We don't know why we're the unlucky ones here but Scott has ruined the front end mechanisms of our 2017 Hyundai Elantra. It is going to cost us hundreds if not thousands of dollars to get this mess fixed by a certified mechanic. We're seriously considering taking him to court and reporting him to the Better Business Bureau and the South Carolina Consumer Affairs Department. His rates are low. Often you get what you pay for. We're angry and very dissatisfied having spent over $700 for nothing but troubles and no resolution of the problem.Reply to Scott:You shouldn't have charged me for screwing up my car Scott. Of course you should have followed up for free because you made zero improvement, zero SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE of what you promised. I just filed a complaint against you with Eastern Carolina Better Business Bur. and I'm preparing one for the South Carolina Dept. of Consumer Affairs. You kept changing your story--first it's the strut then it's the ball joint and you blame it on National Tire and Battery work done years ago--NBT being one of the most reputable auto mechanic chains in the US with highly trained, CERTIFIED mechanics. I should have gone there in the first place as my family recommended. I will see NBT tomorrow to inform them of your passing the buck. I paid you $725.15 and I got nothing but aggravation, wasted time and an unsafe car in worse condition than when I first brought it to you. I drive on average less than 100 miles / week. I want a full refund within three business days of this post [Dec. 26, 2023] as I will now have to pay NTB a large sum to fix what you were paid to fix but did not fix. This car is not safe to drive.Obviously you do not have much experience with Hyundais. I've had many cars in the past 50 years and this is the worst auto mechanic experience I've ever had. I had better mechanics on Tigre Island, Gulf of Foneseca. Honduras.You need a vacation Bro.

I go there all the time for my car and he does a good job and fix the problem. Went there yesterday and fix the problem it was having. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Took my car in for flashing check engine light. told Scott my suspicions. He ran a diagnostic I told me had a Miss in cylinder 1. Told him I was leaning towards a fouled spark plug because of the way the car would react when the lights are flashing. Turns out it was a fouled plug. You change the plug and coil pack. Bing, bang, boom...$106. later and I was out of there. By the way for those that don't know, that price is a steal. Is hourly price is a little high, however he only charges you for the portion of our he uses. Scott is a very nice guy a receptionist is kind of delightful actually.

The most professional and honest auto repair facility ever experienced . And I m 71 years old. Referred to me by another repair facility in Loris. Imagine that!Lube, oil filter and tire repair . 49.05Twenty five minutes!Brand new oil change facility in the area wanted $84.00 for premium oil change.Scott s replaced my front strut assemblies last fall for half of what one of their closest competitors.Thanks for a stress free relationship!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Scott's garage is located in the old Western Auto building in Loris, Scott is the same mechanic who has been servicing my as well as other local's vehicles for years. Now the place is called Scott's garage and you get the same, if not better, excellent service and auto repair. Prices are fair (if not downright cheap!) And the man is honest. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else, Scott's garage is the place to go for auto work.

I went to There to get an oil change on Rava 4 . The price was the cheapest and the service was excellent , they were nice and friendly . I highly recommend you go there for your service car repairs.

I had a truck that Scott had for MONTHS and said he fixed radiator and replaced fuel pump. I just had to replace the fuel pump "again" and was told there is no way it was changed last year. I dont think Scott replaced everything he charged me for and he over charged me two times what my new mechanic did. I live and work in Loris, SC and wanted to support local, but I think Scott is not a man of his word or does honest work.
