I came here this morning to get my tire replaced and I called ahead to make sure they could take me as a walk in. When I went to the front desk I was told they weren t going to take me today. I asked why as that was completely different from what I was told only a half hour before I came in and I got back we just aren t going to take you in . When I asked for further information the desk employee said you need to make an appointment . I then asked where can I make an appointment then? And word for word the guy said not sure and looked at a customer and said where d you make an appointment? And she said I didn t make one . A complete joke. Not only does the guy have zero clue what s going on. I believe I was racially profiled as well. DO NOT GO TO WALMART AUTO.

What I like from Walmart cara Center is the price is the best around.But you have to be patient with customer services,it takes a little bit longer .Other than that, it is good if you want to save money

The initial estimate was great. Lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful. The follow up with the manager was less helpful. They never called to tell me the vehicle is ready. When I did call, it seemed like I was bothering her. The work was done right, but the manager should be more customer focused.

One of the best and most friendly places to take your vehicle. Try to make an appointment as this helps them with scheduling.

This review is specifically for the treatment I received by Eric in the oil bay! He went above and beyond and answered a million questions i had, all without any hesitation or grief.. amazing customer service from Eric! Gable was the one who did the oil change and he was awesome as well! They got me all sorted so I could hit the road again! Cant say enough nice things about Eric! Charles was the guy who cashed me out, straightforward Jamaican, he was cool as well! Thanks again! A+++(I paid $36 including taxes at this walmart, and JiffyLube wanted $78 for same exact high mileage oil change)

The employees are great people. The work that is done is not the best. Simple oil change turned into a nightmare. 4 trips back to wal mart and the oil leak was finally fixed. Didn't have a leak until after the oil change. Shame because the people are awesome, they just don't have the best mechanic skills. Which is an issue being in the automotive department..

The lady who attended the customers was very Nice. She helped and explained why there was a small delay in service attendants, I can't argue with her honesty and straight forwardness!!! She was great in answering questions and answering the phone. I only wish good workers were recognized for their integrity and work ethics! Pay goes a long way when you have a few holding the fort up!!!!

I've never been to a Walmart auto center that treated people bad. The cashier was rude as can be!!! I turned around and left!!! Nasty attitude for someone trying to get their engine oil changed

This Walmart needs to reassess their hours of operation. I'm not from here and got a flat. Thought I could get a quick patch job at the Walmart auto center. The website said that it would close at 7pm. So I arrived before 6:00 p.m. and guess what? They're closed! I wanted to talk to somebody in customer service and ask what's going on. Unfortunately customer service is closed. Also! What a waste of a store that can provide the services they advertise.

The technician Eric was awesome. He helped save me money, the service was fast, and he was just generally nice. Pleasant surprise after seeing some bad reviews on here. I called other shops on the island and was quoted $130-$200 for a service that was only $85 out the door here at Walmart.Service: TiresService: Tires

By far the worst service in the Hilton head area. We were told that there may be a short wait for an oil change and ended up waiting over 2 hrs. We also bought high mileage oil and they put standard oil in the car. We didn t notice this until we were already driving away. The car also had grease all over the steering wheel and center console from god knows what. I would go back and request that they put the right oil in the car but I don t want to waste another 2 hours plus of my day and risk ruining the interior of my car. People should stray away from this location and get any and all services done else where.Service: Oil change

I was on vacation and they got my tire plugged and had me on my way within an hour. They were super busy too! The guys were running the register AND doing the work! It was lunch time. They were kind and I am really appreciative of there help.

Went in with a screw in one tire and was told that all four of my brand new tires were defective and needed to be replaced. They would not patch my tire. I took it to another shop in town who fixed my one tire and I was on my way. Do not go here, waste of time.

The worst place you can go to get any service the worst staff with zero knowledge I got new tires from there and every week after that my tire kept loosing air I went back there 4 times they charged me money every time but the problem never went away if you don t know what you are doing stop doing it they just suckServices: Tires, Oil changeServices: Tires, Oil change

I was alerted I had an oil in my oil pan catch. I was told they couldnt service it, and I totally understand that's their policy. However, I had to ask ask the other backup questions which I think would be second nature like, "How much oil is it leaking?" or "Does my car even have oil in it?". At such point the answers were "I don't know". Mind you, I took the car to she Walmart previously, no mention of an oil leak, they just didn't have my oil filter. This just didn't feel like customer service. I went across the street and got my oil change for 20 dollars more, but at least they we seemed much more interested in helping me.

If I could give this place a zero, I d give it a negative 5. This was hands down the worst experience. Charles was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. He never asked us for our phone number and kept telling us that he would call when the service was finished. We ended up leaving before any service was performed, which seems like a great choice after reading these other reviews. If you want good service go right down the street to Station One!!!

We always come here for standard oil changes and tire rotations. Charles is the man. He is like the uncle you go to when you have car troubles. He simply just takes care of you. So friendly and that is saying a lot considering he had has to deal with the public all day. The only issue is that it is always crowded!

HORRIBLE! RUDE! They said they could replace my battery, and that I should go walk around for 20 minutes while they fixed it. I come back and they tell me that they don t have my battery and that I should go somewhere else. They left my car running the whole time! They had my number and should have called to let me know! WASTE OF TIME, WASTE OF GAS.

Super Slow Service... faster to buy oil / filter and change in the parking lot. Customer Service was deceptive in length of time it would take to finish. Going on Three Hours.

Good service done cheap on Memorial Day. Only tire place open today that can fix a flat.Edit: my service was cheap. So much so that they stripped 2 of my lug nuts... Are you kidding me.

Awful service. They stripped all 20 lugnuts and it ended up costing me $250 to repair the damage caused by these people. (The repairs were not done at walmart) Ended up paying more to repair than it cost me for the new tires. Avoid this place at all costs.

I wish I could give them zero stars. They are beyond horrible. You call and ask their hours and are told they are open until 9 but when you get there a little before 6 they are magically closing. The person working the counter was extremely rude too.

Only place on Hilton Head Island that was open to fix a flat on a Sunday. Only took 20 minutes and they had to work on a Sunday when all other tire shops are closed. For the 1 Star reviewers - it s a Walmart, don t expect the world. They get stuff done when others can t.

Don't ever use this place for a quick oil change because they do not have someone designated for it. You have to wait for them to perform other services to people before you.

Thank you Tony at the Hilton Head location for helping me today.I had a minor issue with my car and he helped me in the spot.professional and knowledgeable all while being sensitive to my needs.

Got me in and out very quickly. Open on weekends which can be tough to find
