Cannot say enough about this place and their staff! If there was a 10 star rating i'd give them a 10.Getting ready to head home from a vacation on the Island when my Volvo wagon started sputtering. Almost dying. My husband remembered seeing this repair shop and took her there.Rob and his team at Land Speed Automotive got right on it. They ran diagnostics and found she needed coils and new plugs. All done in about an hour and with such expertise and super reasonable.We come to Hilton Head often and will bring ALL our automotive needs here.Thank you so very much.

I cannot suggest this shop enough. The owner is incredibly fair, and the customer service is unparalleled. I had an issue with my 2015 mustang gt that I could not diagnose myself. I had the car towed in and it was up and running quickly for a very fair price. I will certainly be retiring in the future and recommending friends and family to come here.If you re having car problems then give them a call!

Used to be a big fan. Rob worked on several of my cars & did a good job. However, I just had 4 new tires and all my brakes and pads done. Fast forward 12 weeks and my parking brake light comes on. Turns out it's complete locked up and is tearing up my rear calipers.Now I need new rear bracks and to fix the parking brake. The mechanic said that whoever did my brakes last time didn't use the correct tool and did something manually and it caused this issue. So here I am out another $1100 because they didn't do it right the first time. I tried to call and schedule to have it fixed and was told they don't have the time or mechanics to schedule me and to take it somewhere else. Nice. Needless to say...never going back to them again. What a complete waste of money.Services: Tires, Brakes

Could not find more stars.... He is what you would hope for in a person that is working on your car. Honest, great work and helping in a bind. Just like many others that rated land speed.....we had an issue with our ride home and it was Friday early afternoon and panic was starting to set in!!! But land speed came to my families relief!!Rob explained what was found and corrected. I feel very safe in putting my family on their 10+ hours ride home tomorrow.I would like all to know...I felt a great relief when they said they could help us....I will sleep well tonight...and family will be home tomorrow late!Thanks Rob and company.....

Rob was so kind and helpful to me. I was distressed about driving back home, about 3 hrs, the next day. He did everything possible to make it safe and explained what was broken, etc. Honesty and kindness go such a long way these days, I had to write a glowing review to thank them & assure others know this is a high quality, professional, and caring establishment.Service: Wheel alignment

It's very hard to find a trustworthy shop.Land speed auto is an excellent shop to go to and save money while you get a perfect honest service.while I was there I saw one customer asking them to put on brake pads on disc that were completely bad.the owner try to explain how these discs will ruin his brake pads and he will have no brake pads in the next few months.But he still agreed to get just a brake pads because he wanted to take advantage of the deal they offered.They will work with they will never try to force you to pay extra for work you don't need.

Can say enough about this shop. I lost brake pressure in my brake line and AC went out on a Friday before heading home Saturday and could not find anyone that could even look at my Escape until the following week. I was recommended to these guys by Station 1 who called a couple of places since they were too busy. Land Speed carefully inspected all brake lines and determined the problem, got pressure back in my brakes and were even able to determine the source of my AC issue. I had a leak in my condenser and they were able to order and install a new condenser the same afternoon. Needless to say I am so thankful for their careful, honest and quick service in getting me home safely and with an AC. I know my 3 month old was happy too because he was able to sleep almost the entire way home with our new more efficient AC system. Thanks guys!

We were in Hilton Head for a vacation when our brakes started making a grinding sound. Obviously this is never a good thing when you're away from "your guy" (trusted mechanic).Land Speed was honest with us and told us the brakes were fine and it was probably a bit of rust grinding on the rotor. They could have made a good buck on us- but didn't.Nice that there are honest people out there. The first outfit we went to said it needed new EVERYTHING, calipers, you name it. At a tune of $1200.

I discovered Land Speed Automotive through a friend of ours and I couldn't be more pleased with Robbie and his crew! This was my first experience with them and the customer service, mechanical work & consultation are second to none. I had a pretty big decision to make regarding my vehicle b/c it's a little older. Robbie was very patient as I worked through determining if the vehicle was worth repairing. He offered his very honest opinion and didn't rush me to make a decision.I wouldn't hesitate to take my vehicle back to Land Speed!

These guys rock! They helped me out when I was visiting from VA and had car trouble with a bad ignition coil. They ordered the part and installed it while I waited. Their service is awesome and they even topped off my radiator fluid and added sealant for my trip back home--no charge. These guys are the best (why are the best mechanics always out by the airport?). I highly recommend them.

This is my 4th year and 2nd vehicle serviced by Landspeed. Rob has always been gracious in answering my questions and genuine in his professionalism. When picking my vehicle up, Mike was very thorough in explaining to me what had been completed and what we should expect in the near future with continued maintenance on my older vehicle. I had an issue with our car while on vacation. Rob and Matt ran some quick diagnostics and everything checked out fine. I think it may have been a loose battery cable. They were extremely helpful and didnt even charge me anything for doing that and for putting my battery back in. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in Hilton Head!

I had a radiator hose that exploded. I got towed here. They really cared about fixing it in time so that I could drive the car home instead of leaving it there. Great work. Great price. Great guys. Very happy.

High quality workmanship and very fair prices. I have an older car and they're willing to work with me in doing repairs with parts that I am able to obtain through the car club. I have been extremely impressed with their work, and they have always returned the car without any interior cleanup required unlike my experiences with other shops I have used.

They have serviced both my daughter's and granddaughter's cars. Fixed the first time, quick service, very economical for the services done. Even helped my granddaughter out by showing her how to extend the car's life when her car was on it's last legs and the repairs were too costly.

NO COVID PRECAUTIONS AT ALL, HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL.Guy who runs the place kindly made time on short notice to check a few basic things on my car short notice before a trip. But when I arrived, he was sitting without a mask in a small, enclosed back office, told me to come back there (I should've just left then), and once he saw my license plate state, starting loudly spouting profanities about the governor of my home state and exclaiming that he doesn't care about the virus. Very disturbing behavior, and made me very uncomfortable about using the business because of the absolute disregard for covid and lack of any precautions. If you appreciate that covid exists this is not the place for you.

Have used Rob and his team for a few years now. They could not be more honest (very unlike another well know repair shop on the island that starts with an H, and ends with an H) and real value pricing. Hey, they are cars, so repair hiccups occur! Land Speed always stands behind their work. Old school money back guarantee kind of place.

Landspeed helped me out while I was in HHI for my wedding. Nobody else would even look at my car, but they said bring it in without hesitation. I told them my situation and they made sure my car was done before I had to leave and even stayed late to fix it. They really helped me out and I would recommend them to anyone that has a unique car with issues. They also didnt mind me calling every few hours to check in and treated me with respect.

Best repair shop on island. On vacation from Pa an our alternator went out. They towed an repaired within an hour and at affordable price. Thanks so much. Wish we had repair shops like yours in Pa.

I asked them to find me the cheapest tires and call me. They did not they just put on the tires without asking me. I told them I did not want the tires they were too much so I asked them to put my old tires on. They put the tires on but left the old weights in my tires put their rim weights on the outside of my black tires. They did not even balance the old tires when put them back on. when I was getting on the the highway when I got up to 50 MPH the car started shaking. I feel they jeopardise my safty and my 3 year old son. There mechanics were mad because they had to put my tires back on near closing. So they made the choise to leave my old weights in my tires and not balance the tires when put back on the vechicle. Thank you Tire Kingdom for being such professionals and fixing this problem. I know I should not have gone to Landspeed my wallet is not like the rest of their customers.
