Nick and John from Auto Pro of Hilton Head provided exceptional service during our vacation. We picked up a rental vehicle for a 10-day vacation in Hilton Head. After getting to our hotel and going out to dinner, we came out from dinner and our tire was almost flat. We went to Wal-Mart and another car service company that offered car services and everyone was closed. We found Auto Pro of Hilton Head and drove to their location (after stopping at a gas station to fill the tire again with air). They closed at 4 PM, but were still there working. It was 7 PM and they didn't hesitate to help us. They got the screw out of our tire and plugged the hole. They provided exceptional customer service and made it painless - kind, helpful, and did not seem bothered at all to help us even thought they were closed. We can't thank them enough. It is RARE to find this kind of customer service today! I would highly recommend them!

Bill and his entire crew are life savers!Discovered a flat tire as we began to pack our car for the ride north. He was able to look at it, determine it was repairable and fix it in 15 minutes.THANK YOU

Awesome shop. Was in SC for a car show and had an issue with the rental SUV tire and this shop help out right away. They even discover the tire issue was not my trip from TN to SC. So skip the big Corporations and just go see Bill.

We were driving back from breakfast on a Wednesday morning when my daughter, who we were visiting, said " Dad what's that noise". I had noticed a noise coming from one of the front wheels, but with the air and radio on without people in the car never realized who loud it was.I call the Lincoln dealer and got a machine. Left my name and number but never a call back.I found AutoPro on Google and called. A pleasant woman answered and told me to stop by after 1PM. Bill took the car for a drive and told me it sounded like a bad wheel bearing. He asked where I was from and told him PA. I said we had to leave that Saturday for a 750 mile drive. He said that he had heard better and worse but thought I would make it home okay, but if I wanted to be sure, he had a cancellation on Thursday where he could replace the bearings for peace of mind.He called me about two hours after I dropped the vehicle off and told me the bearings were fine and the noise was the result of cupped tires due to bad shocks.He could have tried to sell me various things but simply told me to get rear shocks and shocks when I got home. In addition he performed a safety check.It is very rewarding to find a business with honesty and integrity.I would highly recommend them to anyone needing car repairs on Hilton Head.

We had a noise that started before our trip from Ohio to Hilton Head and it just got worst overtime. Every other mechanic shop was busy but Auto Pro was able to get us in to disagnos the issue. It ended up being extremely minor and was fixed within minutes. He then sent us on our way with a more than reasonable diagnosis fee.If we are ever in the area again we know exactly where we need to go for anything car related.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my 2007 Chevy Avalanche to Auto Pro in May after being taken advantage of by a repair shop in Savannah, GA (Wilmington Island) and Bill went 'above-and- beyond' to help me get my truck fixed correctly. Was on my way to Hilton head when I had a major ABS / breaking issue. The team at Auto Pro took the time to drive my vehicle, diagnose the problem, and get it fixed all a day before I had to leave. Bill s the best! Another shop couldn t figure out the intermittent stalling in my Jeep Wrangler. I called Autopro and described the issue. As the person on the phone repeated the problem back to me I heard Bill in the background I know what that is! I know what that is! Bring it in! Thank you Bill !

We had the most amazing experience and incredible customer service at Auto Pro of Hilton Head. We had seen several repair shops regarding the issue with our car, including the dealership, and no one could diagnose and fix the issue. We later found out the dealership charged us for work they did not do, thanks to Bill. Bill was so helpful and determined to address our issue. He literally knows everything there is to know about cars. If he can't figure out the problem, he will find a way to get more expert advice to figure it out. He helped us solve the issue in a matter of 2 days. Anytime we had a question, they were incredibly responsive. It took me more time to get there, then for these guys to work on my truck, as I was just about to start working on my laptop, they call me up to tell me my vehicle is ready!!!These guys are not only professionals but fast, they do a really great job!!Highly recommended if you are in need of an awesome crew to fix your vehicle!!And seriously I could just keep going and going!!Awesome crew!!Keep up the great work !!

I have been a customer for a few years now, and would never take my car anywhere else. Honest, fair, qualified and accountable are not usually words you associate with a mechanic! But that has been my experience! There have been times when I know I could have been charged more for the labor, but Bill and his team are so knowledgeable and they run their shop with such efficiency that they can get it done in half the time. They also have great communication with customers so you always know the status of your vehicle. I would recommend Auto Pro Hilton Head to anyone living or visiting the area!

This was one of the best services I've ever received. The folks at Auto Pro not only referred me to an excellent tow service (D&M) but had already picked up a new alternator based upon my diagnosis of the problem. The Auto Pro staff were breaking down and installing the new alternator and belt before I had finished paying the tow driver! This happened on our vacation and I was expecting not to have a vehicle for several days. All in all, my truck was "dead" no more than two hours. These folks are great! I was also very pleased with the charges. They made a bad situation work out wonderfully!

My wife and I just got to Hilton Head Island from VA. We had car problems coming down. We made it but I knew I needed to find a mechanic as soon as I got to our destination. Well, we were blessed finding probably one of the best repair shops in Hilton Head Island. They were highly recommended to us and we clearly see why they were. They worked us in their very busy schedule early this morning and now we can enjoy the rest of our vacation knowing that our car is safe to drive back home. Can't recommend them enough! Very knowledgeable, honest, super nice people and very fair price. Thank you so much!!

Best mechanics around. They know their stuff, they re fast, and best of all, they re honest! I do a lot of my own work on my Jeep, but I ll be taking it here afterwards. Just so they can let me know if I screwed up or not. Lol. Can t go wrong with these guys!

We were stranded by a broken serpentine belt while trying to leave vacation and head home. Ending vacation AND having your car break down is never easy or fun, but Bill and his crew too great care of us! They diagnosed our problem within minutes, updated our options quickly, gave us a timeline for the multiple necessary repairs, completed the work right on schedule, saved us on the costs, and made us feel safe and taken care of. We were in Hilton Head for vacation and the alternator on our minivan failed and took the battery with it. Looked at several options and decided to call Bill at Auto Pro. The AutoPro team was able to get high quality parts and resolve the issue in reasonable time while they were extremely busy. I highly recommend Auto Pro. We recently moved from HHI, and one of the things I miss most is Bill, Maddie and the Autopro team. I could always count on Bill to diagnose problems I reported, and to make sure our vehicles were safe to operate. When something was a priority, he would fit us in to the schedule and get the work done. We are on vacation in HH. I got my check engine light on. My truck started to overheat called multiple places and everyone was busy. I came across Auto Pro the owner said bring the truck in he fixed it in a few minutes and was super nice to us. Will recommend this place alot. Bill is very amicable and knows his stuff. Thank you so much for fixing something that could of have been a serious problem later on. I appreciated it lots.

I drove up to the island from Jacksonville, FL to visit family this week and as soon as I turned off 95 onto 278 realized my car was pulling hard to the left. I was only here for a short visit so called around asking for help to get the issue fixed quickly and Auto Pro told me to bring the vehicle in and they would take care of me right away. They got my car up on a lift and diagnosed and fixed the issue within an hour, and charged me an incredibly fair price for doing so. This is a family owned and operated business, and as a fellow small family run business owner I have the greatest appreciation for someone providing a fair and honest service and helping me out in a time of need. I highly recommend Bill and his crew to anyone needing service on the Island.

Nick was soo nice and helpful! Drove from ohio and my car started losing power once we got to our condo. Took it in and they got it fixed and back on the road. And working extra hard! I can t thank these guys enough!!! Got my camshaft sensor replaced before going down and the place I took it to never actually changed it! The guys at auto pro were nice enough to give me the parts back to show my mechanic! I arrived in Hilton Head with my car pulling severely to the left side. I was unfamiliar with repair places so I checked online. Auto Pro had great reviews and it was a few miles from where we were staying. I took my car in on Monday morning and I was afraid that I was going to need expensive repairs. I received a call from Auto Pro telling me that all I needed was new tires. I was back on the road on Monday afternoon and the car is driving great. They were very professional and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Price for tires was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing auto repairs on Hilton Head island.

Our car would not start while we were on vacation with 3 other women. We called Auto Pro, had the car jumped off and proceeded there. They diagnosed a bad alternator, replaced it and had us on our way within 1.5 hours. Entire staff ( including Miss Cat) was very nice, friendly and helpful. Great job at a fair price. Outstanding! The owner Bill is a no nonsense guy who knows cars. My rear AC hoses broke leaving me with a hot van in the middle of July with 3 days left on the island. Bill diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and had it fixed in less than two days giving me a cool van for the trip home at a reasonable price. If your car breaks while at Hilton Head, take it to Auto Pro.

My dad has come to Auto Pro since before I had a license.! He got propane and automotive work done by the Auto Pro team and has always had a great experience there, fast forward to now; I ve gone to auto pro once so far to get a nail out of my tire, they were closing the shop and still took me in and fixed my problem in the matter of minutes. I haven t had a problem with the tire since. Today I ll be taking my car in for an alignment that NTB on the island was unable to do.. I wish I knew about Auto Pro sooner, I would ve never taken my car to another shop! Thanks Bill!-BMW guy :)Service: Wheel alignment

If the words technical expert at a great value are important to you(if not, stop reading and give your AMEX number on the web) then you have found your place. In the last 8 years, I have brought Bill a bad water pump, an inop alternator, a broken shock spring as I was l leaving on a trip, and this week I limped my MR2 into there with a hope and a prayer that it was just a fuel pump. Each and every occasion Bill explained the good and the bad all the while keeping me updated on the status. During troubleshooting sometimes he discovers that he didn t need all the parts he ordered as a preventative measure. Does he just install them? No, he kindly returns them on his own time at no charge to you.Dropping your car off at times can be a scary proposition in today s financial climate. However, you can rest assured that Bill, Maddie and the entire Auto Pro team are going to do their very best to quickly repair your vehicle safely and the most reasonable expense possible.My only regret is that it took me 12 years here before being referred by a trusted family friend.I always drive away with the confidence that my family and I are leaving in a repaired, safe, mechanically sound vehicle.Thanks so much!!
