North Hills continues to provide our family with excellent service!Their staff is always kind and helpful, and they go above and beyond. They noticed that we had a nail in our back tire and just took care of it while they were doing other routine maintenance. They re timely and dependable. They do a great job getting us scheduled quickly and provide a top notch car service that gets you where you need to go while you wait.

I have been searching for a shop for my 2000 Silverado due to Whitaker Chevrolet informing me they will no longer work on my truck because "it's too old". Well I have found my place ! Great service, clean facility and very warm and friendly folks. No pushy upsell, just did what I requested. That is so nice. I will be using them again. Thanks for your great service.

I had such a wonderful experience with these guys. My tire had blown out just down the street from them and so Rob came with me to try to get my spare on so that I could get it to the shop. The spare was a nightmare to get out as the fastener was broken, but he perservered until he got it out and changed the tire for me. I took it to the shop and they put me a new one on there and then for a reasonable cost. Thank you Rob!

Bought a set of tires there last year. Was surprised when I went back for rotation that they never input my mileage into the system so I wasn't quite sure where I was at. Not sure if the system automatically recommends a new set of tires but it's been less than a year and they're already pushing a new set on me. Probably only drove 9,000 mi.

Seems to be a trustworthy mechanic.We took our older forerunner to get looked at for a catty code to be sure it wasn t just an oxygen sensor and they conducted the proper tests.I will say the quote to repair it was a bit steep, but that may be because of how they source the parts. $125 for a diagnostic was perfectly fair.Also, be weary of taking advice from non-mechanics here, as you should any matter concerning your car. Guy at the front desk claimed that no engine damage can come from leaving the catalytic converter stopped up but mechanic buddy and online research both support the idea that heat and pressure can get backed up into engine.Overall five stars for a much better experience than most car repair places!

Today, I was a first-time customer. I had an appointment for a basic oil change. While waiting outside for the business to open, I was greeted by the gentleman hanging the American flag. He even offered me a place to sit on the bench he was placing outside. Once inside, I got taken care of quickly by the front desk lady. Tony, the shuttle driver, was friendly. I got a call later about other things needing done to my vehicle since they were overdue. I was told the costs at that time. After everything was completed and I returned to pick up my vehicle via the shuttle, I was taken care of promptly. I am giving 5 stars because of the fast, courteous, accommodating, and honest staff. Communication was on point! Thank you, Everyone, for the wonderful service! I will be a repeat customer.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Update: Took my car back today and they are still amazing and honestly good people! Thank you guys again!!!Great experience here! I took my car here because I had just purchased it and I was hearing some noises I was unfamiliar with. When I called and went in the guys I talked to were very friendly. They recommended I do a "pre-purchase" inspection. They looked over the vehicle in its entirety for 109.95. The 109.95 also comes with credits for four free oils changes. A slight cost for fully synthetic oil but it's a great deal either way! Anyway. Turns out nothing was wrong with my car. It is not every day where you go to a place like this and are told all is good. I like the honest service because too many places try to get you to buy things you do not need. Recommendations were made based on mileage of course but no necessities. Thanks North Hills!

I d heard great things about North Hill and wasn t disappointed. It s so refreshing to work with an honest, fair, and reliable mechanic who does the job right but doesn t overcharge you for made-up services.Had a weird problem with my car that was hard to figure out. They could ve charged me a LOT more for diagnostics (most other mechanics would ve), but they didn t.Talked to 4 different people from the company over the course of a week, and you can just tell that they re all good people. Smart, kind, and the business seems well-managed. Very nice to work with, excellent customer service and just trustworthy professionals overall.Will def be using them for further service in the future!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my sons car in for an electrical diagnostic. I was told it would be $109.00 for the inspection. When they were done, the office lady called me and said they could not find a problem but that they had noticed the rear brake pads were a little thin would I like for them to be replaced. I said sure, it s just the pads. When I was called to tell me it was finished, I was told the total was going to be $650.00!!!!!!!! I hit the roof and wanted to know why, he told me the inspection ended up being $150.00 and the brakes were $500.00. I said how in the world could two brake pads be $500.00???? And why was the inspection $150.00 instead of $109? I was told oh well that s the inspection price and when we do a brake job we replace the pads , rotors and sensors automatically . I said well that s not what I agreed to and nobody call to say they were doing more work and he said well we had authorization to do the brakes so we did them then I said we had only talked about pads . Then he said well we never do just pads . What a freaking scam. Who does $500.00 worth of work when a customer is expecting just a pad replacement without telling them. And the inspection was more than verbally quoted. Classic case of buyer beware!!!!!! Always get a written quote from these people!!!!!!! Never never never again will they get my business!!!!!And as to your reply below, that is totally inaccurate. I was never told anything about replacing all brake components. We only spoke about the pads. And I was never given a price. I did not ask for a price because hey how much can a set of pads cost?? Well I guess I found out how much a set of pads cost when you add in whatever you feel like adding without advising the customer. Totally misleading and not ethical at all. I would never treat one of my customers that way. Bonnie and I only spoke about pads and that s the God s honest truth.

I had an issue with my suspension that was previously installed by another auto shop and took it in to North Hills Auto off Augusta. The part was still under warranty, so Rob put in a lot of hard work and was able to get the replacement parts and labor covered under warranty. They did a great job on the repair and I m happy I went with North Hills!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Super friendly staff and always very time efficient with their work. Really good at keeping you updated on your vehicle status when it s in the shop and the shuttle service makes it easy to get on with your day. Their prices are fair and a lot of their work is honored with a lifetime warranty. I have been a costumer of North Hills Auto for over 2 years. Their respect and willingness to go above and beyond for their community is unmatched! North Hills has serviced my Jeep multiple times and I have always been satisfied with their results. Most recently, two employees went out of their way to help get a tire back on my Jeep when I had no one else to turn to. They graciously offered to help, no questions asked, and had me back on the road in no time! I was very grateful to have such a caring group of individuals that truly had their customers best interest in mind. 5 stars is honestly not enough!! I live in East TN and while on a weekend trip to Greeneville, my tire got punctured so I was unable to come home. I came in just a few minutes after opening Monday morning, it happened on Sunday so I wasn t able to call in advance, and they worked me in immediately. They patched it from the inside, and it s held up great. I was scared being a young woman alone feeling stranded hours away from home, and every staff member I spoke to was so kind and made me feel so comfortable and safe. They didn t charge and allowed me a safe return home. I normally don t leave google reviews, but the reviews were why I chose to go here when I was in a bind so I hope my review will encourage someone else. Genuinely could not recommend enough, if they were local to me I would never take my car anywhere else after that experience. Thank you guys so much!!!

I had to have my truck towed in over memorial day weekend. The truck was inspected quickly and repairs completed fast after the holiday weekend. They answered all questions and I am very happy with the service.

Best shop in Greenville! Someone always answers the phone, everyone is friendly, contacted my warranty company for me, & the tech installed my new turbo the same day the parts came in.

Paid almost $1700 for a break job that was NEVER done correctly. When I kept complaining & taking it back under warranty they couldn t find anything wrong. But of course when the warranty expired I m told I m going to need break work done! Like seriously!!! I have one more free oil change with them & id rather pay for one elsewhere because I know if I take it back one of their tinker bell s will tinker just to create a new problem to rob me of more money! Screw them!

I really enjoy this place, as the staff is very friendly. They diagnose your vehicle's problem and give one the approximate cost of the work in advance. In addition, my companion and me have been customers for many years. They prove to you that they want your business. You will save money with North Hills where you won't at a dealership!

Super expensive just needed one tire after a flat. Waited 30 mins to tell me it would be almost 250 said they wouldnt help get back to the car. Did give me name of a used tire shop which I called and got another tire for $35. The guy at counter answered phone 3 times while I was waiting before asking me what size tire I needed. We had to walk back to the car with tire after just leaving shriners hospital with my daughter in tow. Thanks north hills. Sorry if honesty is offensive to you but from other negative reviews it seems as if there is a pattern to your services. Over priced, and dishonest.

I have been using NHA for about 6-7 years. Are they cheap? No. Is there parking lot too small? Yes. Do they employ professionals? Yes. Is their shop pristine? YES. All work comes with lifetime warranty. In 2017 they replaced they alternator on my Kia Soul. 2022 the alternator goes out. They had a tow truck to my location in 30 minutes. Replaced the alternator and covered the cost of the tow. Mechanical things fail. NHA makes good on their guarantees. I don t take my vehicles anywhere else if I can avoid it. My only gripe is their hours. My tires only seem to blow on weekends. But I understand it. Really like the honesty and guidance from the guys at this shop. I was experiencing loose steering and floating feeling on the Highway. I took it in expecting a repair of some part of the steering system. The guys looked it over and said everything was good and didn t need a repair just probably age if the car (2003) and my all terrain tires (Toyo AT3s no bueno) not being a good fit for my large vehicle. Because they were honest and didn t fix anything I didn t need, I took their feedback and upgraded the tires to Michelin Defenders and the car ride is great and steering feels stable. Simple upgrade. I will go back.
