Great service at a great price.I was recommended GNR from a friend of mine and he said that they would be happy to check the suspension on my 18 Silverado. I took it to GNR, just expecting an inspection on my suspension, but they said they would be happy to go ahead and align the truck since they diagnosed that was my problem.Very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend to anybody.

New to Greenville, had some trouble with my 07 Honda Element. Asked on the forum for a good mechanic recommendation and every, single person said, GnR.I took it there and man- Ryan and the crew deserve every bit of praise that people heap upon them. Great service. Communication was awesome and they hooked me up quickly. 136 5-star reviews for a reason.Go see them and I m almost certain they ll reaffirm your faith in honest and competent people.

I can't tell you how relieved I am to find a trust worthy mechanic shop. They allowed me to go under the hood of my SUV an show me the parts that were bad and recommended the main parts that would keep my vehicle safe as I travel in a few weeks. They even have a program called SNAP to help cover the expenses which really helped. Again I'm completely satisfied and highly recommend them for THE BEST IN THE UPSTATE!! GNR automotive is awesome, you can actually talk with service guys. They listen to the customer issues about their vehicles. They explain things so you can understand. Ray who worked on my 2017 charge was great, I m coming back.

Brought car in as it was dumping violent from water pump. Needed both water pump and cooling fan replaced. Happy with service, price also seems reasonable as I looked online for average price. Will be returning for more repairs

Outstanding work. Not only was the work done in an extremely proficient and professional manner, but the job was finished ahead of schedule. The cost was completely fair and affordable.Edit: I just took a 2nd vehicle to GNR for service. They provided exemplary service at a reasonable price. This is my second vehicle I ve brought to GNR, they ve given me their advice and haven t steered me wrong. They saved me almost $1,000 from what the dealer was going to charge, AND found something the dealer missed. They are fair and honest people, from my experience. They have my business, going forward, and I d highly recommend them.

I had previously taken my Cadillac to another facility for repair not knowing the outcome would be nothing short of a nightmare. The original "mechanics" were obviously inexperienced with replacing the timing chain assembly for a CTS and because it was improperly installed it broke within a month causing even more extensive damage including the heads. GNR had come highly recommended so after some consideration of scrapping my car I dropped it off to Ryan and the team. These guys actually can work miracles on cars and had me back on the road in a much shorter time than expected. The GNR team called or texted every so often to update me on progress and even suggested or made other small needed repairs as they progressed. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome and performance of my car, it runs and feels like new. I am now a lifelong customer of GNR and will highly recommend their skills to anyone needing repairs. EVERYTHING GNR has done is much appreciated.

I could not have asked for a better experience! I recently moved to Greenville and had no idea where to take my car. I went to GNR and they were the most welcoming and helpful people who went above and beyond and truly cared about my safety in my car! I highly recommend!

Had my daughter bring her Kia Soul there due to engine damage. They are honest and professional. They didn't do repairs, but they saved her LOTS of money by not fixing it and telling her to contact her insurance company! Thank you ! I eill definitely be using them for my cars!

What a pleasure finally having a place to go and being able to get a one stop shop experience. Literally my car felt like it was falling apart and when I left there it drove like a brand new car. The guys are super professional and they took care of every issue I had on time and they are certified. Great communication with the quote and pricing and what really needed to get done and what could wait we're communicated to me and all my questions were answered. I came from out of state to purchase a car and asked if they would inspect it for me to see if they saw anything concerning. They did a very thorough inspection and took my wife and I back in the bay while the car was on the lift and showed us there was no rust but pointed out a noise to us that the water pump would need to be replaced and printed out a report of the codes they detect and explained some of them. They were very friendly and were willing to inspect it for no charge but I wasnted to compensate them for their time and effort so we settled on about $50. I rarely write reviews but these guys really deserved a good one.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Got my car serviced at a dealership and was told I had an oil leak and was quoted over $3k to fix it. Went to GNR for a second opinion and SO glad I did! They did a full inspection on my car and said there was nothing wrong with it! The dealership has just overfilled my oil slightly and cracked a cap from over tightening it.Will be taking my car here going forward for all services!

GNR Automotive is a great family owned and operated business that prides itself on quality work, fair pricing, and honesty. I was shown a part and explained how it was approaching the replacement point. It wasn't pushed on me; when I opted to move forward with the repair, they had the new part delivered while I waited! Top notch service from start to finish!*Still loving the GNR Automotive services almost two years later.

I had taken my car to my (former) regular mechanic a few months ago due to issues with braking and they basically said everything was fine. Not long after, my car wouldn t accelerate properly after a red light turned green. Took it to them and they found nothing wrong. Last week my car wouldn t accelerate properly after being stopped at a light and turning onto the freeway. Took it in and told my transmission is going and I need a new car. In this crazy car buying climate I decided to take it to GNR for a second opinion and to see if they could rebuild my transmission. They discovered that the reason my car had issues accelerating and drifting when braking was because my brakes were locked up. My whole front braking system was messed up. It was definitely NOT my transmission! GNR was extremely thorough in checking my car out, very clearly communicated to me throughout the process, and fixed my car at a fair price. I will absolutely keep going to GNR for all my maintenance and repair needs!Services: Transmission, Brakes

I am new to Greenville! GNR came highly recommended on Nextdoor and just happens to be .03 miles from my house! I went in for an oil change they flushed the system for a very reasonable price. ( there WAS a ticking) Also 2 New tires which I know I needed I drive Allot!!! Great customer service! Very pleased. Potato and I will be back!Services: Tires, Oil change

I recently moved to Greenville and found GNR through great reviews. They did not disappoint! Love that it is a family run business, they were quick and reasonably priced. I want to thanks GNR for doing such an excellent job on rebuilding my transmission! The Jeep runs like a dream. It purrs. Pickup and acceleration is amazing now. High quality mechanics.Edit: It's been 9 months since my last review. My 2006 jeep is running like a champ. Got an oil change today and the guys sprayed a little rust preventive on my door hinge that I mentioned. Also checked fluids and corrected a minor issue wiht my sun roof.

I came here due to all the reviews and word of mouth via Facebook. Moved here in 2019 from Wisconsin. I knew the time would come where I had a major auto repair expense. This was that time. So I felt like I had to be careful in who I choose to work on my car. After I took my car in, I went to do laundry across the street while they worked on it.They called and asked me to come back so they could SHOW me what was going on under my car. Not only did they show me, but the guy was from Michigan. We both had a mutual understanding of the wear and tear of a vehicle from the north.Since they had to order some parts, I had to go almost a full day and a half without a car. In the end, they were able to fix everything despite accumulated rust underneath.The price was fair even though it was hefty to my wallet. My car is 13 years old with 150,000 miles. Shopping for new/used cars is ridiculous right now. Cars older than mine with higher mileage have a higher price tag than what I originally bought mine for. Cars that are only two years newer with 200,000 miles are double the price. That helped a lot in putting a large car repair expense in a good perspective. Along with the tour underneath my car.

I took my car in to get my brakes replaced and they were very honest with me about what they thought I should do as next steps. They are extremely reliable and very easy to talk to. They answered my calls quickly and even tried to help me find a more cost effective way to do things with more affordable parts. I would highly highly recommend them to everyone and you should definitely trust them with your car!Service: Brakes

We were traveling through Greenville with our truck and horse trailer loaded down when our truck brakes locked up. GNR and their family were all so kind! They kept us all comfortable, horses included, while they got us up and running in record time. I expected to pay a hefty penny but was super surprised at how reasonable they were.
