Came to Greenville for a one night get away have stayed here before no problems this time the best part of our staywas the front desk lady when and the guy that came in after her the TV remote didn't work he was nice enough tobring us another one the mattress on the couch was all springs so our grandson could not sleep on it our bed had blood on the blanket which we noticed Sunday morning best part of the stay was the great front desk staff. Was very disappointed with this stay

Renae and her team are excellent. Everyone puts their best foot forward to make you feel like you were not only welcome but appreciated, too. The hotel and its rooms appear to have gone through many recent upgrades. It's well worth the rate considering the service and location, which is an easy walk from downtown. Simply put, this Quality Inn is easily among the best of the establishments under the Choice Hotels umbrella that I have stayed in.Rooms: Clean and spacious.Nearby activities: Leave your car here. Everything downtown is within at least a 25-minute walk. Start at Swamp Rabbit Trail and work your way to downtown Greenville for shopping, dinner, drinks, and entertainment.Walkability: Greenville lives up to its reputation as a walkable city, and this Quality Inn is situated in a fine location to begin an on-foot adventure.

This was the most awful stay I ever had. They put me in a room where the toilet was broken and not fixed. while I was at work the toilet back up old sewage came in toilet and my husband service dog got into it the toilet didn't have a seat cover on it so while he was sleeping she got into it and when I get off from work I take her out to use the bathroom I see that she is not here self so I immediately rushed her to the emergency room for attention my husband is legally blind I was there until 11am when I get back to the hotel I brought her in to give her the medicine and check out as we getting ready to check out she throws up on the floor and when the front desk person comes she saw it on the floor we began to tell her what happened she goes get the DM and when the DM comes in and says yall got to pay for that she didn't try to figure out what happened or anything she was very unprofessional and she also called the police on my legally blind husband as well she asked how this could be solved we told her to pay the vet bill since it was the hotel fault she said we wasn't getting any money or anything from the hotel. They called the police on my husband but couldn't call the police on a guest that smoked out the hotel and had it smell like weed. This was the most awful and uncomfortable and inconsiderate stay I'm a platinum guest and this is the treatment I get I would never recommend this hotel to anyone I still haven't heard from the hotel to resolve our situation

We needed a hotel as we passed through. If we got here earlier we would have left. The poor remodel job they did before is peeling and falling apart. The cable service wouldn't stay connected. The ac unit is damaged and could barely keep the room comfortable. We can deal with these things but the maple syrup on the table and chairs. Empty food containers left in the room. Obvious lack of vacuuming. The sheets were clean though and we were tired from a long trip we couldn't cancel a prepaid room. The only thing we can do is help you avoid this hotel.

My issue was with the owner I never had a problem the whole time I was until I want to check out on my second visit and he would not deposit I paid cash I had to argue and raise hell in order to get my money he threatened to call the police on me several times and I told him I was not worried about but he should be worried about Jesus because that's who helped you would need........Noteworthy details: This quality inn must be better with customer especially when you own it can you let everybody know that you are the owner and you can do whatever you want or choose but you cannot choose to treat your customers this way they will not I am a one everything else was great until I met him the Indian owner!!!!! Absolutely terrible hotel. My husband checked us in. While doing so, as a courtesy, he let the clerk know that I am disabled and have a service dog. Another employee walked over and told us we would be charged $150 for dog hair in the room, upon checking out. My husband told him that that isn't allowed, under ADA laws. He then proceeded to tell him that my service dog must be in a vest with "service dog" written on it. I went in and talked with him, with the ADA website pulled up. I was very kind and told him I just wanted to straighten things out. He told me he never said we would be charged for nothing. Then proceeded to tell me that if there was dog hair, we would be charged. I showed him the ADA law against that. He still said it was policy. I asked who made that policy because it is against the law, and he said he didn't know. He finally said that we would be charged if it were excessive, and I asked who was the judge of that? He couldn't answer that either, but said he would make sure (whatever that means)? So, I thought we had things squared away and he said that my service dog has to have a vest with identification on it. I also told him that was false, according to ADA law. He told me I was being combative and could leave. I did.I have a medical procedure in the morning and have stayed at this same hotel before WITH my service dog (Yes, he is a TRUE service dog that i depend on!). No problems before, but I will never attempt to stay again. On top of it, he told priceline that I caused an incident (I was super friendly and cool the entire time, never cursed and didn't raise my voice while he was rolling his eyes, gritting his teeth and literally turning his back on me) and they canceled my reservation because of it. Terrible, terrible, terrible hotel.

I don't even know where to start...The rooms are obviously very budget. That's fine, you get what you pay for. However... the bathroom was disgusting. Hairs were on the toilet, there were stains, the bathtub had hair, and pink stains. The light to the bathroom did not work but a massive blinding mirror light provided enough light in the room. There was a bag wrapped around the smoke detector when I got in there and was held in place by a yellow zip tie. Also a couple minor stains on the bedding. The breakfast claims to be open til 10 but there's not really anything in there worth gating off. Your choice of two stale basic cereals, a watery juice dispenser, and supposedly waffles although I wasn't brave enough to try it.The worst part about my experience was being locked out of my room, harassed, and told I had to repay for the stay despite having paid in advance on their website (not third party). I showed them that the money had exited my account and gone to Quality Inn and I was told, "You can show me your bank receipts all you want you have to pay." Support was no help and said they couldn't get in contact with the hotel. On top of all that somehow the price had jumped from $89 a night (for 3 nights) to totaling over $400 not including the original $200+ I had already spent. I was later told that the person who checked me in had made an error and booked my third night as a separate stay. All in all I paid over $600 for 3 nights in a one star hotel. Words I would use to describe this place would be,Highway Robbery (literally!), Hostile, Deceptive, and Disgusting.

The hotel staff exhibited a friendly demeanor. The walls of the hotel were not constructed with cardboard, which prevented noise from neighboring rooms. Additionally, parking was always available, and there were plenty of food options in the vicinity of the hotel, including a Taco Bell that was within walking distance.shout out to Mr King and that nice African American lady who i did not catch their name on on the morning of check out 4/17/2023 who loved my fursuit costume oh and the cleaning lady tooLet's begin with entering the room. The first thing that struck you upon arrival was a strong, pungent odor that resembled the stench of something that had been wet, left to sit for months, and decayed. You eventually became accustomed to the smell, but when you stepped outside and returned to the room, the odor hit you with even greater force. The bathroom had a broken toilet that wobbled when you sat on it and continuously ran, indicating an attempt to fill up. The shelf above the toilet appeared ready to fall off, and the shower head was covered in mold that had turned it from white to solid black. Additionally, the paint on the ceiling above the shower head was peeling, suggesting that latex paint had been used over an oil-based one. To improve the situation, it is recommended to use Sherwin Williams brand paint, such as Emerald.Despite not seeing any roaches during most of your stay, i did encountered Tim and John (i named them) on the last night. Fortunately, they left me alone after i threatened them with a shoe. When you tried to open the window for fresh air, you noticed that it lacked a safety mechanism, meaning that a child could easily open it and potentially put themselves in danger. The microwave appeared outdated and untrustworthy, while the smoke detector was a solid yellow and did not appear functional. The TV had a significant gash, though it was not noticeable when the TV was turned on. Finally, a knob was missing from the dresser where the TV was placed, which was the last issue that made the situation unbearable.I have previously lodged in Choice hotels, and they were nowhere near as inferior as this particular hotel. While I am not requesting any accommodations, please do not hesitate to contact or email me if you believe it to be necessary.

Nooooo DO NOT STAY! RUN! THE SAVING IS NOT WORTH THE UNCOMFORTBILITY! I have never been so disappointed in Chioce Hotel Company as I am now. This Hotel was disgusting. There was no comfort. The room was filthy. The bathroom was horrible. The tub was dirty with soap scum, hair, and a dirty shower curtain. It was a dirty towel in the bathroom that looked used and a dirty pillow case on the bed. This was reported to front desk. Another shower curtain was placed in the bathroom and more towels but the room still didn't get clean as it should have. This place may need to be closed down due to how unsanitary it is. Be careful because your liable to take bed bugs or something home. You may want to save money but the cost will be greater trying to rectify an issue like that. Never again.

This place is a dump. The walls have holes in them, the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, there was a hole in the shower, the refrigerator door was rusted, and the air conditioner was bad. There were a group of men who just sat outside the front door and smoked, along with the desk employee. There was another group that hung out by the backdoor, with the door constantly propped open. They were there every time we came or went, and they were all sketchy looking people. I would not recommend anyone staying here.

My son and I stayed for one night and I would like to thank the staff for taking care of us. They were so helpful with helping us find some lunch while we waited for our room to be ready. After getting to our room we had a couple of issues and they took care of it within a few minutes. The location of this hotel was perfect for the venue my son went to. I will say that it could use some tlc. But, the staff was great very kind. I would stay here again. Thank u so much for making our stay with a awesome experience.

The rooms are great The location being in downtown Greenville is great. We were in room 302. I'd give the rooms and the location 10 stars alone. However, as for the staff, I did not care for Mr Brandon King and the General Manager of this hotel. I was charged a $50 deposit when checking in and was told I would receive the deposit back upon checking out. I was told by Mr Brandon King that ashes were seen in this room and he knew that we were smoking. There was no smoking in this room at any time...but I did not receive my $50 back because it was a non smoking room and it was reported to the general manager that we were smoking in the room.We are choice members, so we would not put our membership in jeopardy by smoking when it is clear we were in non smoking room. I do want to say thank you to Tawanna, executive housekeeper, for her empathy and sincerity. You need more staff members like her. She says she did not smell any smoke in the room. Other hotel guests were accused of the same thing.Another issue is the room access keys. I think this hotel needs a new way to access the rooms because every time we left the room, we could not get access back in. Front desk staff would give us new keys, then they would have to come up and let us in because we still couldn't get in with the new keys. I am requesting my $50 because I was charged another.$50 because was told there was smoking in the room. I received.the text alerts from my bank showing this. I will be contacting the bank.on this matter. This is not the last that will be heard from me on this until I am refunded.

Stayed here while traveling for work. Our company is tight when it comes to hotel budgets. But the review looked OK and it was conveniently located to my morning meetings. I had managed to get past the room smelling a little like old smoke and a foot. But I awoke to an uninvited guest in my bed. I am not freaked out by bugs but don t want them in my bed. F ing Gross!

The room and building could use a lot of up dates. The price was not bad for the condition of the building. We did not see any critters which was very nice. They should change the name because Quality is not there strong suit. Well maybe in their service. The breakfast was very nice. I would brag on it a little. We had a big torn hole in our cover and the bed was ok. The room could use some creative updating. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Hotel clerk was very friendly and thorough. We dealt with all three shifts and amazingly all of them were super friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Room was very clean, and beds were very comfortable. Of all the hotels we stayed at during our 3-week vacation this was the best.Highly recommend!

Stayed here back in early May 2022. That particular night the moderately priced hotels in Greenville were sold out. Since we were only staying one night gave this place a chance- would not stay here again. The staff at check in that evening were extremely nice and even helped us get the bags up to the room as the luggage cart was on the verge of falling apart. The hall had an odd smell. The rooms are in need of a deep cleaning and rooms need repairs. The bathroom door was falling off the wall - not off hinges, the hinges were coming out of the wall. Toilet paper roll holder broken/missing. The room didn't look dirty but just didn't feel clean.

Affordable prices and quiet hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. I m only giving them 4 stars because of the mold/dirt in the bathroom, and the plumbing. The toilet ran all night, and the drain in the tub is clogged so I stood in dirty water when showering. Not a huge problem but just made it uncomfortable.

King and the whole staff are incredible and cannot say enough about all the staff. There was not one time they did not greet me with a smile on their face and it totally makes it worth staying there! The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean, the only suggestion I would have is to put LED lights and light bulbs in each room.Thank you for making my stay comfortable.Tammy Sawyer

I'm shocked that this place is part of the Quality Inn brand. It is very run down, and the free breakfast is nothing more than coffee, a waffle maker, some yogurt and cereal. The room was dark and run down. There were only two lightbulbs in the room, a lamp and the wall fixture. The staff did bring me another lamp on the 2nd request. Some of the bath tub fixtures were missing or corroded, very ugly. There was a plywood shelf over the toilet that looked like a high school wood shop project. There were fans blowing in the hallways as though there had been a flood. The room key stopped working after one night. The elevator makes scary noises. The coffee downstairs is terrible (some machine that mixes coffee concentrate with water). I didn't try the WIFI, TV channel selection was good. There are rear exits to parking, but you have to enter the front which makes no sense. I will avoid this place in the future for sure. It's worth $30 more to not have these annoyances.

Room smelled like it had been smoked it at one point. Nasty, not clean at all. Went back and wiped stuff down myself, could have taken housekeeping 2 second to wipe this stuff down. Shower is disgusting. Floors don t look like they ve been vacuumed. Ceiling in hallways and elevator look like they could cave in any second. Could hear everything going on outside of the room. Sketchy parking lot. Furniture looks like it needs replaced. Paint/wallpaper peeling off the walls. They take payment when you book so your money is gone. Stayed on a busy weekend so couldn t even go anywhere else better. Does NOT look like pictures and reviews are misleading. This hotel is fine if you re looking for a bare minimum hotel and you don t care about cleanliness.

The staff here were top notch. They asked almost on a minute by minute if there was anything they could do. A bit of a back story first, we stopped in because of a death in the family. First room wasn't done so they bumped us up to a suite no charge as a courtesy. And as I said, staff continued to be splendid. Always professional, nice, knowledgeable, and very kind and courteous. Would and will definitely be back here to stay again.

I stayed at this hotel for a month for business and it was the worst ever. The staff were really really rude not helpful and the front desk managers were rude and not helpful as well. They tried to take my money on serval occasions and they weren t helpful at all for them to be managers. They are nosy they gossip and are mean. I wouldn t recommend this hotel for relaxation or fun. They are dirty rude and I didn t enjoy staying there at all. I m highly and very disappointed with this hotel and the way they run it. They need new employees that make people feel welcome for their guest stay. Rude employees!

Almost the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was extremely helpful but the owner evidently doesn't care about the customer. The bathroom was totally gross, mildew and dirt everywhere, no shower curtain and drain cover on tub dangling. My biggest concern was the door which didn't lock securely, I had to barricade door. I didn't feel safe staying here.

Room was what I expected for the price. Shower didn't work all that well, toilet was loose and moving. In the morning we were woken up early by the staff. For some reason the cleaning staff decided to have a very loud conversation right outside our room. They also knocked on our door multiple times to see if we were out hours before check out. We won't be staying again.

2 Star at BEST! 1/2 a star above a motel 6. Cleanliness of the rooms I would give a 3. The building is VERY poorly maintained. NOT a choice partner that I've seen or come to expect. Breakfast was advertised as free continental it's a brown bag to take to your room and cook yourself. When asked why they explain "COVID". Yet the coffee station is in a 4 square foot section with 4 people crammed in. 3 Adults saying in the room only 2 towels, Needing more then you have to bring a dirty one down to the desk for a 3rd person can have a clean towel. Historical area however this building is not part of the history but is in more disarray then the 1940- 1960 community it's around Not even a lid on the toilet. When standing out front a worker can out and used his broom "handle" to push the trash down then continued to use the handle of the and touching other items throughout the lobby. Whatever was in that garbage is not on a dozen plus things in the lobby. Will be changing our hotel tonight.
