What a great experience at Carway! Dropped off our 2002 Jeep Liberty with a no start problem when hot. They fixed the bad ground in the starter relay circuit for a very reasonable price. I usually perform my own repairs but the professional staff at Carway fixed it fast!

These guys are so nice and they do great work. I have called around and priced repairs and they are the best by far. They are also extremely honest, they have never tried to find "extra" things wrong so they could get more money. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

I would like to thank Carl an Eric for there patients with me an my car journeys today ..they both we're very understanding an very helpful when it came to leaving my car at there shop alittle longer then need be ...thank you guys..Carl is a great guy an I have no problem referring busines to him from friends an family ..he does good work an he's very patient an knowledgeable..thank you Carl ..an Eric too ..

I am an extremely satisfied customer!!! I own a mobile dog grooming truck. I had a belt go and had the towing company take me here. First of all, I received a $25 discount from the towing company to take my truck to Car Way! Yay!! I needed a new tensioner (the cause of the belt breaking) and a new belt. Most importantly, Car Way had me up and running in less that 24 hours! I am SO GRATEFUL!!!! They saved the day! They will have ALL my business going forward (4 vehicles in my family)! Don t Bother!!! They took advantage of us!! They MADE us pay $89.00 JUST to look at something!! We were already paying $119.00 for turning TWO rotors. They didn t even warn me they charge $89.00 to look at Something!! Carl & Eric laughed at my husband and said it s like a Dr s office! Pay for checkup!! Ugh! Awful! Even chased us out saying he has Two daughters getting ready for college!!??? THATS NOT A FAIR REASON TO CHARGE $89.00.Service: Brakes

Snakes!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! AWFULL SERVICE!! They charged me $89.00 to look at my A/C! I was having my rotors resurfaced for $119.00. I asked if they could tell me what s wrong with my a/c so we could prepare to fix it in the future. They charged me just to run a diagnostic and put eyes on it.!!! Never gave me a warning.I m sure I wasn t the first! And definitely not the last! Pray for them and for my Anger!!Service: Brakes

We've used Carl and Eric several times. They are honest, fair and trustworthy. I'm 65 and have delt with a lot of dealerships and mechanics. Let's just say the dealership wanted $1,250 to fix our problem. Carl and Eric made it good as new for a fourth of what we were told it would take to get us cooling again. We have been with Carl 25 years! I've never taken my car to him and he was not able to fix it. For items he does not service, he always recommends someone he knows that can do the job at a good price. We love Carl and his family. Good humble people!

Took a car here last week that i had recently purchased. The seller sold the car to me with open knowledge of it killing batteries in a couple days, seller said he thought it was in the gauges putting a slow, constant drain on the battery even when the car is off. I called Carway and spoke with Carl and he explained to me that his shop was full at the time but if i could bring it back next week he would like to see if he could fix it. This was my first time actually doing business with him, i had tried to take him one of my other cars before but since it was a high performance motor he steered me in another direction. Well Wednesday came and i took him my car, he kept it 8 days to throughly diagnose the problem, called me on the eighth day and told me he had it fixed. In the back of my mind I m thinking he could really overcharge me right now and I ll never know because with wiring a mechanic can say they did this or spent this amount of time on it and you have to take their word because no actual parts are changed. Well when he gave me the price that i owed, whew, let s just say , I ve spent more at Longhorn Steakhouse for three people. When i went to pick up the car i took donuts and coffee from Dunkin as a sign of my appreciation for good service. . I ve been driving the car for a week and the issue i had with it is resolved and fixed totally. Highly recommend them. I knew i was in the right place though because when i was checking out they had Christian music playing in the background radio. That says a lot in this day and time.Service: Battery

Carl & Eric are great honest guys! I completely trust them to work on my car. Friendly service, explanations are in lay terms, I would recommend anyone in the Mauldin area to take their car here if you are looking for a new mechanic!

Never thought I would find a service center that made me feel comfortable having a car with higher mileage that needed extra attention. These folks are absolutely trustworthy based on my experiences. Reasonable rates honest staff. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!! Wish there were more like these guys!!! They are a truly respectable service center.

Our family seems to have more than our fair share of car repairs. The unfortunate thing is that we have not known Carl and Eric for 25 years, only three. There used to be a time when a man could do a deal with a hand shake and his word was his bond. I am happy to report that time has stood still at Car-Way. They do car repair work the way it should be done, a rock-solid estimate, quality work at a very fair price. I considered them to be honest and fair to a fault. You won t be disappointed but make your appointment today, their secret is out!!

Today my transmission hose blew out, an hour from my home but only a few miles away from Car-Way. I was lucky to get my car (and four children ranging from infant to 8) into any parking lot at all, but extremely lucky it was these guys! They were busy, but I asked if they could take a quick look, fully expecting to have to get a tow truck back to Greenwood for repair, but they went above and beyond to diagnose, drove to find the part, and got me back driving within hours, and the price was very reasonable. After the repair, Eric even test-drove the car for quite a few miles just to be certain there would be no surprises on my trip home. If you've ever been stranded with very young children and car troubles (and I have been more than once), you'll appreciate what a nightmare it CAN be. Car-Way turned what could have been a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day into sort of just a bad one. ;-) If they were local to me, I'd be a converted customer in an instant. Five stars!!

I went to check my car and I left it there for a day and when I went and asked to let me know what s wrong with the car and how much will it cost to fix it and he said that they will not charge me until they get approved to fix my car. When I came back he gave me an idea of what might be the problem but he didn t know exactly what was wrong. He charged me $69 for just a check up and he did nothing. He s a fraud! He didn t say anything about the cost of the check up. He said all costumers know that a check up is $69. I don t recommend this place. Their not honest and ask about the cost for the checkup. They don t have experience because they didn t even know the issue with the car. Go to Autozone because they give you a free checkup.

We are new to the area having moved to the greater Greenville area. So we were looking for a reputable auto service company.Our Church Pastor recommended Car-Way Auto Service as he and many of the church congregation uses his auto services.Carl, owner, scheduled our 2010 Prius for a brake job. They are busy, busy. Their estimate was fair, repair completed as described, and was professionally handled. They did a multi-check for other items, but in our case of there were no other problems found.I would recommend to anyone looking for honest auto service.Rating them 4.75 stars (as a 5 star rating is rare for me)Mike & Nicole

I have taken my cars to Car-Way for years on a recommendation from someone at Auto Zone. They have worked on 3 of my cars and have always fixed the problem the first time. You want something done right the first time and for the same or less money than other shops or the overpriced dealership? I know I do! I would refer my mom to Car-Way and trust that she would be in good hands. Carl has always explained what was wrong with my vehicle, what it would cost to fix it, and how long it would take. I've never had a repeat issue after a repair. There's nothing more you can ask of a business.

I came in to get some estimates on my car which was fine, the gentleman at the front desk was kind, but overall I didn t feel welcomed, more so by others. I honestly believe some were more satisfied with me leaving than actually scheduling an appointment.

Top notch service. They were reasonable and were able to repair my wife's van on schedule. They were referred to us, but was very pleased with our first time using them.
