Big store, small town atmosphere. Every associate I had contact with was helpful, courtesy, friendly, and just down to earth. Helped me find what I was looking for ( at a very reasonable price). While browsing, I had some questions on a few things, not only answered them, pointed out items on sale and clearence. Wow! Awesome!I will take the short drive for this reason over the bigger Simpsons in Sumter. (Not bad mouthing them either). I just really enjoyed my visit that much.

This is a great store with an outstanding staff. The problem is the manager Amanda. She has the personality of a rock. She normally does not greet the public and it is evident why she is a man hater and does not know how to run a store. She states that the breaker I bought wasn't bought in 6 years. Of course Ms. Evelyn was not allowed to verify and my tenant a former employee of ACE also was not contacted. So rather than paying a premium with outstanding service just drive to Lowe's or Home Depot. I'd even recommend Daniels over the manager of ACE.First time I have been back in this store and was approached by a homely large unmasked man invading my personal space claiming to be one of the owners. Oddly enough I don't see his name on the webpage in fact there is no Jeremy on the page. So since the manager, Amanda, can't manage the store she has to ban you from coming into the store. Typical cowardly leadership and that is how this store shows its appreciation for spending $48.59.Of course the friendly staff members working hard that speak and call you by name trying to please while management doesn't know how.

Our home well pump died late Friday night 12/17/21. Simpson's had the pump available that we needed. I am a novice at plumbing. What would have taken me 30 minutes to find all of the fittings that I needed for the job, staff member Tony did it in 5 minutes. He was a tremendous help and I am gratetful that he was there to help. Thanks Tony! Plus,

Mildred and the other ladies here take great care of me when I need small items. On occasion I also get help from some of the men. It is a friendly little place, so I enjoy coming here when I just need an item or two, because I know that someone will be able to take me right to the item that I need.

Robbie and Mildred are excellent employees and they know their job very well they always give great customer service the cashiers are always smiling and friendly bookstore is always clean if you want a great place to visit with great people you should stop here but I wouldn't run over to Daniel's Hardware because you can't get any of that

Very disappointing trip. Got my free $10 off card for my birthday and I couldn't find anything to buy. They had no patriotic t-shirts for the 4th of July. Wasted trip. I stood in the area where the t-shirts were and no one asked me if I needed help. The guy at the gun counter was just chatting away with a customer/friend about nothing pertaining to the store. Never once did he look my way. Simpson's in Sumter is much better.

Big thanks to the team at Simpson s Hardware in Manning! Amanda, Arnie, and Chris made it a breeze choosing the right Traeger for me! Recommend them to anyone in the market for a new grill!

Nice store, mostly friendly staff. Went looking to buy an outdoor canopy. The exact same canopy they are selling for $99.99 was $41.00 at Walmart! Same box, same brand. Guess where we bought?? I hate Walmart, but I could not justify buying this for doubt the price.

I just love the folks at the Simpson store in Manning they are extremely helpful they have not steered us wrong on anything we have purchased. And they just treat you all like family and when I needed prayer because we had a death in the family these folks prayed with me and I love that because you don t get that in a store or a hardware store or any place other than this door and I won t shop in any other Simpsons but the store here in Manning

I decided to go for a walk down to Simpson's Hardware in Manning just for fun and check pricing on some wheelbarrows and carts while I was there. Two of my daughters went with me and we took our little dog who doesn't make a peep. We were followed around the store and when one older heavy set 'gentleman' asked if he could help us find anything and I explained that "we just wanted to go for a walk and we walked here" he rolled his eyes and snuffed at me. As we were leaving a second rude man looked right in my face and ignored my polite acknowledgment with a stone cold stare, choosing to pet my dog and pass. I don't know what I did to deserve that kind of treatment but I very much guarantee that I won't be shopping at ANY Simpson's Hardware Ever again. I am going to look into who to report this kind of behaviour too.

Bought some plexiglass and it cracked immediately. Chris knows nothing about plexiglass. Make sure you have plexiglass that will bend before leaving the store. You don't want to pay a high price for substandard material that want last 5 minutes.

The more mature ladies in the store are very helpful and love Mr. Conant, Ms. Margaret and I can't remember the lady's name behind the register she helped me with locating lye the other day, very nice and all of them are knowledgable abt the store.

Employees are the most excellent, well informed, & helpful in the whole town of Manning...Other business management's in this town need to take notice & be schooled as to what customer service is all about!!!
