My wife and I moved here from NJ just over a year ago. We bought tires next door and they recommended Automotive Solutions.Joe and Joe are the best auto repair techs I have had and there have been many since we are in our 60 s.No appointments needed. Just drop off the car and let them do what they do. The pricing is commensurate with the quality and timely work they perform.I have used them about six times already and not one experience has been anything but a 5 star rating.They are easy to deal with, honest in their appraisals and have completed almost every job during the same day the car was dropped off.If you have a repair tech who is as superb as they are, that s great! But if you have any reservations about your current tech, make the switch!You won t be disappointed!

Just getting home from picking up my truck from Automotive Solutions, once again I am completely satisfied with the quality, speed, and price of the repair. I have been using Joe for many years and several makes and models of vehicle. I used to do a lot of work on them, but I feel that if I m getting quality work at a fair price, I can save my back and my knuckles. I would and have recommended them to friends and family. Amazing honest customer service. Was recommended by a few regulars I serve and I will definitely recommend this business and be coming back. Very affordable and saved $$ from having to take my car to the dealership ! Thank you guys!

I found this shop after looking around on Google Maps one night. My mom and I have two German cars that are over 10 years old and one of them needed an oil change. Joe and Joe are punctual, friendly and their prices are very reasonable. They made me feel safe leaving the cars there to get looked at. I really look forward building a long relationship with them and I am so happy to finally find our family mechanic

Had to have a emergency repair when my Nissan Xterra transmission shifter bushing went bad while at Ace He hardware. The shop was recommended by an employee at Ace. Had it towed to the shop and they had the repair completed by the evening.

We have used these guys many times. They are honest, thorough, fast. They address what issues WE have before they begin suggesting any other fixes. When they do make suggestions they tell you why and how it will be fixed and how much and they don t try to talk you into something you don t need. We ve brought all three of our cars in for work and we ve never felt cheated or as if the work wasn t done properly. They are also fast at addressing what is wrong. We brought our car in this morning and within maybe 30 minutes we got a call back. We highly recommend them.

Joe and Joe have been our mechanics for years. They are knowledgeable and courteous. They are also excellent. Even though we have moved further away, they are still our go to repair specialists. Do NOT believe any of what you read in all these wonderful review. Do yourself a favor and judge for yourself as I did. I am a born skeptic. By far they are the best automotive repair shop I've dealt with in Charleston and the surrounding areas and believe me, I've dealt with plenty. Joe and his Son doesn't tell you what you want to hear , they tell you what you need to know . I appreciate honesty and fair pricing and that is only some of what you get here. Not only do I take my vehicles there, my wife, son and daughter does as well and we are all of the same opinion about this place. I ve had work done on my car twice at Automotive Solutions and let me tell you they are awesome! They are family owned, father and son. I appreciate that they didn t try to get over on me just because I m a woman because I ve had that problem at other shops. Their prices are fair. They get the work done in a timely manner and I appreciate that they keep you in the loop about what s going on with your car.

I have had 2 urgent repairs on my vehicle in the last two weeks. I also had a oil leak earlier in the year. All 3 times they have taken care of the issue quickly and completely. The 2 urgent situations they got my vehicle in quick to figure out the problem. I knew it could still take time to fix, but they always had it done earlier than expected. They are honest and helpful. I will continue to take my vehicle here.

Honest and very reasonably priced. Professional quality work. My go to auto repair place for all of my family's cars. I've saved many hundreds of dollars by using this place. You can trust that they won't charge you for repairs that you don't need, and not over charge you for those that you do. Highly recommended!

I took my '04 350z to Automotive Solutions today for a manifold gasket leak repair and oil change. Joe Sr. gave me the total price and told me it may take a while, a couple of hours to complete the job as his son Joe Jr had already started to get to work on it straight away. I was willing to wait in the lobby area as they work on my car but Joe Sr offered to take me back to my home in his truck so that I can get other things done instead of just sitting around. I accepted his offer and he drove me back to my home which was about a 5-10 min drive. He even offered to pick me back up after the repair was done! Awesome! Im always super impressed with the customer service mentality this business extend to their customers as well as the fantastic service they perform on my car. I use to take my Z to Hudson Nissan for services, but not anymore since the last past 2 yrs. I'm always pleased with the results, the quick repairs, the attention to detail and honest communication both Joe's offer as well as the fair pricing. Definitely the best in the business, hands down! I swear I'll never trust taking my Z for services to anybody else except Automotive Solutions! Great job guys as always! You're always taking care of me and the BLACKHAMMER!. Thank you. You've got a customer for life!

Honest, dependable and excellent workmanship. We take all our vehicles to these guys and it doesn't matter whether it is removing a nail from a tire or changing a water pump they do excellent work at a great price. We trust all three of our vehicles to these professionals.

Joe and Joe Jr. were awesome help. It is so nice these days to be able to walk in or call an auto shop and speak to an actual mechanic without a sales person in the way. They helped me diagnose A problem and find a fix without wasting my money and weren't focused on commission. They are honestly just a father and son small business looking to help their customers with automotive repair.If you're looking for a mechanic I could not recommend these guys enough.

These guys are fantastic. When I needed an expensive repair, they offered me a cheaper option I would not have otherwise known about. And when my old car finally became more expensive to maintain than it was worth, they were upfront with me about pricing and never pushed me for expensive repairs. They're quick, they do excellent work, and they're honest.I can't recommend them enough.

This Father and Son team are the best and nicest people I have come across. I brought my car to them after I had it at another shop where they told me it needed a new motor and within 2 hours Joe junior calls me with a diagnosis that diesel fuel was put in my daughter's car instead of regular fuel by AAA. I paid them 470 some-odd dollars for the repair and I chase down AAA and got $394 back plus a free years membership.. they not only fixed the problem that Jennings Towing caused but they also fixed another problem that I paid for separately and the car runs like it's brand new. I can't thank these guys enough forgetting us up and running during the holidays and doing it so quick. I have four cars in my household and they will all go to the shop from now on. I know they're from Pennsylvania and I'm from New England but I'm still going to have to go for the Patriots even though I love my new found friends

The absolute best place to take your car to if it needs any sort of work done to it. They are so honest and their prices are fair. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and they more that know what they are doing. I couldn't ask for better people or a better place to take my car to when something goes wrong (because let's face it, life happens). They have always been honest with me about any diagnosis and they call me first & let me know what the problem is. Second, let me know what it's going to take to fix it, & third, let me know how much it'll cost & ask me if that's okay & if I agree. Then they will move forward & fix it. Everyone is always on the same page. With Covid going on they are open & still operational Monday thru Friday but the way it works now is you leave your keys in a key drop in an envelope with your information on it & the problem/problems that you are having with your vehicle. Then, if anything does need to be done to the car you can give them your credit card or debit card information to pay with. That way, everything is contactless. I highly, highly recommend this establishment if you need a great mechanic. They are the best! I was quite disappointed. My husband and I are new to the area looking for a reliable car service. We began researching and this place had the highest rating that we could find. Unfortunately, after driving all the way out there to get two oil changes two hours before they closed we were turned down. We were not given a reason and because new years is two days away they are closing the rest of the week and didn't even give us an opportunity to come back. We ended up having to go to another place that has less stars but we were in and out with two cars in less than 30 minutes.

Absolutely recommend to all my friends and family!! They definitely went above and beyond my expectations.Fair pricing, outstanding service, honest and reliable. Most honest mechanic I found in 20 years of living in Charleston. Fair prices, never charge for anything that you don't need, and reliable repairs. Have all of my vehicles serviced through them. Not usually a very long wait and they communicate with you if there will be. Have even driven one of us home before when we lived nearby when our repair was going to take longer than expected. Recommended that you drop vehicles off at night and leave keys in the drop box or come first thing in the morning if possible, so you catch them before they get busy. Big orange building off College Park between the on-ramp to 26 and the Food Lion at Crowfield. Can't miss it.

This father son team is the best! I'm having friends and co-workers transport me back and forth to work due to medical issues. One of my friends car died at the end of my driveway a couple months ago. She lives 21 miles away. We towed the car to Automotive Solutions and she had it back the next day. They are very honest and extremely reliable. Kudos to you Automotive Solutions!
