My boyfriend just purchased a Jeep from them this afternoon. As soon as he left and got on the freeway the check engine light came on. The tire pressure light as well. They seemed so shiesty when I was there with him. They lied and said the have all the cars checked before they sell them.! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Will update with photos if he can make it to the house smh! How can you call yourself family auto. Families need cars that are reliable to help you get to work! This is the car on the side of the road. Too bad I couldn t get there fast enough to see it smoking after it shut off!

Bailey was awesome to work with. Very polite and 10/10 would Recommend buying a car from them. Korie is one of the best salesman's i ve had the pleasure of doing business with as well. All around a great company and amazing staff!

Salesman Korie and GM Bailey are amazing ppl I just got a 2014 Dodge Durango and it s amazing. If u go and buy a vehicle from there make sure to ask for Korie and tell them I sent you. They r some amazing cars out there go find u one today. I ve been to other buy here pay here s that have screwed me and I have been treated way better at Family Auto of Greer than the other ones I have been to.

Our daughter got a ford edge 6 months ago. It's been broke down more then she's drove it. We told them when she got it that there was an issue with front axel they said they would take care of it and of course never did. We wouldn't recommend anyone go there to get a car

I bought my 2017 Kia Forte in May. The car has driven great! I did just have to have the starter replaced, but thank God for the warranty that comes standard with the car. They came and got the car, and had it repaired within 24 hours. All I was responsible for was $100 deductible! And Dorothy is the best to work with if you need a little time making ur payment!

This place lacks customer service. My 21 year old niece purchased a vehicle in April. A week after getting it she was told the fuel pump was bad. Here we are in August and she has had to have it replaced 4x. Each time with the exception of once she has had to pay a deductible of $100. The young manager lacks professionalism and has refused to help her or take care of her in any way. I strongly advise anyone to not shop at this particular location. I have shopped at and brought a car at other family auto locations, my friends have not had any trouble at other locations but this particular one lacks any customer service skills.

Bought a 2006 HighlanderT from Family Auto along with warranty. The warranty was only good at a specific shop. If you call the# on the warranty card they give you you get a advertisement. The price of there cars are higher than the Blue Book and there interest is 29 percent. If you want the name of a couple of reputable dealers that I've since found contact me and I'll give them to you. If your car breaks down have a second one because there shop you have to make an appointment.

If you get a car from family auto in Greer SC. Your money will end up like this. They don't do service check on their vehicles before they put it on the lot. Your car will eventually will have a lot of mechanical issues within two weeks of having the car. They hire undercover car thefts to come on your property to steal your car and have your insurance company to pay them a check for the car value and leave you without a car or no money back.

Do not get a CAR from these people! If your car ever has to go back & they take it be SURE you take ur belongings out of it bc if u don t the people they send to get it will not LET YOU HAVE YOUR THINGS! They will mess with your stuff inside your car! I had my last $24 dollars left in MY WALLET! And they took it!! So do not buy from them!!!

Will never be back. Sorriest customer service I ve had in a long time and I run my own business. I give these people the money that they asked for the next day they take my vehicle over one day of it being behind bc the bank was closed for a holiday. When I show up to try and work out this miscommunication they wanted more money. This is all after they sold me a vehicle with a bad motor. All I can say is be careful because they do not care about their customers.

I love Family Auto of Greer. Bailey is the best manager and car salesman that puts you in a car that you want for the low. The crew who works for him are wonderful the will go the extra mile to make sure your goals are achieved. I can honestly say we have never had a problem since being a customer since 2021. Thank you Family Auto of Greer for all you do!!!!

I visited the lot in Greer a few months ago, I would gotten a nice Buick I test drove at the lot, but they don t offer gap insurance which helps if you get in a wreck of your fault or not, so if car gets totaled then the gap would cover what the regular full coverage wouldn t, so you are not stuck with still owing on the car loan, other then that the lady that helped me was very nice and listens to what I was looking for and I was approved but that s what stopped me and I couldn t just buy gap insurance from any insurance company,

I went to buy an SUV and I found one I liked and bought it. The very next day it broke down and needed a transmission. They did put me in another vehicle but I had to settle for something I didn't really want. Now I can't trade it in until It's almost paid off. Then they will call you on the day that your payment is due. Not past due but on the due date trying to collect your payment before 5:00. Maybe it's just me but that's harassing. If my payments not late then you have no business calling me to collect my payment; that's not past due especially when I pay online and on time every week.

These people are cons! There is no rectification when they sell you a car that they picked up from the salt air of another state, which had problems to begin with. They don t check their vehicles to see if it is SAFE before selling? Facts, the car broke down 3 times on the freeway! It just seized up. Buy at risk in this state. We need transport to work and provide for our families. We pay our taxes!

Me and my wife went to this place to get a new car. We seen a lot of nice looking cars and chose one. Now I was trading in my 2009 Lincoln Towncar with 98K miles in good condition and all he wanted to give me was $500 for the trade. Now the blue book value for a trade was $3400 so they was low balling me with that. So we decided we would keep it and put down $4000. So I asked three times how much would the monthly payments would be and he never gave me an answer. It was like they didn't want to sell me the car. So I went to hendricks Honda in EASLEY and got a great deal with a 2012 Honda CR-V loaded with 89K miles. Basically you snooze you lose!

10/10 highly recommended going to see Joseph. He will take care of all your needs and make sure you drive away in a reliable car. He s very genuine and can tell he s not just trying to make a sale. I had a problem with my car last week and within 5 minutes Joseph was trying to figure out how to handle the situation, and they took great care of me and my car! Will definitely be coming back for my next car. Again, if you visit ask for JOSEPH and you will not be disappointed

I recently purchased a vehicle for my girlfriend and Craig was great very friendly and doing what he can to help. But we were having some small issues with the car when purchased, we ve taken the car back on 3 separate occasions and the issue is still at hand we called the second time we dropped it off to be told it hasn t been worked on and needed to stay all night the receptionist was rude and hung up the phone and the mechanic was even more rude. No way to treat a customer
