I have nothing but high praise for First Class HALT. The service and attentiveness I received went beyond my expectations. Brian specifically kept me informed daily on the progress of a back ordered part and called American Honda persistently to expedite the process. As soon as the part came in they immediately prioritized my car and the work they did on my Accord was excellently done. I was kept in the loop at every turn. I m so thankful I chose First Class HALT, their name truly suits them as they really are first class. I highly, highly recommend this auto service and repair shop!!

First class H.A.L.T. is truly first class! It is obvious from the first phone call to schedule your appointment that they have their act together. Their staff are friendly, well trained, and professional. Each time I have brought a vehicle to them, they have provided accurate estimates, kept their promised schedule, and completed the repairs correctly. They have never inflated cost beyond agreed services and are extremely careful to accurately communicate any recommendations and related costs along the way. They are also extremely convenient to work with, providing text communications with your mechanic, an online payment system, and even after hours pick up. Thank you First Class H.A.L.T. for your first class service! I realize this review may sound like I was paid, but the truth is I m just a very happy customer whose business they have worked hard to earn.

I came into First Class Halt for the first time today. I drive an older Highlander and not only did they solve the noise problem that my other mechanic couldn't find, their customer service and thorough explanation of what they did was second to none. My Uber driver..that they provided (free of charge) drove a Lexus, and I told her she needs to bring her vehicle here whenever she needs it serviced.I found this shop after reading all the great Google reviews so I had to leave mine as well. This is my new go to mechanic..These guys are courteous, extremely knowledgeable and thorough..and on top of it all, reasonably priced.

Another excellent experience! First Class HALT was able to get my vehicle in super quick! They diagnosed the problem and fixed it quick and at a reasonable price. They are honest and trustworthy! How could you ask for more!

We recently bought a used Toyota that we knew needed work. We were referred to HALT and they were wonderful! There were several issues with the car that needed addressing and all were repaired in a timely manner at what seems like a reasonable cost. Andrew and his team are clearly experts and wonderful to work with. The team is very organized, the place is clean and we were treated with respect. Best of all, our new 2010 Corolla is now running great! We highly recommend HALT. Thanks Andrew and crew!

I used First Class Halt for the first time this month. It could not have been a better experience. The customer service, communication, work done, and the follow up completely exceeded my expectations. That place is a role model for what great service is supposed to look like. Had my 2002 Lexus RX-300 serviced in February 2024 at HALT Cherrydale. This was the first service on the car in a long time, and required a lot of work. Excellent friendly staff and great service. The car looks and drives like a new car. I'll definitely go back to HALT for future service.

Curtis and all the fellas here have been great. Professional, punctual, and competent, First Class Halt at Cherrydale can be trusted to get it done. Not the cheapest necessarily, but you get what you pay for, and these folks absolutely are worth the dough.

Arguably the most professionally run mechanic shop in Upstate SC, and it's not even close. I've had them work on several of my Hondas over the years and have always had good service.On my latest visit to have an electrical issue addressed on my 17' Honda Accord Hybrid, Andrew & Curtis went above and beyond to keep me informed throughout the process from diagnostic, to repair, to pickup of my vehicle.Couldn't be more pleased with my experiences over the years and recommend this shop to anyone who values excellent customer service.

Took my Lexus RC F in for an oil change and regular maintenance. They checked it out thoroughly for anything else that was possibly needed. Everything checked out fine and I was well pleased with their service and professionalism. I highly recommend them.

My car was working completely fine for years until I took it in for a $2300 brake repair. As soon as I got it back, problems. I took it back and they said it was the spark plugs. They were sure of it. Paid them more money to have them replaced. Got my car back. It still is having a problem. It s hardly drivable. They said I could pay more ($160) to have it diagnosed. But that wouldn t even be credited back to me if I got a new repair with them. You d think they d do a diagnostic for free since I d already paid them $2500 for two repairs. One in which they recommended would likely fix it, and it didn t.Thanks for nothing. Now I m broke at Christmas. No need to reply a lengthy explanation on here HALT. You all know you re scammers and crooks. Shame on you. I feel sorry for anyone who walks through your doors trusting in your services.

Took my Toyota Corolla for basic maintenance. Was concerned with the quoted time to complete the job but after I was informed on how diligent these specialists do their job I was relieved and felt at ease knowing my car was in good hands. I will bring my Toyota here until she takes her last breath!

Our car had a loud rattle that we could not locate. The technician drove with me in a test drive and located problem before we got out of parking lot. Problem solved and at a very reasonable cost. Everyone there was super!!

The service here was extremely efficient. I was provided detailed photos and an itemized print out of the work needed to be done on my vehicle. It was our first experience with Halt! We definitely had a First Class experience! We had always taken our Highlander to a Toyota Dealer to have our servicing done! It is so refreshing to deal with people that actually like their jobs! The attention to details and the comprehensive assessment to what we did and did not need for our auto was truly eye opening! They were so helpful and kind! They were honest and thorough. When I came to pick up my car, coincidentally, my mom (my ride) was having an issue with her Honda. They graciously gave her good advice on what to do, and helped. I ll definitely bring my car back here, and recommend them to others!

U talk about 1st Class!!! This company is 1st Class all the way!!! It s the first time I ve had a repair shop send a Uber for a customer, in order to have the customer receive his completed serviced vehicle returned in a timely manner, instead of having the customer wait another hour before their vehicle could pick the customer up! I was impressed with the professionalism, quality of customer service, and the wealth of knowledge they have and were willing to share with me on my vehicle. I was a first time customer after not-so-great-experiences at the dealership. I cannot recommend them enough. Took my 2016 Honda civic here with codes coming up and symptoms of a transmission gone bad. They were super communicative with me throughout the whole process and extremely honest. It turns out instead of needing a whole new transmission, they were able to flush the system out and replace the fluid, and it fixed the problem! They could have easily just said I needed a transmission and I would have took their word for it as I m no expert. I will be going here now for regular oil changes and anything I might need with my Honda. I highly recommend this place.Services: Transmission, Vehicle Inspection

First Class HALT did a great job with my brake repair and other services. They provided a detailed comprehensive inspection of my vehicle with a no hassle approach to me deciding what should be addressed immediately and what could be delayed for future visits. Overall they did great work, were very professional, offered shuttle service to my house, and all very timely too. Great customer service!! Upfront about all services needed. No hidden fees. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience and I will be bringing my car there for all future service. My car would not start. I had it towed to First Class HALT Cherrydale. With no appointment scheduled they quickly checked the car and determined the starter was not functioning.
