I had my van painted, found a package of fish in the door panel, the paint had runs on doors, paint is already peeling. Not what I expected for $1800.00. Back of roof edge doesn't even have any paint. Not a professional job at all. It's sad that quality of work has gotten this bad. People ask me, didn't you just have your van painted. The original paint lasted well over 15 years, this paint job , not even two year, pelling already. I am not satisfied at all, especially what I paid. I might have to get a Attorney involved.

Mr. Sims did great job at a fair price. He went over the scheduled time of job completion and I wasn't notified of any delays. I'm happy with the results and would recommend him to family and friends.

Sim's Body shop has an amazing team. The work and the team is outstanding. I get first hand watch these guys put thete heart and souls into every job the do.Its really nice when you see Mike the owner take his time to talk one on one with the clients..Mike works hand and hand with all clients. I am definitely looking forward to doing a lot of business with Sim's Body Shop. I will be looking forward to seeing your vehicle's leave Sim's Body Shop better than it was when you first bought it.Thank you very much Mike..

My disabled mother took her mustang here for some body work after an accident and they told her it would be 2 weeks, and its been well over 2 months. I live 6 hours away or I would come take the car back myself and take it to a shop that is honest and can do the job in a timely manner. If she doesn't get her car back and fixed right by the end of the week I may just make a trip down to SC just to handle this. I feel like this business is taking advantage of a disabled woman because they know she can't come by and check on their progress.Service: Body & Trim

Does not do quality or timely work, I had a small car and he had my car for over a Year, he told me he couldn't find the parts. So I found them an order them within two weeks I got them to Mike the owner. So with me checking monthly and him always saying I should have you finished in two weeks. So when I finally got it back, he got upset with me because of all of the mistakes and Imperfections that I pointed out to him after a year. I would definitely NOT recommend him to anyone else

Mike and Marty are very knowledgeable of repairing vehicles after accidents. Paint was matched so good that we were unable to tell the difference. They also take extra steps to make their sure that the customers are satisfied. RE: removing extra small dents and touching up areas that have chipped paint. PRICES ARE BEYOND REASONABLE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Had a ball joint snap and I skidded out and did some damage and I went through an insurance claim. I used Sims because its right in town and ive heard great things about them. Cant say id call it a great experience but I will say Ive worked in and am very experienced in the automotive field and know when stuff isnt right or when its done poorly so I notice things the average customer wouldnt.... Luckily. I called before the truck was dropped off and the person who answered didnt want my name or contact info and said itd be taken care of even though I tried to give the info. The truck sat a week and they didnt have any info on it or know whos it was until I called to check on it. The communication wasnt very good and they had a lot of trouble getting my aftermarket parts even though I offered to get them myself ahead of time, some of which I ended up having to get myself after a long, long wait and failed attempts on their part. My truck was down for well over a month being worked on and sat for weeks without any work being done. My insurance rental ran out because it took so long. The shop they used to sublet the mechanical work said they replaced all components on the side. NOPE! They just wiped things to make them look clean and new. They left a clearly bent after market heavy duty tie rod(steering) and then sims tried to tell me it was supposed to be bent when I know better. The one ball joint that was actually replaced was for a light duty truck When I have an HD diesel(dangerous) and was installed wrong. The wheel bearing shouldve been replaced but wasnt and the speed sensor that the wire split on was taped back together. The brake line that was replaced wasnt tightened all the way and leaked all over. The tire was shredded and flat on a side and wasnt replaced. The work sims did personally had issues as well. When i got the truck back just checking things over, the tire lug nuts were only finger tight and couldve caused another wreck. Sims said they tell everyone to check their car out but what about a grandmother or someone who relies on a shop to be able to fix their issues because they cant themselves?? The bumper was crooked and bolts came loose and I had to later tighten. The fender they replaced is extremely poor quality and thin and rattles and the bolts werent all tightened, still rattles after being tight because its so thin and flimsy. The paint on my drivers door has a blotchy area. My truck is grey and all the black trim had white overspray from another vehicle In the shop. They almost seemed to try to dodge my calls when id check on the truck and I had to basically call regularly several times a day to finally get answers. I was hoping for a lot better. They saved me money but when i have to fix and replace things myself it defeats the purpose. Id rather have it done once, the right way. I will definitely not use them in the future and unfortunately I cant at all say id recommend them.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim, Brakes

So my mom got side swiped and the truck was totaled so we took it to mile sim affer we got it to were it was drivible once we got it back it looked better than what it wose before she recked it
