I absolutely loved the customer service and job the mechanics did on my truck. My first visit was amazing and I felt welcomed. I enjoyed speaking to Tammy and Austin. Tammy and her son did an amazing job explaining the issue with my truck and how they can resolve the matter QUICKLY!!!!!! I was quoted a price and time my truck would be ready for pickup; however, my truck was DONE before the day I was advised it would be ready . The price was crazy reasonable. I truly appreciate everyone and the conversations (personal and business). Plus, I have fallen in love with there beautiful dogs, especially Hank!!!! I will tell all my family, friends, and coworkers to come to this location!!!! In addition, I loved Tammy before I met her because she keeps it real and make sure the truth is told, so I knew I could trust this company before walking through the doors. DON T TRUST ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY ARE LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are professional and honest which is very rare these days. I had work done on my truck transmission over 2 years ago and still going strong. In my opinion they are the best and do not over charge !!

Tim, is the best.I came in, with a pretty peculiar situation, and Tim took time out of his busy day, to come speak with me at length about my issue, without ever once rushing me or trying to cut the conversation short.I even offered to pay for his time since he spent so long with me, and he graciously declined.Fantastic shop, even better owner!

The owner, Tim, goes way above and beyond what the average transmission specialist does. I was not even a customer but went in for advice, and he spent a solid hour with me driving my car while listening, looking at his diagnostic computer, and filling my head with knowledge about Transmissions! One of a kind!

I had an excellent experience here! I've been having what I thought was engine trouble for 5 months, took it to 4 different mechanics, the most recent who told me I needed a new transmission. Brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic and these folks saved me time, money, and sanity. Very appreciative of how they listened to my frustrations and then honestly and directly talked me through the diagnostic and the plan! Very professional and communicative, plus great shop dogs. I had an issue with my car that caused me to go to Crown Nissan to take care of. After 7 trips to Crown and $3000, it was still not fixed. In desperation, I asked a friend what to do. He immediately said Greenville Transmission. Within about 24 hours I received a call to come and test drive my car to see if the problem was gone. I did and it was. 24 hours !! Not 3 months. Thanks to all the awesome and knowledgeable folks at Greenville Transmission. This is a long-time family owned business and each person was helpful, personable and able to explain (so I could understand it) what needed to be done. While it took longer than I had hoped it is because they are so good and backed up but Tami and Ginger answered my calls and queries with patience and understanding. Greenville Transmission Clinic is where you want to go if you want your car in capable and trustworthy hands.The Rest of the StoryToday, One year and eight months after we took our car to Greenville Transmission (GT) we got it back. GT had our back every step of the way. They went above and beyond to help us, made sure we did not have to pay anything, kept us in the loop, called in favors, provided encouragement, gave suggestions on how to deal with Ford. Big shout out to these guys!!! First time customer, I couldnt find a torque converter for my CJ7 anywhere. But I called and gave them the specifics and an hour later I received a call back with my options and a price that was unbelievable. Just wanted to say thanks!!!! Ginger knows her stuff

These guys are great. Very thorough, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. They explained the issues with my car clearly and I felt confident in their solutions. The work was done fairly quickly. Solid work! Nice family

Wonderful people to do business with ! You will not find a better group of individuals. Family owned and family operated. If it takes a while to get your vehicle back keep in mind there is a reason. These people have alot of business because they go the extra mile to make every customer satisfied. Plus I know that they take care of their employees. I highly recommend . I have used them a number of times.

Don t believe them and spend money for nothing they going to call you and going ask for more diagnosed for more charging and Losing money just for diagnosedand no results so I bring my car that I already change clutch and clutch sensor and the car was driving but it s overheating transmission so they start said 50$ to diagnose after 3 months they said we found this issue and we going to charge you 400$ I said ok that good news I ordered the part and bring it for them and the car keep stay 2 months and she called me and told me so no code any more and ready to go but we need more diagnose to make sure no code come up and told me the car good drive but only have engine light come up with transmission code and if you need fix that we change you 1700$ and I answered her No so she told me if you take the car won t take it back I told her it ok since your fix the issue so the car drivable that ok so when I go pick up the car the lady told said everything perfect and ready to go I pay them and left office I started the car and car not drivable also the transmission overheating with out Moveing i am not even go out of they carlot so I go back to Owener tell her the car not moving I lost money I lost time for nothing she told me yes because you told us to stopped diagnosing I said yes because you told me we fix the the issue and not overheating any more but now the car not driving + overheating +the new TCM not programmed

I took my Saab 9-3 to Greenville Transmission Clinic after two previous failed attempts to get my transmission diagnosed and repaired at other shops. From beginning to end, my experience with this business was top notch! They gave me a very detailed report following the diagnostic, followed by a few viable options tor repairs. During the repair process, they encountered a few bumps, but were very professional and always offered sound solutions. They took the time to source parts before calling me with options and prices, giving me the additional information that I needed to make the best decision.I would HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone who is seeking transmission repair service. Their quality of work and excellent communication with the customer has made this otherwise stressful situation a bearable one.Thank you Greenville Transmission Clinic...for your time and excellent service! I will see you at my next transmission service interval and will definitely bring my other vehicles in to you for any transmission services needed!

First impressions are everything as this was over the phone with an Ellen I called to inquiry a specific prices and was placed on hold for 20+ and decided to call again and explain the issue and the hold she other person just went over the inconvenience of the hold and answered my questions sounded very timid

Friendly, very knowledgeable and so very accommodating! Tim, Tammy and the guys take so much pride in making sure that their customers receive the highest quality workmanship possible, from an oil change to a transmission rebuild they make sure it s done right the 1st time every time! They take time to explain what they find and discuss your options with you. In my opinion going anywhere else is a big mistake!

We push trucks to their limits hauling equipment and steel frames around the South East. We've used several mechanics/shops in the area but no matter what we used to always have consistent truck issues until we found Greenville Transmission Clinic. They're a small business that does big work. Not to mention they're honest, down to earth and great to work with.I wish I had four arms so I could give them four thumbs up and would highly recommend their service to everyone from big trucks to small cars they can handle it all.Services: Transmission, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

One word describes my experience, EXCEPTIONAL!!! From start to finish, process was transacted exactly as described on the initial phone call.Issue was quickly and accurately diagnosed, and promptly resolved at a very reasonable price. Honest, friendly, and professional. This should be "The Only" call you should make if you are having transmission issues.

Can't say enough about the work and attention to detail that Tim, Jared, and everyone put into our 68RFE build. With over 1,000lbs/ft of torque, most transmission shops would turn us away but not Greenville transmission clinic! Not only did they build our transmission to handle the power but they stand behind there work with a 3 year warranty! Don't hesitate to take your vehicle to them for anything!

My car needed the engine mounts and transmission mount fixed. I got a quote of over $1000 from the first mechanic, which diagnosed the issue (they had quoted manufacturer parts). I came to Greenville Transmission Clinic and had 3 mounts, a pressure switch, and my transmission fluid replaced all for $720. The car drives a lot better with no more intense shaking in the cab and the clicking/clunking sounds are gone. This family runs an honest shop. I hope I don't need their help again, but if I do, they will be my go-to!

5 stars. This business is professional, honest, and reliable. I own a 1992 Ford F-150 automatic E40D transmission and whenever I have transmission problems this is the first place I call. They have helped me when I need them and I definitely recommend them.

Transmission service, rear end service and a drive train check, on my 1995 Ram, was performed by Greenville Transmission Clinic, on 3/2/2021, as scheduled. Service was excellent, truck shifts smoothly and work was done in one day. Would not hesitate to recommend the excellent service provided by GTC.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

The technician quickly identified that my trans filter had dropped down from it's socket and that's what was causing my transmission to slip in 1st and 2nd gear. He replaced the filter and lost fluid from the repair and sent me on my way.3 months after and still no issues. Awesome, awesome service.

Tim Jacobs, the owner, is the finest transmission man in Greenville. He and his staff checked out the problem I was having with my '04 Ford Ranger, found the source quickly, and repaired it. The truck has never run better or shifted smoother! This is a great shop run by a great family.

We are from Florida and while vacationing not too far from Greenville had what we believed was catastrophic transmission failure on our 2004 Chevy Impala. Called and spoke with Tammy and she gave me a quote on repairing the transmission that was very reasonable. She further went out of her way to accommodate our schedule and came up with a plan to get the car repaired before our vacation was over, which was only a handful of days. In Florida, I know of no transmission shops that offer a 3 year, 36K warranty. In my experience that is unheard of. If I am ever up in this neck of the woods again and have a bad transmission problem, there is only one place I am taking my vehicle to. Great honest business, 5 stars for sure.

Understaffed and over loaded with work. I was even told by Jared that he was sorry that I kept getting put off. They had my vehicle 9 days before I learned this. Went to pick it up because they had it so long and kept pushing me back on getting stuff done when they said it would be done, I talk to the guy that worked on my truck trying to figure out how my trucks coolant got out and I had to put 11 16 oz bottles of water in it because it was running hot. Didn't have a problem with it this till I took it there. Didn't like being put off or my coolant being drained. I will never go back.

As a new resident in Greenville SC, and needing transmission services, I used Google to identify services providers. The Greenville Transmission Clinic caught my attention with their message about their expertise and approach to customers. Most importantly their "old fashioned values" made them my first choice. I am delighted to report that everything that they claim to be turns out to be reality.

Slow to work on car. Kept it 2 weeks just for a diagnosis.as far as I was supposed to tell someone about the special needs of my car. I was not told or asked about this when I dropped off my car. First time there. Had to call several times to check on my car. Wont be back. Didnt really even fix my car for what I brought it in for.

2 dealers attempted to diagnose/repair minivan transmission without success, (and great cost).I then took it to Greenville Transmission Clinic which has expert troubleshooting technicians who don't just pull and replace, and they fixed it for under $400.00!Next time I start here first!

Admittedly, not the most impressive curbside appeal. But I took my car to another mechanic and they told me fully rebuilding the transmission was all I could do. $2,700. Henny said "let's drive around the block." Pulled a wrench out of his shirt pocket and made a few adjustments. Told me to give it a 100 miles and see what happened. 30,000 miles later the car is running great. Henny charged me NOTHING and saved me $2,700. Never going anywhere else. Incredible.
