I received my car back from them after it has been in the shop for 3 months from me hitting a deer. All my light were still on my dashboard. My car started to run hot. Come to find out my radiator hoses wasn t attached to the radiator. I do not recommend anyone to go to this shop.

Dropped in unexpected at about 5pm on a Friday with electrical issues with a newish 2022 Buick Enclave. We were on our way from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, headed to Indian Hsrbour Beach, Florida.The Battery voltage was low and not charging at highway speeds. The service staff jumped to our help. THANKS ALL.Testing did not discover any issues.Will report later if issues surface.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A friend had recently done business with them and had favorable interaction. I was able to make a very good deal quickly and I was on my way. No pressure - straight shooters and highly recommended!

Service was excellent once they got my truck into the shop. Score would have been much higher had it not taken two trips to the service center without follow-up and then an email to the dealership manager before my appointment was made. Jeff and Mark were very detailed in their explanation of the issue and the updates needed and truck was returned spotless. Great comeback guys!!!

I don t have enough positive words to express how wonderful Prothro Chevrolet is. My family hit a rogue truck tire on our way to Flotida. The tire broke my radiator and condenser. The incredible team at Prothro Chevrolet got my traverse fixed incredibly fast. They even brought us to a local hotel and treated us with such kindness. They truly made a terrible situation so much better. Jeff in the service team was simply the best. Thank You Prothro!

Over the last 20 years my wife and I have purchased 10 new vehicles from Prothro Chevrolet. I have moved and lived in 3 different states during that time, but always end up coming back for my vehicle needs. Today, I will travel from GA to buy our 11th new vehicle. Don t waste your time at other dealers.

First and foremost the technician who I spoke to was very rude and not knowledgeable of the problems that I was dealing with at hand with my vehicle. The two times that I spoke with him about my Impala he was rushing me off the phone and over talking me. Whereas it was impossible for me to even explain to him exactly what problems I was experiencing with my car. Left my vehicle there for two days just be charged $140 for nothing. No one drove the car to see exactly what it was doing. I thoroughly explained to the technician once the car gets into 3rd gear it starts to tremble and cut back. But they insisted on me leaving it there to have it checked when the car is cold and hot. Supposedly no codes came up with both diagnosis. But insisted that I leave it there to have more test ran for another $140 an hour to figure out what's going on. So why would I want to leave my vehicle with Prothro again or refer any business to them. I'm highly disappointed with the service dept. because they were highly recommended.

Please don t ever take your vehicle here for a repair they had my vehicle for 5 months and when I received my vehicle back after the repairs I had to take it back 8 times after the repair because my door was leaking then the trunk started leaking and it s still leaking do not ever take your vehicle here for repair PLEASE DONT!!!

2004 gmc yukon south bound I-95 and my right front wheel bearing went out . Called prothro to tow it in and repair it Monday . Both front wheel bearing hubs replace , right front brake caliper and bracket , right front rotor replaced . replaced break pads and turn the rotors. $1774.29 parts and labor . Picked up the truck Wednesday morning .

I needed the rear bumper to be repainted. The body shop manager, Andrew Stone, explained the process prior to my dropping off the car so that I could plan to be without the car for a few days. The work was done on time. The bumper looks like new and matches the body color. Excellent job!

I'll preface this by saying the sales person I deal with I'd give 5 stars. This review is about the service.I recently brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. I prefer using the dealer because they claim to do a 27 point inspection and with summer driving approaching I wanted to be sure the car was ready.When I picked up my car the receipt did say they preformed the inspection. However when I couldn't find the "checklist" I was told they were out of them but they did the inspection.So if they did the inspection why didn't they notice a missing fog light bulb, or a shredded rear wiper blade, or all 4 tires under inflated. Also 10,000 miles prior they marked rear brakes at 3mm. So what are they now? My tire treads look low to me, are they safe for a long trip?It is obvious they didn't do the inspection they said they did. So how can I be sure they did anything?Edit: I had my tires replaced elsewhere and they didn't reset the sensors. Protho did this for me at no charge, they restored my faith in their service team.

Well where do I begin I live out of state was in Florida my 2023 truck just stalled had to have it towed to the chevy dealer in Florida they said it needed a water pump it would take 6 months to a year I was in tears called my dealer where i bought my truck he said there s only 3 in the United States yes just 3 one was in manning sc. so I called the dealer chad at pethro Chevy said if we had the truck here it would not be a problem so I had it towed to pethro Chevy from Florida the dealership in Florida was very rude and obnoxious he wouldn t even call around to find the part from Chevy chad and all the staff at this dealership is outstanding thank you guys I am very grateful if you have any doubts at all just think if there willing to go that far for a customer they ve never meet just think how well off you are to have a gentleman like chad to go the extra mile thank you all Pethro Chevy

I was aware of the actual repair my vehicle needed, but was advised that I was incorrect. Had to drive to a gmc dealership in Columbia to save $340.00. I wish I could trust the local dealership, but looks like I ll be making the drive to Columbia for future service.

Hands down the best customer service I have ever had! Unfortunately my 2018 GMC had an issue while traveling and broke down in Manning, SC on a Saturday right at about closing time for the dealership. The guys stayed open after hours long enough for me to have my truck and boat towed to the dealership and stored within their fence. They supplied me with a loaner for the weekend until the service dept. opened back up on Monday. Unfortunately my truck had a major issue and had to have the entire fuel system replaced which took a while but all in all a reasonable amount of time for the size of the job. The entire time my truck was being repaired Chad kept me informed and helped me out with more information on getting reimbursed for hotel stays and additional rental cost. All of this was provided to a guy (me) from out of state that until that Saturday didn t know Prothro Chevy even existed. I can t say enough about how great these guys and General Motors treated me.Sincerely, Allen Brown

Bad experience with this Dealer!!!!! Salesman lied and ran my fiancee's credit for a vehicle that they no longer owned to try and sell her something else.Mpst dishonest salesman I have ever dealt with.
