Wonderful experience! Had a blowout this morning on the way to work, not far from their location. Gave them a call after getting the spare on to see about pricing and if they'd be able to work on it today. The price for 2 tires was very reasonable, and they said they'd be able to fit me in by lunch. It took less than 30 minutes! I could've easily just waited, but I opted to ride back over with coworkers for lunch at Tommy's (in the same building). Quick service and yummy lunch, both at a great price!

Came for a tire rotation and they discovered my wheel lock key was missing. Was able to go buy the key and came back and they serviced me quickly. Very friendly people and a great price for my tire rotation. Also a very sweet dog in the waiting area which was a plus! Will definitely return to Kellett s!

My car was making some really bad grinding/popping noise and I was expecting this to be a very costly repair. Kellets fixed the problem and got me my car back the same day. They didn t try to upsell me or sell me repairs I didn t need. The final bill was way less than I expected because it was just a couple of loose bolts. A lot of mechanics would have tried to take advantage but they were honest and now they will have a repeat customer. Thanks guys!

this is Charlie Dieterich. my wife Gina have 5 company vans and a few family cars. This company has fixed all of our cars, SUVs, vans & pick-ups. they are very honest, very fair pricing, my recent repair on 2012 GMC commercial van, They pulled out the transmission, changed my flywheel, flushed transmission, new seals, filter, gaskets, synthetic trans fluid, reinstall trans, removed exhaust mani-fold, change 2 broken bolts, reinstall, Lube oil & filter, 6 quarts full synthetic, oil filter, lube. You wont find a better place in town.

This business is not reputable. I hope the owner sees this because the office manager would not give him my message. Tim inspected our car, which we intended to purchase. He told us after his inspection it had a CVT transmission. Based on that sole piece of information, he told us he would not buy the car. We turned down the car (hours of research and a missed day of work lost as a result). I later called a Ford dealership, which told me by looking up the vin for that specific car that the car we had taken did not have a CVT transmission. When I called to clarify Tim told me we ll the computer must ve been wrong. That s not my fault. I also spoke to the office manager, who essentially told me the same thing and refused to let me speak with anyone else. This business offers misinformation and their mechanics do not seem to understand transmissions. The worst part is they don t care about any of this, especially their customers.

The gentleman that handles the service advisor position is a fool. The rates are out of this world, and they make things up just to get your mind. These people should not be in business. These people are straight crooks. and after being an automotive technician for 17 years I m gonna have to say that this place is despicable all around

This is a family-owned business, and they take pride in their store and work. It shows! My husband and I have been using Kellett's primarily for auto repair services, but we also use their little restaurant and gas station with convenience shop from time to time. This is the most dependable car repair shop we have ever set foot in. We have been customers for TWENTY-PLUS YEARS and have NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE.

Absolutely wonderful people. Had a blowout at 4:45 and limped into their shop 15 minutes before the closed. They worked me in at the last minute, great prices and top notch techs and receptionist. If you need a tire, these are the people you want

My experience: They were rude. I walked in, the 2 ladies at the window got on the phone and didn t acknowledge me at all. A simple, we will be right with you would ve been great! Finally after standing there looking lost a guy walked in and asked have I been helped. I told him all I needed was my spare tire put on because my tire went flat. He informed me that it will be 30 mins before he can look at it, but everyone that worked there was just standing around talking not working. I said that s ok and went across the street to the Auto Care Center. Where I was greeted even though they had 4 customers ahead of me and I was In and out in 10 mins. Maybe it was just me but I wouldn t recommend or return back to this rude place.

Just moved to the Mauldin area this month and unfortunately, I ran over a screw. Kelletts korner was able to repair my tire for under 15 bucks, mounted and balanced. Very quick service. Everyone was helpful, and friendly.

I can't say enough good about the people at Kellet's Korner. I have been taking my vehicles there for many years. It all started with a referral from a friend. I had an older 4Runner that needed a good doctor. They always got me up and running in a reasonable time for a reasonable charge. Fast forward a year or so and the car was having minor, but regular breakdowns.I asked the team to have a look. They put the car up on a lift and said that very minor parts were starting to rust and that I should consider getting rid of the car. Now, I don't know if this strikes you as strange, but when my mechanic tells me it's time for me to replace the car that they get paid to fix (instead of making a mint off my minor repairs) I take their advice. I traded the car and got a new one. They took a short term loss in my business to ensure my needs were best served as a long term customer. That was at least 8 years ago. My wife was there today and is completely happy to take Kellett's advice on what needs repair and what can wait. She never feels like they are trying to take advantage of her because she is a woman. If I am in the unfortunate position of needing a mechanic - I know I have a relationship with one that has my best interest at heart. In the auto repair business the team at Kellett's is worth their weight in gold.

They were once a great establishment, however, I had two distinct instances where they did not treat a family loyal to them for forty years. First, I had some work done on a pickup truck, it broke a week later out of town. The mechanic said someone put the distributor cap on wrong and showed me. He suggested I take the broken piece with me to show the guys out of courtesy. When I drove down to the store, one of the owners said I couldn't prove it and there was nothing I could do about it.Not the response one expects for a 40 year customer.Second, after spending over $1000.00 on the repairs they said the pickup needed--They kept the truck for several days, thoroughly inspected it and fixed everything they said was wrong...up to and including "fixing" a very minor oil leak.I drove it for two days and all the oil leaked out of the pickup while driving home--the engine was destroyed.Hmmmm,?????I still gave them a star---Out of 40 years of great service --41st year...would not recommend them to ANYONE outside of food and fuel. Good fuel and good food!

I use fuel rewards, so this is my only Shell station in the area to use. Just be very careful to check the card reader, I got mine skimmed there and someone tried to use the number a few weeks later in Georgia. Gas prices are decent especially when deducting the fuel rewards discount.

Balanced my Corvette s wide, low profile tir PERFECTLY, with their top of the line Hunter Roadforce machine. What happened is I had to replace a tire because of damage. Another place mounted the tire (nice job with no scratches), but ended up with a vibration they could not fix. It was *very* frustrating on a car that was only 4 months old.Kellet s made my new car ride like new again! Very happy about that.

Always have good service with Kellet. They have worked on several cars for me and my family. We have service included and have not used them as often lately. I rate them top notch for customer service and quality work.

I'm very impressed with the honesty at Kellet's. I am from Arizona and was told my car has a loose part by the place that changed my oil, when they had it on the hoist. I took it to Kellet's to be repaired before driving home across country. They checked everything and said there was nothing wrong with it. I saved over $100. I would have never known otherwise. Thanks Kellet's!

Jimmy, the owner, was misleading at best, and grossly over charged for the work performed. Will never use the service shop at kellet's again. He doubled the retail price of all parts. And insinuated more parts were going to be replaced than actually were replaced. I won't call him a liar but, will say, he chooses his words very carefully.

I ve lived in Mauldin for 60 years. I ve know the Kelletts my entire time. I remember the founder Calvin Kellett used to sell me a tank of gas on credit when I was 16 years old and let me pay him later. He was always willing to help when help was needed. The business is now operated by his children and grandchildren and they run the business with the same honest, fair and helpful attitude. They not only sell gasoline but have a full service automotive garage and quick stop store. While your there don t forget to eat at Tommy s Snackbar. It s where the locals meet and eat. I d give them six stars if I could.

4/12/19 approx. 11:50 a.m. - Rude and terrible customer service on the gas station side. The blonde-haired, woman employee and former Gunnery Sergeant of the Marine Reserves would rather argue than take payment. My husband went in to get diesel, but first asked the lady why the different prices were listed. She said it was $2.40 something with cash or $2.60 something with card. He went to pay with card to be told they don t take card. He asked why not because there was a card reader in front of him, and she states, Can t you see they re not on? Then, proceeded to say she can go next door and run his card, but they ll charge an extra $10 fee. When he said that s freaking ridiculous, the Gunny wanted to step in and tell him to calm down, and then proceeded to follow him out of the store trying to intimidate him. What a joke of a place.

They have always been completely honest with me and are not expensive. Being a female going to a mechanic and them being honest is rare!! I will be brining another car in there this week, Kellets was the first place to come to mind!

We have lived here almost 30 years. Kelletts has been our auto mechanic all that time. They offer all kinds of services there. A restaurant, gas station, wrecker service, auto mechanic along with several other things.

I don t have enough nice things to say about the service provided by these guys. I owe a specific thank you to Chris and Mr. Kellet who went above and beyond to get my issue taken care of. Strongly recommend them for your automotive needs!

over 500 dollars for breaks and just had them rechecked. Surprise surprise, nothing was fixed. Then, before I realized what skeezy place my sister went there and they told her she needed a 2200 dollar transmission..all she needed was a 50 dollar coil, the same price that Kellet charged for the wrong diagnosis. DONT TRUST THEM, especially if you're a girl, they're rude and will rip you off.

Terrible customer service , careless, and unsympathetic they left something a loose on my car and cause my car to break down and wreck and they told me I should be paying more attention to my car opposed to saying they would fix it or at least look at it. They're trash establishment and only good for their grits and sausage I will never use any of this service ever again or refer them to anybody
