needed at the time of the actual needed repairs. That is a rare find and I ll always go back because of their integrity.

While vacationing in Myrtle Beach and visiting BrookGreen Gardens we discovered our vehicle wouldn't start. The wonderful people at BrookGreen Gardens gave us a jump start and we headed to Auto Zone to test the battery. Auto Zone tested the battery and the alternator and both were iffy. We replaced the battery and Auto Zone referred us to Car Doc. We called Car Doc first thing this morning and talked to Scott. Quoted 366.00 on the phone and 3 hours in and out. He even offered to take us to Garden City Pier while we waited, which we took full advantage of! 3.5 hours later Scott called us to let us know he wasn't completely finished but that he was sending his daughter to come get us and by the time we got there it should be done. He did one final test of the load on the battery before finalizing his work and everything passed with flying colors. The price was exactly as quoted and our vacation was barely affected by something that could've ruined it completely. I've never had a garage take such wonderful care of its customers! Highly recommended!

Janice and Rudy are great people at car docs , I was stranded 600 miles from home with a bad alternator,. Found them on google called them on the phone and gave my story and they said no problem get it to them and they would take care of me . Had me up and running in an hour charged me a fair price and were nothing but nice while doing the job .makes me feel good to know there are people like them out there that are doing the right thing .

My 19 year old daughter was at the beach with friends when her lower radiator hose blew a hole. The people at Car Doctor got her in and out the same day at a very reasonable price. If you are in the Surfside area and need help, this is where I would go. Thank you Car Doctor!!

Had my A/C surgery a month ago. Post Op therapy going well. Will be there tomorrow morning to have my Vision repaired.(front wiper motor)..... Carrie should get the Car Nurse of the Year award. Great service and Great people.

I was on vacation with my family and after coming off the road I was having brake/tire issues. I looked at the previous reviews an exactly what some people were saying is what they did... I called and they got me in the same day told me what my issue was fix it and we were on our way...I defiantly recommend this place...

These folks have true customer service. Even after receiving the wrong parts they still fixed my vehicle and stayed after hours on a Friday to do it and get my family on our way home.

AVOID THIS SERVICE CENTER THEY PERFORM UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS WORKThey installed new shocks on my wife'svan.The left front wheel fell off due to them stripping threads on all wheel hub studs not just on one wheel,but all 4.Took them from Monday afternoon till the following Monday to repair crank but no start problem,all that time to finally find faulty distributor assembly.Had to return van following day,engine cover improperly installed allowing carbon monoxide and excessive heat into interior cagin area.
