Wanted to get my windshield fixed (only a few chips and a crack in there) but was told they couldn t fix it because of something to do with vendors and that they only do repairs involved with accidents? Please specify what you actually offer. Your website is misleading.

The staff are friendly and helpful but their price is too high and quality of work is below average. I had to reject it the first time they finished my car and had to wait for another week for them to fix the car. But still there are spots that were sanded during the repair but paint has dent and chips in it.

I just got my car back from Gerber Collision at 4765 Sunset Blvd. It looks terrific and they got it done much earlier than the original estimated date. Everyone there was so easy to work with regarding my car repairs. I definitely would recommend Gerber at this location if you need auto body work and want a great repair experience!

Excellent customer service from their front desk staff. We arrived at their facility just before closing after being involved in an accident. Not only did one of their employees drive my husband to a nearby car rental place, but they stayed past closing so that myself and children would have a place to wait. They also offered to help us unload our car so we could continue on with our vacation. Our family was obviously distressed by our accident, but the hospitality and kindness shown to us by their exceptional employees made a challenging situation a little easier.Service: Body & Trim

If you need any body work done I HIGHLY recommend Lexington Gerber. Everyone there is super friendly, will explain and help you with everything needed. Nichole has the best happy personality. Seeing your new car dented after an accident is beyond stressful. Gerber seriously made me feel confident in choosing them. They sent several text messages updating me on where they were in the repairs. Anytime I called I got to speak to a person who knew my car and answered any questions I had. At the end, I couldn t believe what my car looked like! Brand new! Like it never happened!! Highly recommend Gerber on Sunset 100%!!!.Service: Body & Trim

Truck paint has runs in the new paint job. The bumper was black and now is painted white. Our truck was vandalized while under their care. (catalytic converters were stolen at my expense.) Worst experience with a collision center we have ever encountered. Save yourself a headache and take your vehicle anywhere else.Service: PaintingService: Painting

After calling three other locations, I finally get Beverly, I asked Beverly the same question regarding available dates to get an estimate. It wasn t that she had immediate availability for next week apparently unlike the other locations, it was her tone and knowledge that would make me recommend going to this place. Customer service is everything.

I just wanted to send a note stating what a pleasant experience I had in working with your professional team at the Lexington location.I had scheduled some work to be done on my truck and was able to drop it off overnight using a key drop-box which is invaluable because of the crazy hours I work. The work was to be completed the following day and a complete estimate was provided including labor. When I arrived the next day to pick up my truck I was immediately informed that the repairs were not complete- not what I needed to hear on a freezing snowy day with work waiting on me across town. But I am in the service industry and understand that things happen.The team at John Harris went over and beyond my expectations to have my truck ready for me within the hour and even attempted to offer a rental at no charge for my inconvenience.This type of professional customer care is rare in today s disposable- instant gratification market place where pennies on the dollar can make or break a local repair shop.I am sending this note to say thank you for that service. It was refreshing to find a place on earth where the customer is still more important than what is in his wallet.The repairs to my truck were executed perfectly and I will be recommending your business to all as well as using your facility for any and all of my future repairs.A sincere Thank you ,Stan Williamson

I pray I never have to take my vehicle back due to an accident but the crew on Sunset Blvd near me was amazing from beginning to end. They answered my questions (I had many). They were answered. I received text and calls during the process of my repairs.

Had them repair my vehicle twice and they did an EXCELLENT job each time (Sunset Blvd location). Work was done fast, and communication was great. Getting a rental was easy. Enterprise picked me up right from the body shop.

Great workmanship just waiting on our mud flaps still. The service was timely and staff is very nice.Caliber Collisions rude receptionist in Lexington was the motivation to come here. I'm glad so glad we came here.

Jessie at the front desk and Nick the manager are awesome. We had a great experience following a car accident. Quick turnaround on the vehicle, excellent quality, and incredible customer service. My State Farm agent recommended John Harris Body Shop and I m glad he did.

Front office staff are lovely to work with. Had some bumps in the road on the way to getting where I thought we should be in terms of a finished, returned product, but I have to say the staff reached out to me to make it all right and I appreciate that. They truly care about making sure you are satisfied.

Went to Gerber on 378 in Lexington near I-20on Friday 8/20 and was told they were busy and an appointment was made for Tuesday 8/24. I arrived early and the person working the front desk, Reese, was extremely rude and acted too busy to deal with me. When he finally addressed me, he asked how the damage was being paid. I replied by insurance. He went on to say I had to contact the insurance company and wouldn t give the estimate. However, the issue was that this question could have been asked on Friday. It was a waste of time. This may have not been others experience with Gerber, but it was a terrible one for me. Caliber Greystone gave an estimate same day, no issues. Much better service.

They called me in 3 times to pick my car up, and each time there were noticeable flaws in the workmanship which required further body work. When I finally came to pick my vehicle up (7 days after the scheduled completion date) I had to wait for an hour because they failed to wire the passenger window switch correctly and it would not function. Car was full of shop dust and strong paint smell upon pick up. I cannot recommend AGAINST John Harris enough.

This place was recommended to us by our insurance provider. After over a month, they are now saying it will be several weeks after their quoted date because they are short staffed .We all have problems, yet this shop can t keep track of what they have told us and when. They said they ve assessed the damage, now they say they have not yet assessed.There is a lot of competition for body shops. Choose one better than a shop staffed with people who can t figure out which shoe goes on which foot.

Took my car in for repairs after a collision. I was in the process of getting the at party s insurance to claim liability for the collision, when they called to tell me my car was ready they stated I had to pay the $500 deductible I asked if they would call my insurance company to verify. Jesse states that it would have to wait till the next day because the insurance company closes at 4pm. Witch is a lie because Usaa doesn t close untill 9pm EST.The repairs we not to my satisfaction and I wouldn t accept the car, the rude front desk girl stated she would have to call the insurance company the next day. Again because they were closed. The next day Gail called me with an attitude saying she did not see anything wrong and they would not repair the damages item. When I politely asked her not to get an attitude with me because I was being polite she stated she did not have an attitude. I sent my husband to pick the car up because and he stated that she apologized for making me mad I have never seen such poor customer service. Will it go back!Service: Body & Trim

This was not a very good experience- actually it absolutely unproductive in every way. The store still carries John Harris's signs and staffs, which (hopefully) explains it. The broke my key FOB, refused to do any actual repairs and embarrassed me mightily in front my insurance adjusters- whom should never have even had to get involved. They say never make business personal, so I guess that explains why Gerber had the fortunate opportunity to buy them out- Good luck, regardless.EDIT: Since submitting this review, the shop manager has repeatedly called, threatened, harassed and coerced my personal phone and personal life. Absolutely unprofessional on every way: -1 star

Not a true body shop. They DO NOT remove panels to repair or paint most of the time. Body work is ok. If you just need your vehicle repaired quick to sell it or trade,here ya go! If you care about how nice your car's finish is,not the place for you. Wife's car the clear coat started to peal and fade where it was blended. They did offer to repair it for free and were very eager to fix it. Given the car is a nice vehicle and my wife's pride and joy,we took it to a professional body shop instead.

Best location and service provide at John Harris Body Shop on Sunset Blvd. The entire staff from the Mgr., Nick Stowe to the Administrative staff and of course the Technicians in the shop are 5 stars. We have taken several of our vehicles their in the past and had great outcomes. With the new leadership the shop is working miracles! They even have refreshments while you wait. I have referred a friend of mine and they their vehicle to JH Body Shop on Sunset Blvd. and were simply amazed. Their vehicle they had been told by another "professional" that basically the car wasn't worth fixing. That they should just buy a new car. Not the case! Car was salvageable and worth repair and JH performed their magic and was very affordable. Happy to make future referrals!

John Harris repaired my Ford Expedition after I hit a deer. The car is only 1 month old and the repairs were extensive yet you cannot tell it was ever damaged. i had some work done couple years ago thought the work was up to par. price was high but if you want quality ( you are going to pay for it ) and i was ok with that.the reason for three stars when i came back this year to get some other work done the person was a bit rude acting like she did not care for my business tryed to push me to come back in three days later just for the estimate , any i end up going some where else were they appreciate it my business.

John Harris Body Shop stands behind their work. Nick Stowe, the manager at the Sunset Blvd location took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied with the repairs on my vehicle. I had some minor issues with the paint job, and he quickly took care of the issues. Very professional service.
