My son was driving my car this morning on Augusta street when he hit something in the road that blew a hole in the tire. He was right beside Harvey s so he pulled in to ask if someone could help him change the tire. If he had driven further he would have probably damaged the rim.The serviceman s first answer was, No. So he asked, If I pay you will you help me? to which the serviceman replied, yeah, for $50. He had no idea that my son barely even had $50. He was trying to be an adult and handle it himself without calling and worrying me.When my son called back to talk with a manager or owner and ask about it, he got a curt, We charge $150 an hour response from that person.I am a neighbor to the gas station and I have been a regular customer.I would like to know whatever happened to being a Good Samaritan? When a person has an emergency, I thought you helped them through the crisis moment until help arrived or they could find a more permanent solution.My Daddy and Pappy stopped the car so many times when I was growing up to help people on the side of the road I can t remember how many. I can promise you that those they assisted remembered their kindness when they were stranded. And they never held their hands out for money. They did it because it s the right thing to do.Today I am remembering that Harvey s did not help and that is wrong.

Will & everyone there are great people, honest, and go out of their way to help. They were the only mechanics to figure out what was going on with my car. 10/10 recommend!!

Harvey's BP is an awesome place to go for quality gas, full gas service, oil changes and etc. I personally met the parents who are/was wonderful kind and highly respected. The sons and all of the staff are friendly and very respectful in our community. Stop in say hi and give them your business. They went over and above to help me with my automotive needs . Thanks Harvey's BP I appreciate you all.

Go somewhere else. They don t let you pump gas after they re closed, and it will take all of your hard earned Harris Teeter fuel points. Dumbest thing ever. Put a sign on your freaking pumps that you can t use them when you re closed, or just have the pumps completely turned off! There s no signage on the pumps AT ALL when you pull up. You just put in your card, go to start pumping gas, and nothing happens. Go somewhere else.

Like family. Have live 2 doors behind station for 29 years. They have cared for our vehicles honestly and fairly over all those years. Don t know what we d do without them. One of the best things about living where we do.

This is a family owned business at it's finest! Generations Are here and are talented and Extremely knowledgeable Men. They have Gone beyond anything expected Of a business today and are Honorable and fair I cannot say how rare that is today. I will definitely continue doing business with them as I have many times before I Took the time to post this About their business.You guys rock!

I come here to get gas mostly and this was my first time getting a plug in my tires! Really nice guys work here. I've also had oil added before but every time I come here they're always courteous.

You couldn't ask for more honest and dependable mechanics than the guys at Harvey's. They are more than fair, quick with their work, and have never sold any work or services that weren't necessary. We don't care our cars anywhere else.

Hard to get in and out because of all the cars. If you can get to the gas pump to even get your gas, transaction to pay inside is quick. Guy at the register inside was not too nice, just happened to be out that way getting lunch and I stopped since it was on my way back to my destination, I had had a good experience and everyone was really friendly last time I went there (almost a year ago), and gas was reasonably priced. The guy that came to my car while I waited for a spot at a tank he was very nice. One of the customers that was there made sure I couldn t get to the tank behind him (he had to stretch the the nozzle cord pretty good to get it to his tank) and intentionally took his time with gas then decided to go clean his windows with the squeegee one by one real slow he kept looking over at me like he wanted me to notice, basically he had a bad attitude. I mean take your time but don t go turtle just to make someone uncomfortable or to get your gratification. So I ll just stay away from that station if I can.

The guys working here are great and extremely helpful. Worked with me on short notice and answered every question I had. Highly recommend if you need a mechanic to try them out. I think they also have some full service gas pumps and a local business!

Vehicle was "repaired" almost $500 and doing same thing again within 100 miles driven. Only told gonna have to leave Vehicle again. Only Vehicle so major inconvenience that I probably won't be able to take it back and just leave it for days a 2nd time. Faulty work that only costs $$ to not fix.

Our whole family takes our cars there for oil changes, and whenever something breaks. Initially, it was just because it was a 5 minute walk from the house, but I go there exclusively now because they are thorough, friendly, and they don't make up problems with your car.One time I had a flat, and they let me borrow an air tank just to get enough air in the tire to drive it over to them.Really good guys.

Took my car here for service. The guys here are WONDERFUL. They knew immediately what was wrong with it, ordered parts, and had it fixed in a few hours. Prices were spot on and way less than the dealership. 10/10 you can t beat knowledgeable mechanics with integrity!

Stopped to purchase gas that was a pleasant experience. However when I left out of the parking lot that belongs to the gas station I ran over a bolt on the ground that came off one of the many wrecked cars in the lot. My car sounded like I had rocks attached to my tires. This sound started as soon as I was on the road so there is no way i ran over that in the road. I immediately pulled over and saw the large bolt stuck in my tire. I called the station to let them know I was coming back to get my tire fixed. Well they fixed my tire. Then wanted 10.00. I told him no. I ran over it in your lot you need to make it right. He was like no its 10.00. Now that's not a lot of money that wasn't the issue. The issue was i ran over it in a lot they owned they didn't maintain. So I refused to pay. I didn't feel like I owed them that. It took him all of 2 minutes to fix it. The guy went to get the owner i guess. He proceeded to make the comment that resulted in this review. I quote " if I believed everyone that told me that I'd be out of business." Why didn't you just call me a liar. You didn't make me pay and i left with my tire fixed. But still was that comment necessary? I wish I knew what was said when I told my daughter you basically called me a liar. I guess what I wasn't was your little spoiled rich house wives that you had all over that lot. Go figure you met a lady that stood her ground to get what was right done. That was you fix my tire. I'd suggest you clean that lot up. Because from that comment I fill like I'm not the first to get a flat tire but maybe the first that made you responsible for it.

I've been taking my car to these guys since I moved to Greenville, and its always been the right choice. They are honest, dependable and hard working. I'd recommend them to anyone, and I often do!! You can't go wrong taking your car here for service!!

You won t find a better team to assist with all your vehicle. I ve done business with them for years. They re honest, friendly and have always helped me with repairs, both routine maintenance and emergencies. Highly recommend.

I ve lived in this area of town for 7 years now, and have always driven by this place but have never stopped in. Safe to say after my last two visits coming up empty handed with gas that I won t be back. Thought I would try to support a local spot, but this was just bad. The first time the pump glitched when I tried to pay and after struggling and employees watching me do so and not offering to help I just cut my losses and went elsewhere. Today the card worked, but after I selected the gas I wanted the gas wouldn t flow. Hopefully others have had a better experience!

Harvey's does a great job. Honest mechanics that give a fair price for their work. Generally will have your car back to you within a day or so.

I've been taking my vehicles to Harveys for over ten years and have never been disappointed! I appreciate the fact that he has always let me know if he didn't think he could repair an issue instead of misleading me.

These guys are the best, hands down. Honest, respectful straight-shooters who won't ever weasel you into any superfluous expensive repairs. I know I always get the real truth about what's going on with my car every time I bring it in. Two thumbs up!

Great service in a pinch. Working here from out of town when the check engine light came on in my car. Lucky for me it was just a lose gas cap and $20 but they were extremely busy and fit me into their busy day.

I hope Harvey's stays open as long as I'm living and well beyond. A full service gas station with pleasant staff, good mechanics and reasonable prices is a gem.

Best mechanics in town. Can't recommend them enough! Have had them perform varying levels of work on my 3000gt and sportrac and wouldn't go anywhere else.

A true and real service station !! Customer service tenants to pump your gas and clean your windshield, three actual service technicians standing by to repair your car !!!

Good guys that I know well. Always helpful and they don t try to upcharge like some other shops. Anyone who left a 1 star just needs to know the gas pumps don t work when the store is closed.

A slip of the thumb on this smart phone and I accidentally gave this shop a 1 star rating. Thankfully someone brought it to my attention. My apologies. Excellent service station located in the center of my old stomping grounds.

The best gas and repair station!!!! The owners, Deric and Eric are excellent with auto repairs. They are friendly and treat everyone with respect. I love them.
