Found this place last minute to get some wheels and tires put on, not only was it quick but the people running this shop are some of the best I ve ever met! Honest, Knowledgeable and Fair which are traits you don t see these days especially in an auto shop! They can pretty much do any and everything you need and without a doubt it will be my new go to place! These are hard working people doing outstanding work and even though I live an hour and a half away it s worth it for this type of quality!

Terrible service on separate vehicles. Brandon (the owner)Took my car in for alignment because of inside wear on tires and a year later just realized nothing has changed. My tires have good tread but completely bald on the inside. Now i need 2 more tires and another alignment. Before discovering that i took my truck in for $80 alignment. After replacing almost the entire front suspension and over $2000 later my truck was worse than before. I took it back multiple times and wasted alot of time but just got more excuses. I took it to a mechanic and found out the new ball joints Hensons put on had no grease. After keeping my truck for 2weeks and (claiming to have driven my truck) said nothing wrong with alignment. They lied. If they had they would have noticed my ball joints (they put on)sticking due to not greasing. Now i need an alignment and will Never do business here again

My A/C compressor had been making noise since summer. Brought my truck to Henson Automotive on Friday. They diagnosed the compressor was bad and needed a new one. After talking with Brandon, I decided to have an entirely new A/C system installed. I picked it up on Wednesday with an entirely new A/C compressor, dryer, and lines. The price was much better than expected, even lower than what he originally quoted me. Best part- lifetime warranty! Thank you again for being my go-to mechanic for all of my vehicle repairs.

These guys are literally the best. I wouldn t recommend going anywhere else. They fixed my steering coupling in my sonata and charged way less than everywhere else, they were totally honest with me about everything, and they were just so much fun to talk to and hang out with. I m now about to take mine in for the air to be checked too. They got me right in. It s nice having somewhere I can trust and they re quick to help when I need it.Service: Auto maintenance

Living upstate I wanted to find a garage near me as I was new to the area.Checked for local places and found Henson was close with many positive reviews.Arramged to have a recently aquired older PU worked on, I am older and can no longer do this type of work like I used to.I called and talked to Joe and made arrangements to drop my truck off.When I arrived I looked the place over. If you are looking for Mr. Good Wrench with a clean modern shop this is not it. But don't let the outward appearance of the older buildings deter you from getting work done.Brandon (the owner) and Joe took care of me and did the work I needed done.I did not ask for an estimate but when they found I needed brakes all the way around on my older used truck they provided me with the total cost of the repairs and why the work should be done. They also mounted an outside mirror on my truck for meVery straight forward, easy to deal with and Joe and Brandon are my kind of people.Give them a try!Services: Body & Trim, Auto brake repair

I've been taking my vehicles to these folks for 4 years, and it has ALWAYS been a great experience. Relatable, personable people who talk you through and SHOW you exactly what they find; no word games and diagnostic riddles to try to pinch every cent they can out of you like some shops. Honest folks doin honest work, I'll always come here first.

Great prices and quality work. Mike, Brandon and Bob are great guys. They have been doing all the work on my vehicles over the last 6 months to a year. Most recently I was having brake problems on my truck. They could have told me I needed to replace them but Bob indicated that there was a common adjustment that often needed to be made to the drum brakes on the rear that could be the cause of the problem. It turns out that it was indeed the problem. The brakes are like new again. It saved me a lot of money I didn t really need to spend at the time. They will continue to get all my business. Thanks y all!!!

I got tires and a oil change from Henson s auto and had planned to get a alignment until the mechanics discovered my ball joints were pretty much dangerous to be driving on. They gave me a fair quote but I wanted to do them myself they gave tips and pointers as well as the best products for my money to use. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Seriously the best place in Greer to get your car fixed. These guys were so sweet and were very well informed. They knew exactly what was wrong with my car and just how to fix it. The work was efficient and quick and bonus it was at a really good price too!! I will definitely be back for any other car needs.

We've taken our vehicles to Henson's for several years and never been anything but pleased. Brandon and his crew are always knowledgeable and helpful and get my car in and out in a timely manner. Prices are very reasonable.

Called to get quote for oil change and tire rotation. Person on phone said he was owner and gave him car details, he said parents have same vehicle. Quoted $95, went and had work done, guy at counter says $121.33. I question and he says quote I received was for 5 qts oil and my car takes 8. I looked on internet and told him it is 6.4 with filter. He then refigures and credits me $8.50. I feel they should have kept to the original estimate, since owner had all facts before giving me quote.

I had moved back in the spring of 2018, & received a packet of coupons & certificates in the mail to certain places of business who were welcoming me to the area. One certificate in particular stood out among the rest, it was a free oil change/oil filter for new customers. I was already in dire need of a trustworthy mechanic to change my oil, since the dealership I bought car from was just too expensive! So this was truly a blessing! They were as good as their word, they changed my oil & oil filter, checked air pressure in tires & a few other things that go along with an oil change, & it was completely free! And they didn't try to sell me on anything else, they could have lied & told me it needed something else done, but not them they were so honest, which is a rare quality these days! And the owner was extremely friendly & courteous! He had 2 dogs out back, & me being the huge dog lover that I am, he even led me out to where they were & let me pet them which, for me, was the icing on the cake! I am so thankful that I now have a good, honest, hardworking & dependable auto mechanic to take my car to if & when anything goes wrong!

Unfortunately, bad experience. Just the facts - 1) they performed an AC boost for my SUV. They informed me that boost was option or total replacement of compressor. The AC was cool for ONE day. I assumed the fix would last few weeks or months which was fine going into winter months. But ONE day! 2) called Henson to let them know that AC was not working and could I receive a refund or even partial refund. The response was No refund will be given. Really bad, they definitely don't stand behind their work. Taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Brandon and his team are such sweet guys and know exactly what they re doing. They always make you feel comfortable and make sure you understand what s going on and keep you updated on your cars progress. They definitely have fair prices and on the type of shot to try to just get money out of you! Definitely would recommend to all my friends

Major repairs to our Honda vehicles were done well without problems. When a warrantied item failed they replaced it with no charges. Brandon and his team are always a pleasure to deal with.

I called on the way for a front end alignment after changing out my suspension and the steering was horrible. They not only squeezed me in but were done in less than an hour and what a difference it made! All of the staff were courteous and polite as well. I'll definitely be taking my vehicles there from now on!

I am very pleased with Henson Auto Service. They sent me a 'welcome to the neighborhood. First oil change is free' certificate. I like that they open at 7 am so I can get my oil changed before work. They did a great job! I'll definitely be back!!

From the first time stepping foot in the garage I felt that my business mattered. I never feared I was getting ripped off because I'm a woman. Prices are fair, they are quick and so nice and friendly. I brag to all my friends how much I appreciate my mechanic.

I got a new alternator her a few months ago and was very impressed then. A few days ago my battery light lit up again. As soon as I called I was told to bring it in immediately. I was told I was given a bad alternator which does happen occasionally and they bent over backwards to fix it as soon as possible even staying late to finish as no charge. I will never go anywhere else again. I appreciate not only there speed but that they are very nice people and never made me feel dumb for asking a question like some other places have. Brandon and Megan and great, friendly, and really know what they are doing.

I have used Henson's for the past 2 years and have never had an issue with them. I have used them for jobs ranging from $215 - $1,500 on both my vehicles and recommend them to my friends. Don't let the exterior fool you - Brandon and his team are knowledgeable and there is a reason their parking lot is always full of different vehicles.

We recently moved to the area and when my car started acting up we looked for a place just like this, we did not want to go to the cookie-cutter places like Midas or Firestone, etc., where there you are just a number. We were thrilled to find Henson.....they treat you kindly, do excellent work in a timely manner and they don t try to up-sell you on extra stuff you don t need! I will be recommending Henson to all my neighbors and friends.

A trustworthy team of professionals to do business with. I have had both oil changes and service work done here and been extremely pleased. They were able to diagnose and repair a chronic issue I was having in a timely and reasonable matter! So glad I discovered this place...

Probably one of the best and loyalty places I have been to ever. The owner is always in a good mood, I believe he shines the light of Jesus Christ. We took our car for an oil change and brake job; He fount a nail in the tire and plug it without even charging. Man can you say One of the Best!!

I took my car there, thinking and hoping that the problems I was experiencing with the car would be remedied. The car functioned " properly" for about three weeks before the problem returned. I returned to the shop, and they fixed it again, temporarily. A week later, we experienced the same thing. So, I paid for a full diagnostic test, and $247 on parts and labor, only to have the car malfunction again. I will NEVER recommend this shop to anyone!! It deserves less than half a star. I think that I'm being nice.

We are new in town and I needed to get an oil change in my daughter s car. I looked on Google and found Henson s Auto Repair Service. I called and they were able to work us in later that afternoon! The work was completed in a timely manner and the cost was fair and inexpensive! Thank you Henson s Auto Repair!! We will return for future auto needs!!!
