Island Tire & Auto has an awesome Shop and Crew. They repaired a tire screw puncture very quickly. You can only post a 5 star rating but I m giving them a 10! Thank you Island Tire.

I picked up a screw in my tire the day before we were travelling back up North. They got me in and patched the tire the same day! Friendly and quick service at a reasonable cost. Thank you!

Island Tire took great care of me when I was in town with tire problems (or so I thought). They took the time to carefully look over things and test drive our jeep. Only charged me 30.00 to rotate my tires as they were just not very good tires and that was the only problem we had. I appreciated knowing I was going to get my family safely home from vacation. Brought my car in this a.m. for a coupe of problems, Victor the tech/mechanic diagnosed and repaired them in a timely manner, and the price was reasonable. Jeff and Catherine at the front desk were very pleasant and professional....would not hesitate to go back for any issues

With the latest cold snap, our tire pressure was very low this morning. After a hectic time on the island trying to deal with appointments, we stopped in at island Tire & Automotive Services for some air in all 4 tires on the way home to Bluffton. We were greeted with a smile and waved over to another set of bay doors where Danny not only filled the tires, but did so with a friendliness that brought out my conversational side. While my husband went into the office for a moment, Danny and I talked of traffic on the way to HH, the traffic in Los Angeles for me, and the traffic in NJ for him. We commiserated and laughed together. Even a difficult morning stacked with terrible traffic can be helped with a smile and a kind word. They wouldn't let us pay for the air for our tires. Thank you Island Tires for your great employees and customer-first atmosphere. We'll be back!

Our family was spending a few days in Hilton Head and had to check out on the Friday morning. We discovered this issue on Thursday afternoon.We were able to leave the car there and went about our last day there. We were fully expecting to have to stay another day, but the following morning we got a message from IT and said the car was ready for pick up. They got the parts in late and stayed to get this done for us, as they knew we had to get back and travel to Canada.We haven t stopped raving about this amazing customer service ever since!The service was amazing, the price was very fair and we will always recommend the amazing service we recieved. Our dealership missed the fact that our tires were dry rotted so a 4 hour trip to Hilton Head takes 7.5 hours to get there since we have to fill a tire up every 7 minutes. We barely make it to Island Tire fairly late on a Friday afternoon. They were wonderful. Not only did they fit us in to see what was going on, they showed us the problem, attached a spare and got us 4 new tires that Monday. They were magnificent. The people there were friendly and knowledgeable and we couldn't be grateful enough. This was by far the best automotive experience i have ever had.

My daughter and friends were in Hilton Head this week "450 miles from home " for vacation. She called me Wednesday night and said her Xterra cut off and would not start back. Sent me a photo of several dash lights. Thursday I goggled repair shops in area and read some reviews. After some research I called Island Tire and Auto. Very professional and knowledgeable with its symptoms. They gave me the number for a tow company who towed it to them that day. I explained to them she was heading back to Richmond Saturday morning . 30 minutes later it was diagnosed and approved and parts ordered and repairs started. Received 2 more updates before the end of the day from Catherine. Friday am @ 8:15 they called to let me know it was ready for her to pick up and enjoy her final day at the beach. They were AWESOME to work with. I am in the auto industry and always hoped if something happen to one of my daughters vehicles while they were out of town that someone would treat them like I treat parents children when they have situations like this here. Long story short. They did and at a fair price and quickly with excellent customer service. Thanks to all at Island Tire.Services: Electrical, Battery

We were all headed back home from vacationing in Hilton Head when we discovered that our vehicle had a flat tire in the parking garage of the hotel. We ended up filling the tire at the hotel and driving it to Island Tire, where they took us in right away.I called two other places before Island Tire - one place had a one week waitand the other place had a 3 hour wait.From start to finish Island Tire took about 45 minutes to completely repair our tire. They were polite, professional very affordable, and extremely efficient. I would highly recommend them.They even had some books for our young kids to read while we were waiting. That was a life saver.

These guys saved our vacation and are the NICEST, kindest people. We drove from Charlotte to HH and on the way we got a flat tire. This shop not only took us close to closing time, but helped us with the tire and were able to order new tires for a few days later so that we can drive home safely. They were extremely professional, super nice and understanding and my only wish is that they were in Charlotte. Thanks so much for saving our vacation and taking such terrific care of us!Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment

My wife got a nail in her tire and was unable to get a repair in at any other automotive shop in bluffton or hhi. We called island tire and they were helpful and genuinely cared, unlike some of the other shops in town. My wife expected to be stuck at the shop all day while her tire was being repaired, but was in and out in under an hour. In addition to quick and quality service their customer service is better than any others we ve dealt with. I will only be taking my car to island tire from now on.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Just so happens that at the very beginning of my anniversary trip, the axel in my car broke. Luckily some of the locals stopped to make sure that we were okay and directed us toward island tire. After getting a tow truck to come pick up my car, they had everything fixed within two days. After my vacation was finally ending, we ended up going back and getting more repairs before heading home. (Just basically getting a once over before heading 700 miles home.) They were always so friendly and caring! One of the best places and people I have ever met. 5 star rating will never be enough to show the gratitude we have for them.

Awesome people, they always get the big jobs I need done within a couple of days. They are able to get tires the next day and only take a couple hours to get your oil change done with no appointment, with an appointment it takes around 45 mins and with a tire rotation only about an hour!

My husband and I were stranded after we accidentally ran over a bolt on the road and left with a flat tire. Island tire was about two hours from closing and booked solid, but still fit us in and patched our tire or us. We are extremely greatful for them. They were so friendly and explained everything to us. I definitely feel comfortable returning here for any future needs.

5 star tire repair service! On vacation and discovered a screw in the tire over the weekend. Major Bummer! I was very worried about the cost, hassle & possibly getting hustled cuz I was obviously a vacationer. Turns out no worries were warranted. Monday morning I was able to drop it off as a walk-in and the repair was done within the hour for a very fair price. They did a patch instead of a plug which I thought was a good idea for long drives. Definitely very fortunate, and grateful to find them. Solid recommendation for those in need.

I had a slow leak in one of my tires and was told by other repair shops that they couldn't possibly see me for a few days. I had the good fortune of stopping by and speaking to someone at the south end of the Island and they recommended I call their north end shop to see if they could fit me in and as fate would have it I was told that they could fit me in if I didn't mind waiting a hour or so. I went and waited a short while and was happily back on the road. I highly recommend giving Island Tire & Automotive Services an opportunity to serve you with any car repairs. They were professional, accommodating and price friendly. I plan on taking all my cars here whenever they need service. You should too.5 Stars:

I would love to give Island Tire & Automotive North 10 stars. Catherine provided excellent customer service and went out of her way to accommodate the diagnosis of our tire damage and the ordering of a replacement tire size that they did not have in stock. The initial visit was completed in 30 mins. We happily picked up our new tire the next day. THANK YOU CATERINE & ISLAND TIRE.Service: Tires

Super nice guys; they were accommodating and helpful in describing what I needed and WHY. VERY fast in terms of availability for service. Timely and delivered on time, as promised. Even cleaned my wheels, which had horrible rubber dust prior to them fixing the brakes. We bought tires there & our vehicle indicated tire pressure issues. We pulled up to their service bay & they immediately adjusted the tire pressures to mfg specs. The service tech was polite & conducted himself in a professional manner.

During a long drive from Ontario, Canada to Hilton Head my dashboard alerted me to a problem with tire pressure. I checked all tires every time we stopped but saw no drop in pressure in any tire. I was pretty sure there was no problem but I was worried during the entire balance of the drive. I took my car into Island Tire, explained the problem and they said they would check it out. A few hours later I was told there was no leak and that they had reset the sensors in the car. I expected to pay an hour's labour and I was surprised to be told there was no charge. Towed in after the oil pressure light came on and the car stalled. It's an old car, and I started to dread buying a car 800 miles from home with three days left of vacation. They identified that my oil filter had gone missing, patiently answered my questions, and got us back on the road the same day. We're home, and the car is running great.

I had new tires installed yesterday and noticed I had a flat from a faulty valve stem. I called multiple places for quotes and got the best one from Island tire. I went there and the friendly staff had my tire fixed in less than 10 minutes. They took really good care of me and were extremely helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

We were on vacation and arrived on the island on Saturday and our brakes started to grind. We asked some locals and this shop came with the highest praise. I called on Monday and they got me in immediately and diagnosed by that afternoon. Barry is the best and helped us out more than he will ever know. We took our car in Friday morning (it's Monday now) for a flat tire. They "fixed" the tire and sent us on our way. The tire pressure light was on the whole time but thought nothing of it. Than come Sunday evening we find the same tire flat and had to Uber from work because the car was with my fiance at home and she can't change a tire. Than when we got in contact with them Monday morning they told us they would look at it and fix the issue. I changed the tire again and came in. We decided to walk around Walmart instead of waiting there. For them to call and say it wasn't repairable because there was a tear on the inside. So we had no choice but to buy a new tire from them. We didn't even want to bring up the argument on why it wasn't repaired in the first place and we were still charged for it. Because it's a car shop and they'll throw so many words at you that say it wasn't their fault. I'm expecting something similar in response. Never coming here again.

I've been to both Island Tire locations on the island and always have a great experience. I got 2 flats in the same week, for the first one I went to the south end location and they fixed it right up in no time. For the last flat, I went to their north end location and they were able to patch the tire and install some new lug nuts on all of my tires that I provided them with, at no additional cost! Mark was very pleasant, he took excellent care of my vehicle. I highly recommend Island Tire and will send friends and family their way with any mechanical concerns. Thank you!
