Skylar was a very persuasive sales person, Levi did an awesome job explaining all about the camper, Chad and James were experts at getting our hitch to line up perfectly and made towing our camper back home a breeze!!Best deals on Campers in South Carolina and maybe the world!!

Zac Brand was the salesman who helped us, we were first time buyers who are looking to start traveling for work. He took excellent care of us and did everything he could to push this sale through for my boyfriend and I. He even personally recommended the camper we bought and we loved it! I highly recommend him and this company all together!

So thankful Awtan & Josh were able to get me and my family into a new camper! Evan helped with the demo and made everything look nice and ready for pick up! A special thank you to Hannah, she bonded with my one year old while we waited for the demo to be ready.Quick, easy, and highly recommended.

We purchased a new RV here last month and there are definitely some rockstars working here, but unfortunately they were overshadowed by employees in other departments. First of all, there were two employees who provided us with an exceptional experience - Hannah in parts and Devyn in Finance. If my experience was based solely on dealings with these two employees this would easily be a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the experiences we had with service were less than desirable and our salesperson was about average for the industry. My biggest complaint was the lack of respect for my time. Don't schedule me to come in to complete the demo at 12 but not have anyone available for another 90 minutes! The individual from service who was supposed to provide a demo of our RV didn't know anything about it. I had done extensive research so I knew what most of the features did, but he was pretty clueless. Good guy, but just clearly did not have the education on this particular unit in order to be doing the demo for us. Once we were done with the demo we visited the service advisor and provided a few things that we found on the demo that he said they'd addressed. I explained to them that I would be picking it up Saturday morning and they assured me it would be travel ready. Well when we arrived there was no power to the unit, everything was completely dead, and nothing was stored where it would be ready to pick up and tow. We spent the next two hours having techs troubleshoot the electrical system and eventually fix it, but this should not have been the case. I felt like I went over and above to try to have this coordinated through sales and service, and was reassured the night prior that everything was good to go just to arrive and find out otherwise. A complete lack of respect for my time.I'm not sure I would buy from this dealer again. Really the only reason I ended up here was because they were the only dealer with the unit I wanted in stock and they beat the price of the dealer I was working with in Georgia. They just seem like another big corporate chain focused on nothing other than pushing out units and once that paperwork is signed you're placed back on the bottom of their list.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Blue Compass RV in Ladson, SC, and I can confidently say that their service exceeded my expectations in every aspect. My initial contact with Blue Compass RV Charleston was prompted by a leaking issue that had not been properly addressed by another Blue Compass RV location/dealer. Erin, the service advisor, was a beacon of professionalism and efficiency from the moment I called. She promptly scheduled an appointment for me, taking the time to understand the previous work done and actively working to figure out the details of the necessary repairs and cost coverage.Throughout the process, Erin demonstrated exceptional communication skills. She kept me informed via text, updating me on the progress and ensuring that I was aware of any delays. When it came time for my appointment, Erin greeted me with a warm smile, making me feel like an old friend. Her accommodating attitude was evident when she arranged for the technician, Roberto, to join me and personally inspect the issues under the rig.Though I was fortunate to have family nearby, Erin made sure I knew about the amenities in the waiting area, including great coffee and snacks. Her attention to detail even extended to handling a minor issue I forgot to address upon dropping off the RV, responding promptly and taking care of it without hesitation. One of the standout moments of my experience was Erin's commitment to transparency. She provided a realistic estimate on the time of pickup, and even though the repairs took a bit longer than expected, she ensured that the job would be completed that day.During the pickup, I requested to inspect the work completed, a request that was met without hesitation. Erin went above and beyond by having the service technician, Eli, and his apprentice, Roberto, available to answer any questions I had. They not only addressed the initial issue but went the extra mile by replacing all plumbing to the first grey tank, rectifying a previous error.Blue Compass RV Charleston is a dealership that truly understands the meaning of professionalism and customer service. They prioritized communication, demonstrated compassion for my previous experience, and showcased a commitment to excellence in their work. I highly recommend Blue Compass RV Charleston for their outstanding service and dedication to customer satisfaction.

If I could leave more stars for my salesperson I would. The wife and I were looking at toy hauler campers and stumbled upon this dealership. I was nice at first because we got to look at campers by ourselves with no annoying salespeople tracking you down. Then all of a sudden here comes this younger woman out of nowhere and were like great here we go. We were nervous at first because she seemed like a ditzy blonde and we have owned campers before and know how this goes and thought she's going to give us some kind of sales pitch. Luckily, she told us this was her 2nd day in sales but had worked in parts for a few years and did not try to give us a sales pitch. Whatever information she didn't know, she made sure she went and found out. She asked us what we were looking for and didn't try to tell us what we wanted or needed. She even printed off spec sheets for us and sat down and we went over every little detail until the wife and I picked the one we wanted. We picked a used 2024 Grand Design MAV27 and on the day of picked she informed us that the ladder for the roof was bent, and the awning had scratches. Before I could even get a word in, she said I've already got both items ordered. I didn't even notice it when we were looking at it multiple times. So, at the end of the day, she is a ditzy blonde but the good kind, if she doesn't know it, she will find out and she was always in a good mood. If you leave unhappy or not in a good mood, it's not because of her. We had a wonderful experience with her and definitely recommend everyone to ask for her.

What an AWESOME experience! I'm going to forget some people to thank because so many added to my great day: My first NEW camper. (I've had an old used one before.) Erin my sales associate: She listened to me and showed me a coach I had researched for 4 months, but hadn't seen in person until RV One. Houston my finance associate: No hiccups, no problems, no worries. Kelli my new coach concierge: She wouldn't let me leave until I knew EVERYTHING and felt comfortable. Everyone in the service team: It's a new coach! A little trouble getting it hitched, but they worked with it, lubricated it, and insured all was safe and stable. I'm on my way as a travel health care provider. RV One Superstores had a "Just say yes" attitude. GO THERE!

This has got to have been my greatest buying experience in Charleston. Just the month prior I walked away from another nearby RV dealership, because of a underhanded ploy to get more money out of me. I'm a Senior NCO in the Air Force, in the process of moving to a new base while keeping my house and family here. As such, I am not much for the wheeling and dealing. I'm very specific on what I want and am willing to pay for my satisfaction. I keep things straight up/honest and I appreciate being handled in the same manor. (Being sought-after doesn't hurt though) From the beginning to end, the people at RV One wanted my business and were absolutely upfront about it. From the ladies at reception who talk to you like your family, to the sales reps who take care of you like your business is their first priority. Even when they got busy, they showed respect for my time by being honest and working with me to figure better timing to ensure I was also getting the best service possible. The camper I purchased was the icing on the cake (2020 Cruiser RV Embrace EL310). I knew what I wanted and they knew what I needed. With this level of service, finding the right camper was not even 25 minutes of my time. Plus their thorough walk-through of the RV ensures you can operate your new RV like you've been in it for years. When I drove off the lot with my (new to me) RV, I felt like there was nothing I wasn't ready for. Special thanks to MacKenzie, Elijah and the rest of RV One Charleston for helping me as I am making this new transition. Thank you all, for your service.Respectfully satisfied,Rich Johnson

The entire experience with RV One was great! Christina was our sales person. We now call her family. She s extremely dedicated and not once did she try to push us into an RV. She held our hand through the entire process once we narrowed down our selection. We were also fortunate to get the best demonstrator in these parts when we were assigned to Kelli. She really knows her stuff when it comes to Grand Design. Very happy customers! The only difficulty was getting her home and temporarily settled in our driveway.

Devyn, Eric and wonderful Pete - from day 1 worked hard and tried to create the best deal for all - we had another company we were going to work with and they disappointed us last minute - Blue Compass staff met the deal we had, and made our purchase easy and didn t disappoint. Great attitudes and welcoming staff and environment all the way.

We had an axle warranty issue with our Intech Horizon and Erin in the service department went above and beyond, helping us to coordinate with Dexter Axle and settting up a time to have the axle replaced. The service department was prompt and efficient with the repair, and Erin s professionalism and courtesy will have us returning to this dealership. We highly recommend them.

Blue Compass RVBlue Compass RV of Charleston epitomizes poor customer service with the exception of one employee. From sales to finance to service they re all incompetent. Sales reps don t know anything about sales or campers. No one can make a decision without consulting a manager or foreman or most times both. When they can t offer you an answer or an appointment they simply say we ll call you back and then never call you back. I ve been told someone will call you back about eight times now with absolutely zero calls back. This isn t isolated to one department but multiple. It s has been 48 days since I put a financial hold on my new camper, 36 days since all final paperwork was done and the loan on the camper I traded in has not been paid off. Blue Compass advice to me was to continue paying for both campers and then work with the bank for a refund once they (Blue Compass) get their $h!+ together and the financing goes through. When I called today I was told payment was issued this week. Great! Can I get the date and a transaction number to provide to the old bank? . employee X is on the phone with them now and will most definitely call you back . Guess what it s nearly an hour and a half later and no call back. IF you know that it was processed this week, how can you not simply provide that information? It s unbelievable! The service department is just as bad. I had a few warranty items and minor damage repair I needed done (still do). I called multiple times over multiple days and each time I was told I have to check with my foreman and service manager AND I ll call you back . It s been 3 weeks, zero calls back. I ve moved on to a reliable mobile tech and will NEVER again utilize Blue Compass for service nor anything else for that matter. To the one finance guy who has a clue, run man! Go work for a company that deserves you. Any potential buyers, RVers who need service, or if you re even just interested in a camper save your hard earned money and go somewhere else. If I had known it was going to be like this I would have gone elsewhere. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT shop, purchase or utilize Blue Compass RV!

I agree with another reviewer who said customer service is disgusting; probably one of the worst I've personally experienced. Before writing this and reporting to the BBB, I gave Elisha a chance to respond. I've not heard anything back after emailing him personally, which isn't surprising because it's what we experienced from day 1-no call backs and you have to chase them down to get answers. At this point enough time has gone by to where it's not about the wasted money, but rather getting the word out about the lack of service, communications, and management that we experienced. We literally got our camper back in worse shape than what it was when we dropped it off. When we picked up the camper we had to wait for them to change out the locks because they lost the keys. The awning was supposed to be fixed. When we dropped it off, the arm would at least extend part of the way. When we got it back, it wouldn't extend at all, and there are scratches that weren't there before. A video of this was immediately sent to both the service rep and emailed to Elisha- no response. The slide was supposed to be fixed for a leak. The fix was a piece of white tape that sticks out like a sore thumb against the black surface, but even worse, it doesn't stick when the slide is pushed in/out-it's already crinkled and coming off. Pictures were immediately sent for this as well. I'm not sure what we were charged for this because our receipt isn't itemized. Lastly, the roof was to be inspected, cleaned, and spot sealed. There's no mistaken the huge clumps of caulk so it was spot sealed, but the cleaning is questionable. I believe this is the $199 roof special (again receipt not itemized). Pictures of this were also sent via text and emailed to Elisha- again no response. All of these pictures are being shared here so you can review and see for yourself before scheduling a service appointment. Unfortunately the video of the awning is too large to attach but rest assured it's in the hands of multiple people at RVOne. I'm sure the demeanor of the GM is much different for a new sale vs. a service. While the work performed was terrible, the way we were talked to, and how the situation was handled, was worse.

Purchased an RV from Blue Compass and want to share that the experience was outstanding. Brett Smith was my salesman. The full team behind him were completely on their game. Many thanks to Houston for taking care of the paperwork, Levi, James, and Matt for addressing all of the mechanical issues, and Micel for her help with the slide toppers. The entire team was completely organized and I am happily sitting in the RV now.

My husband and I had never even entertained the idea of an RV, until we saw a video walk-through of the new Brinkley. After speaking with Julia at Blue Compass RV, we are now seriously considering RV life. Julia was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with all of our questions. If and when we decide to make a purchase, Blue Compass RV of Charleston and Julia will be the ones to get our business.

I placed a down payment on a Super C RV. When it was delivered it was a total disaster. The RV was damaged from water intrusion, filthy on the inside and in overall poor condition. The staff at RV one from Elijah down to the sales person did nothing to rectify the situation. I would avoid working with this business.Update after I posted this review, the manager of Blue Compass called me from three different telephone numbers in short order. Thinking that there must be an emergency from someone I know, I answered the phone. When I finally spoke with him, he begged me to take down the review and offered me a Starbucks gift card and then, oddly enough, offered me a sales job. As stated earlier, I would avoid this place. It s a chop shop and you feel literally like you need to take a shower as soon as you leave there or even interact with anyone from this place of business. Having updated my review, I fully expect to return home and find a boiled rabbit in my backyard la Fatal Attraction because these people are not right.

Shout out to Matt and Chad in the service dept. Professional, thorough, patient, trustworthy and dedicated to customer service. These guys went above and beyond to solve a major problem for us that was no fault of theirs or the dealership. We had a motorhome transferred from KY for purchase. A major component was not operating making it impossible to use the motorhome but Matt identified the problem very quickly and then both he and Chad spent weeks wrangling with the manufacturer to get the right part and then a working part and several back and forths to get the correct firmware for the part. The manufacturer was a nightmare, and we were very impatient purchasers but Matt and Chad stayed determined to make it right for us. They professionally dealt with our daily phone calls, answered every inquiry we had, and Kept us updated every step of the way. Outstanding service. Five. Stars for the service department at this dealership!!!

We traded in a Thor Windsport for a beautiful 2019 Newmar Ventana. We had a great experience with the entire staff. Travis, the sales manager, and Elisha, the general manager were always welcoming and helpful. Erin Strauss, our salesperson, answered every question thoroughly and we really enjoyed her personality. Erin Spivey did a great job showing us all the features of the new coach. Turns out she is a former student of mine when she was in 8th grade! We plan to keep in touch with both Erins as we travel the country. Great experience all around.

Found a RV online that was within budget although it was at the higher end of our budget. We went to look at it then sat down to discuss a deal. When we told the salesman we were cash buyers, we were informed that they couldn t honor the internet price and the price would be higher if we didn t finance the RV. No place in the online ad did it state that you needed to finance through Blue Compass ( at almost 10%) in order to work off price displayed on internet.
