I highly DO NOT recommend this place. They don t care about customers safety all they care about is their money. Bought a truck and they knowingly sold it with a broken chassis. MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. I could buy a vehicle with a damaged motor that I can transfer but definitely not the whole frame. Then when you ask to speak to the owner and settle it they treat you as an idiot that don t know anything. DON T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY! There are better places out there!

I am Grateful to our Creator for his guidance and help with being able to do Professional Business with the Gibson Family.Mr Tyler Gibson, along with his Father, and Uncle, also Steve and all the Ambassadors at the establishment all helped and blessed me with a Clean Toyota Work truck to run my HVAC business with today. Everyday is extremely hard. No one is immune! It's been a struggle since the COVID pandemic affected all of us globally in 2020. The same year my home got major damages from the Easter 2020 Seneca, SC EF3 Tornado .3 years later with Faith, Effort ,and being humble, I got blessed with my very first Pick up Truck to run my business. Thank you very kindly Gibson Family .Your neighbor Mr Gerald Roger Jr

Tyler and the team at Gibson Auto were outstanding. I just bought a vehicle from them and they were friendly, honest, and helpful in everyway. The car buying process was efficient and easy. I was out the door in 90 minutes with a vehicle I truly love. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fair and friendly car buying experience.

We bought a Saturn Vue from Gibson s. John was very nice and helped us with our purchase. I would recommend going there for your used car needs.

A lot of people writing reviews don t realize they aren t buying a brand new car. Used cars will have more issues than a new one! Every car ever made will have issues. I m very happy with my Jeep I just bought. The process was simple and fast. I appreciate the service! Financing was a breeze!

Benefits of this Car dealership: no pressure salesman. John is a fantastic help.Disadvantages of this Car dealership:1. the 'no pressure' salesman goes a bit far in that you feel you're inconveniencing them to even look at a car.2. the cars look good, but be sure to test out all the features. Literally 15 minutes down the road & the Engine light comes on. Knock sensors are bad. $1k estimate. Apparently "mechanically perfect", as advertised, doesn't really mean it's mechanically perfect. Additionally, the AC was fixed by the owner (thank you) but 2 days later the air is HOT again. Guess "fix" just means a $30 recharge can.The car we purchased looks fantastic (cosmetically), I'll give them that. I just wouldn't recommend this place to the average consumer who's looking for prompt service and expects anyone to return phone calls. That's a lost road you'll go down -- unless you're standing in front of them, you don't exist. Still waiting on my call from the owner (a month later) and calling him 4 days straight ("oh, he stepped out just a moment ago").

I went there optimistic in spite of the bad reviews that I saw, hoping that maybe it would be different for me. But I would not recommend buying a car from this place. No one there looks like they want to sell a car, they only know that it has a clean title and that s it, no one knows anything about the vehicles. Even obvious broken trim panels and runningboards. They said they didn t know anything about that. So who knows what the engine and transmission are like?! Take your business somewhere else.

I bought a subaru outback from them 1 year ago. When I went in the car was listed for 6k but I was informed that it was a mistake and its actually 7700 but they will give a discount to 7200 because I'm nice.I then proceeded to buy a car I was told ran perfectly. 2 weeks into owning it a check engine light came on and my catalytic converter was bad. Thats not a overnight problem. There went 500$ to fix that. I have since put 2k more then then that into it trying to keep it running. 3 months ago the head gaskets went. Or so I thought. But when my mechanic opened it up he noticed the gaskets were not factory so the head had already blown before I bought it once. Also the bolts were put on wrong when it was done.I had shot suspension and other things that where wear and tear from the previous owner.I had to make the Decision to dump the car. It was too expensive to keep going. I have spent 14k on this car from purchase to now and to keep it going would have to spend another 4k.Gibson auto is a cheap lying group of auto sales men who sell broken and worthless cars at top price. Do not do not do not buy a car from this company!! Save yourself pain and agony! You would have a better time taking 14k and just burning it then throwing it away at this company. They don't deserve business!

Went there yesterday and test drove a vehicle. Filled out the application to get it financed and was told that the company which is sc telco or spero financial phone number that was given to us is the fax number. Called Gibson back and had to get the correct number. The gentleman that helped us yesterday was very kind. But today I am having issues getting much assistance. I would think that the employees there would be more customer oriented and want to do all they can to help a new and possibly continued customer in the future.

Hours online show 6:30, hours on door show 6pm, I showed up at 5:36 and was told they closed at 5pm. I was going to purchase a truck today however after the experience here I will be looking anywhere but here. Was not greeted when I walked in, I had to ask the group of people sitting around who I needed to talk to about purchasing a truck and that is when I was informed I had to come back the next day.Company may want to take a serious look into some customer service skills, after checking other reviews this seems to be a consistent issue with them.

The silver ford rangertruck I looked at was nice but the control button on left side of the steering wheel were busted and missing upon checking the oil it was dark as night they don't take trades or offer any kind of warranty he does not like to put money into the vehicles he buys very bad rating in my book

It's a good place if you don't want to know anything. I went and talked to "Steve" about a vehicle and asked simple questions and his response is "I don't know" about every question. Then go to put a down payment the next day,and after doing my own research, waited for 15 minutes before anyone is seen in the office and it's some guy you can't even understand who argues with me over the price. Says the "card" says one thing. Well your online price says 1000 cheaper. Then their fax machine doesn't even work to send the paperwork over for the financing.

Don t let the crosses and bible verses fool you. Paid $10k for a truck and broke down 110 miles later. Was told their mechanic said ck engine light was an 02 sensor not to worry. Ended up costing me $2k for internal engine repairs. Called them to get price from their mechanic still no return call. When I call them nobody is in that can help me yet didn t have that problem when they wanted my money.

Gibson Auto & RV Sales is one of Greenville S.C. Best Dealers if not the upstate. Tyler is one of the best salesman I have had the pleasure of doing business with. He is very upfront and honest about the vehicles on their lot. By that I mean if there is an issue he has no problem disclosing it, even down to the smallest of details. The vehicles they have aren't lemons. Nice quality & quantity. So if your in Greenville & surrounding areas and you need a good vehicle do yourselves a favor and go visit them. It's well worth the drive. And tell Tyler I sent you. Proud owner of 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Liars! Tyler said he was trying to get a car fixed so I could buy it, when in fact, he sold the car. He lied to me for a week telling me they were checking the car out because it was throwing a code but the code mysteriously did not make the CEL come on. He tried to tell me that nothing was wrong with the car and nothing seemed wrong with the car until I hooked up my own code reader on the test drive. Whoever bought the blue MINI Cooper beware,,,,there s something wrong with your car and they didn t tell you!!

I saw a 2003 f-150 4x4 on Facebook marketplace,I called and talked to them about the truck and I ask the "is this a local truck?" The man that I was talking to stated"I don't know, but if you are worried about rust, there is none.Under the truck is as clean as the inside" I told him that I was 5 hours away, and still he told me this LIE,under the truck looked like it had been in salt water.Everything was nearly eaten up by rust.Tyler watched me crawl under the truck and did not act surprised when told about the rust....Outside was not like the pictures he had, beware this bunch of liars. To let someone drive 5 hours knowing the condition of the truck, imagine what they would hide on something alittle harder to detect

The owner was very nice didn't pressure me and let me drive several cars before I made a decision...even came with me to finance. Office staff was very polite as well made sure everything was OK before I left with the truck. Was very honest and upfront showed me all the little details that were wrong (very minor stuff like scratches and dings).

Snowed up around 10am. Walked around for 15 minutes. Couldn t find any info on any vehicles or even prices. Finally go inside the trailer and the guy working was reluctant to even answer one question I had. So I walked out and continued looking around, but again, no info or prices. So we have to ask about every vehicle? Finally the guy comes outside and shows me a Colorado. Couldn t answer my questions, didn t have keys or anything. He had to walk back to the trailer and get the keys. What a waste of time. Is he just gonna keep going back and forth to answer simple questions like mileage? Cause I m not wasting my time on a vehicle with 200k on it. But that s the way it seems to be going. I have cash in my hand. And I ll take it somewhere else.

Looked like a good deal at first but after 2 weeks turns out pipes were leaking and the car had issues turning on. I couldn't believe it when we went back to the dealership I was told to leave! After promising money back or help if needed; they are Dishonest people.

I looked into an older model Jeep which was Tyler Gibson's "personal vehicle". I was actually going to trade in (2) cars...a 2002 Mustang Coupe and a 2005 Honda Accord Coupe. It would have most likely brought in at least $1000 to 2000 more than what he was wanting to sell the Jeep for (newer models, less problems, ran well and routinely maintained). He said for me to just sell the cars and bring him the money AND said he would hold it for me. So...I go to take it for a test drive and to my mechanic and never made it there. It broke down on me in the turn lane at Furman Hall Rd. 3 guys...including Tyler Gibson (owner of the Jeep) had to come and look at it. I had to walk across the highway, get in another car and drive it back to the car dealership. Tyler gets it "push started", and drives it back to the dealership and comes in the building with a bit of a chip on his shoulder telling me nothing was wrong with it. Lol. I chose to give him the "ball in his court", was STILL INTERESTED in the Jeep and willing to pay cash money for it ONCE HE GOT IT RUNNING TO WHERE IT WASN'T GOING TO BREAK DOWN ON THIS SINGLE MOTHER OF 3 + GRANDSON. I left my number on the paper where my license was copied along with the vehicle I was interested in...and never heard back. At first, I found Tyler to be a charming young man working for a living and willing to work WITH me on this business arrangement, but after the Jeep broke down, I found him to be disrespectful, arrogant, impatient and with absolutely NO follow through.Needless to say...I was heartbroken not to get to purchase what my heart desired. However, I was able to find newer and much nicer selections to make my choice from at around the exact same price as this Jeep which couldn't even make it a quarter of a mile up the rd!!!Side note: I am actually related to some local "Gibson's". My Great Aunt was a Gibson. I do, however , hope young Tyler is of no relation to me because I am quite disappointed in his actions towards a potential customer. All around average BAD experience and I won't do future business here nor would I recommend ANYONE from looking through the reviews. Shameful...

Worst place you could buy a car. They promise you over and over that they will help you and do everything they can. You call up there and leave messages over and over for someone to call you back and they dont. The owner makes excuses for the employees saying they are busy yet when you go up there they are all sitting around doing nothing. Very disrespectful and loves to holler at you on he phone like it's your fault. Mark (the owner) and Tyler (whoever he is) are both very disrespectful and uncourteuos! I will NEVER go there again and wish I didn't even have to drive by to even look at it!! Also they have to even have there employees make google ratings because no one else has anything good to say!

I went to this place to look at a Ford Ranger that I had seen while driving by on my way to somewhere one day. I stood around for almost 15 minutes waiting to be noticed with no avail. Then walked in to the office where I saw another couple waiting as well(eventually they became frustrated and left). When I finally was able to talk to someone, they were as good as talking to a stranger on the street. They didnt even know what vehicle I was talking about or knew if the vehicle I had inquired about even existed on the lot or even the price of it. A vehicle on their own lot. Needless to say, if they didn t even know about the vehicle themselves, test driving it surely would have been a waste of time. I ended passing on them all together and found another vehicle at another place.

Purchased two cars from Gibson that we still drive today. Highly recommended. Great deals available and caring friendly people.

The vehicle we bought worked fine for a month and then the problems started happening! We noticed an oil leak, alternator, EVERYTHING UNDER THE TRUCK WAS RUSTED!!! It has taken thousands to fix! I cannot believe the horrible quality of this truck!

Thought they was cool. But sold me a car with some issues. Also. Told me "yah u can come teade it in in a year for something nicer no prob. I just tried to do so. They did not wanna do it. Told me to sell my car then come in with no guarntee that id get another. Smh. Also. Did not keep in contact ab a mustang i wanted while i tried selling the car i have. I could have ended up without a car bc they did not lmk that someone had cane and got it. Bad communication. They only want ur money. Typical Christians...

Looking at cars? No problem. They won't notice you. Try to ask for help? Well, now it feels like you're tresspassing. Ask to take something for a spin? It just got worse. Some rude, skinny JERK with a bad attitude has to ride with you and you have to listen to him whine about how driving will run the vehicle out of gas. Seriously a bad experience. They act like dealing with people is a chore. Mark was nice tho.

I went in to look at a Ford Focus that had a good price and was on the lot for a while. I told John I was coming by and would you know it the minute I get there the car is driving off the lot. Can t say it was definitely a bate and switch but seemed shady.

I bought a Chevy Silverado from them back in November. The Customer Service was ok but the truck has had no problems at all. Great prices, sometimes you just need to push them to reach out to you

They sold us a BMW X3 and it has been nothing but PROBLEMS. Break lights are always on, sunroof doesn't work, and it has tremendous water problems. I can't even drive this car now and I just bought it barely 3 weeks ago.

Don't even deserve the 1 star, all vehicles are junk. I was told a truck I actually did like which seemed to be the only half decent on the lot was 9k, after test driving and having it looked over by a mechanic I know when I asked for a best cash price I was told $12,500 lol what a joke.
