Take five did my previous oil change. My battery went dead about three months later, and my son was under my hood and realized I had oil puddled in my car. As soon as I saw that, I called them, Left a left a message exactly while I was calling, left my name, and my number. no return call from anyone. My husband takes my car a couple of days ago, and he tells them about all the puddles of oil, and they completely dismissed it instead of addressing it. He went there to get another oil change, and he explained to them what they did last time. They completely dismissed him. He also told him that he had pictures just like I m sending now. This message would never be sent if they acknowledged their mistake, or even tried to address it. To ignore it, that s not right. We believe in second chances, and that was their second chance. You see these guys don t want you to get out of the car, so then you don t know what s going on under the hood. I would never go back, and I would never recommend them ever again. Mistakes happen, but not even to address it nor call the person back is ridiculous. I had to give it a one star, but if I could give it a zero, I would give zero

Absolutely fantastic!!!!! They were quick, friendly & professional. I highly recommend them. Hard to find a place where a woman isn't looked at or treated like a "dumb girl". I was treated with respect, they made sure to explain things and show me but not talk me into things I didn't need or want. I can't say how much I appreciated that. I will bring my car to them from now on. Thanks guys!

Went and had an oil change done on 6/15/23. They didn't even tighten the oil cap. We are on our way out of town, and it popped off or wasn't even on when the job was finished. Thankfully, it was still in the engine bay, but oil went all over my engine area.. I've been trying to call, and no one will answer. This is ridiculous. I had family AND my child in the car.

I pulled up at 3pm for an oil change. At 5:10p I was still waiting. However, I wasn t waiting for the oil change because that had already been done. A young man broke the dip stick handle off when checking the oil. So they had to figure out how to get it out and they had to replace it. At this point, I m now 38 hot. No matter what I write here it is DEFINITELY an understatement of all the things going through my mind. There was at least 5 young men taking turns working on myvehicle and all of them were failing miserably. I couldn t pick my daughter up and she had to walk to me because I couldn t move my . Glad I wasn t far. Then I had to be in NC for work. I still have to drop my daughter off so I m beyond pissed. It was a HORRIBLE day. Brandon stood out to me though. He was genuinely Apologetic. Although it was not his fault, and he was not around when it happened, he made sure that the problem was taken care of. He even replaced my Front shield and back shield wipers. This young man provided great customer service and had a pleasant attitude from beginning to end. Corporate if you are reading this, you need to reach out to me so we can figure out what type of incentives are going to come in my favor. Y all also need to give this young man, some type of incentive or raise for a job well done. He could see the frustration in my face. He could hear it in my voice, and He is the ONLY reason that I will continue to come back if I choose to do so. The young man that broke the dipstick off can never touch my car again. Unfortunately I don t know his name but I do know what he looks like.

The guys at Take 5 Cherrydale are the BEST! They are thorough and fast. They have done everything they could for me to have a good experience. On one visit, my truck wouldn't start when they got done. The manager took the time to jump my truck, then made sure my cables were tight, just took good care of me. I appreciate them!!

I've been a regular customer of Take 5 Oil Change since 2014. During that time, I had several vehicles that were serviced, ranging from older used models to brand new. That being said, I have had quiet a few negative experiences at this establishment. I recently had an oil change on my 2022 car. I've only had two oil changes since it's new. The dealership did the first one and Take 5 did the second one. I went there for my third oil change a few days ago. For some reason their system didn't have anything about my history with them. I even had the sticker from my last visit on my windshield. But my history of many years as a customer could not be found. I showed them all the past emails that I had from 2015 up to now, trying to prove my case. The manager insinuated I was dishonest about my long history with Take 5. He had a nasty attitude and did not care about my concern over being deleted from their database. He was extremely short with me and did not want to hear anything I had to say. I felt humiliated, and I am still bothered about this! I used to receive different coupons or discounts for my next oil change as a loyal customer. Not anymore, due to my information being deleted or whatever the case! Also, I noticed that with this visit, they did not check my windshield fluid or do the customary windshield cleaning like they have done in the past. It's the little things that make a difference! I had to ask them to check the air in my tires. Fluid and air checks used to be included with the oil change. I guess this is something they don't offer anymore. I am a customer of the Spartanburg location.

Take 5 in Cherrydale is the BEST! I ve been a loyal customer of theirs since they opened because they continue to always have the friendliest, most professional and informative staff. Especially wanted to thank, Skyler and Joshua, who took great care of me and my car concerns yesterday.5 Stars - highly recommend!!

Absolutely a great experience. Sam made sure to remind me of the air filter needing to be changed. Also the cabin filter was also changed. Sam and his crew are the best!! I never have to worry after a visit to Take 5!!!

The people here are stellar, got my car revving like a hellcat v8 even though it s a Honda civic. Whenever I roll by the ladies stop and look at my car and go oh wow I bet her oil is so changed and they are right my oil is changed af. These guys changed the oil in my car so fast too, in the blink of an eye my sweet baby Honda civic is running like new again. Thank you Take 5 Oil change, my whole family loves you and my car owes you its life.

I was trying to make to a bridal dress appointment in Columbia, SC. The guy told me other than the wait for the people in front of me he s have me on it in 5 minutes, and they did. And still offered the same great service.

The team was simply great, they communicated with each other and let you know all they re doing for you and your car! I was serviced and taken care by Nat, Melvin, and Tray ! Very good, efficient and fast, highly recommend!

I loved it! It s like being at a old-fashioned gas station: Lots of "attendants" about the car, greeted with a bottle of water, they clean the glass, they check your tires and fill them. No judgement as I'm sure the oil was pitch black when I got there, just straight to work, busy bees. My only problem is I had no idea that their prices range from $50-$100 (give or take a few dollars). it was really fast and the crew was amazing but damn, that hurt my wallet.

Terrible service. I noticed oil underneath my wife s car (Honda CRV). The lower engine cover was zip tied on and all but three of the fasteners were missing. I was not told about the missing hardware nor told that they were going to zip tie the cover back on. I cut the zip tie and removed the cover only to find a few ounces of oil covering the filter, oil pan, and the engine cover. I cleaned everything up and checked the oil drain plug and it turned by hand! The darn drain plug was only finger tight!!! I ve never seen anything like this before in my life and I ve been in the 2 and 4 wheel service industry for 42+ years. I grabbed my torque wrench and tortured it to 30 foot pounds which is the recommended spec. From what I can tell they didn t over tighten the drain plug and crack the oil pan but I ll be checking it over the next few days just to be sure. I feel like I really dodged a bullet on this one and I won t be going back.

Whoever is in charge now KEEP THEM!!!!!I've been coming for a year and never got my tires inflated or windshield cleaned and my washer fluid topped off with my oil change ! That never once happened in the past. Thank you so so much. You have a great crew,super respectful and efficient . 5 stars SAMUEL IS THE BEST

5 stars for the employees. 0 stars for the owner and the corporation . My truck say 94 inside the building with no fans or cool air blowing for the customer or employees. Stop being cheap and get some fans at a minimum. Do better.

I went to get my oil changed on my 2004 chevy silverado last night, showed up at almost closing time did not feel rushed did a great job, everyone there was very nice, changed my air filter kept the old one in sight, and showed me the new one so i knew they werent charging me for something that wasnt needed, i will be back! thank you for the great service!

Good service - overpriced for the quantity of oil especially in small vehicles since they have a 5qt price minimum. Their technicians are salespeople go to a real mechanic if you have concerns about anything other than fluid levels. I will price out alternatives before I return.

Really convenient. I ate my lunch in the car while they changed my oil. Surprisingly affordable too.
