Love these guys! Honest and fair prices, quick service. Not much else you can ask for in auto service. They have taken care of all of our family cars,They should be your first call.

This place is great! I felt very welcome. It's hard to find good people these days and I was very happy with the services they provided they were very upfront and honest :) and they have a shop kitten named spark plug who kept me company while my car was being worked on

Got sent to them from the place I got my Mazda at and they are extremely friendly. They were really quick with what needed to be fixed. 10/10 will go back if anything happens

Mike and his crew has had my vehicles backs for years. The ONLY ones to touch my vehicles. Latest trip to Colo. Springs to Iowa and back we had no problem after an inspection before leaving. I have been going here for a while and have never reviewed anyone. I continued to be impressed with the level of personal attention that they give me each and every time. The location in clean, and very customer friendly, and the mechanics are very well trained. Mike the owner is the nicest guy, and is always very professional when dealing with his customer. If you ever need any vehicle repairs don't waste your time and money anywhere else go see the guys at Palmetto State. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommended!! New to the area and I was referred to these great gentlemen from the car dealership that I purchased my vehicle from. They called me back ASAP with a vehicle diagnostic and the repair was done before the close of business!! My car runs so much smoother!!! The cost was very fair!!! I am one happy customer!!

I highly recommend Mike and his team at Palmetto State Auto. They came recommend via Facebook and are one of two places in Lexington that work on Volkswagens. Everyone has been extended friendly and easy to work with. The communication was outstanding. I will forever take my vehicle to Mike and his team!!

Love, love this place! As a single lady who doesn't anything about cars, I feel really comfortable with Mike. I had a issue and like most I shopped around. Palmetto gave me the best price out of the other shops in the area, and my car was fixed quick and stress free. Their waiting area is very comfortable and you forget that you are at a shop. As a plus I got to hangout with Buddy the shop dog. Very awesome place and my new auto shop! Thanks Palmetto

Very satisfied with the service I got. I am a single woman who is very skeptical of taking my car to shops due to past experiences. The guys there where very helpful, and I was very comfortable. The waiting room is nice, and is away from the work area so it was nice not having to hear all of the noise that comes with car repair. I would recommend them to anyone, and I will be back. Hopefully not too soon.

I can't write enough good things about the company. They replaced my alternator, the alternator belt, changed my oil and the tension thing for my belt. My car's back on the road and seems to be doing very well. They also put in a transmission in my friend's car and she too is very pleased. That's why she sent me to them to work on my car.

As I was taking my son to the doctor this morning, I had an experience with an assumed employee of this establishment. I am assuming that he was an employee as he was a passenger in a vehicle advertising this company. The company vehicle was coming out of a driveway and I did not see it. As I slowed to stop for the traffic light, I blocked the driveway. I noticed to my right that the passenger of the company vehicle had opened his door to stand and say something. I downed my passenger window and asked what he said, with which he replied, "so you are going to block the driveway and we can't get out". I simply told him I didn't see them. Which I hadn't until it was too late for me to stop and leave enough room for them to get out. At that point the passenger of the company vehicle gave me the middle finger. I found that disrespectful and unnecessary, so I pulled over to see if he wanted to discuss the issue. Of course, his courage disappeared quickly. I write all of this to say, I may not be able to speak to the quality of service performed, but to speak to the quality of individual representing the company. First, I don't owe you the right to egress from the driveway in that situation, even if I had seen you. Second, I don't appreciate your gesture in front of my child. Third, consider the lack of common sense that you displayed by behaving the way you did in a vehicle with advertisements and phone numbers on that vehicle. I wouldn't think that you are the owner considering your actions, but nonetheless your actions reflect on the business. I will tell as many people as I can about the experience and the quality of individual that I encountered. Maybe I should not have stopped to confront this person, but I did. Fortunately nothing occurred and we moved on, but avoidable situations like this occur all the time with not so fortunate results. This world could use a little more respect for one another. With that said, I apologize for my actions and for allowing your ignorance and disrespect to impact me.After making my initial post regarding my experience this morning, I not only received the response of my review, but I also had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Mike. Mike clarified that the person that I had a problem with was not an employee of his. He was apologetic for the series of events, as was I. I stated previously that the actions reflected poorly on the business, but I can tell you now that the dialogue Mike shared with me regarding the incident reflect a whole lot more favorably then those of the individual this morning. I appreciate Mike's willingness to listen and respond to the incident. I can only imagine that if he treats his customer in the same manner that he treated me (not a customer) he will continue to receive favorable reviews. Mike, thanks for listening to and addressing my concern.

These guys were pretty quick and very reasonable on their prices. Not the prettiest of places but that's why you aren't paying for overhead here. Also the owner (I'm assuming) is the ASE mechanic and is very knowledgeable and was on site working with the guys. I'm a hands on guy and would normally do the work myself because I wouldn't want to pay an arm and a leg but that wasn't the case here. I'll refer anyone to this shop.

Had my vehicle for over a week and a half and never even popped my hood to do a diagnostic. Other cars kept coming in and pushing me to the back - used car dealerships take precedence over street business. I was lied to about 3 different times my car was supposed to be looked at. I finally told them to put my keys in the Jeep, took it to Auto Pros, and got it back in 4 days. I don't have time for people that are going to misrepresent where I am in a cue or ignore promises.

Best place to have your car worked on. They know exactly what they are doing and don't do any of that over charging and saying we need something we don't. Only will go here and recommended them to everyone

Thought my 2003 tracker was done for and not worth the money that may have been required to fix . This place had it fixed in a day for a great price . I am so very thankful !!
