If i could give negative stars i would. They miss quoted me said 1750 for the total amount of repairs multiple times. Even called back still $1750. This morning i get a call after i drop off my car stating i was misquoted told me it would be $2999. I told them not to touch my car because they tried to fool me, do bad buisness whatever you wanna call it, probably because im a women. Once i get my car to a more reputable repair shop the mechanic calls me and says the place i had my car had erased and cleared all my codes but thats okay because i have a print off of my codes from Honda of Anderson prior to dropping it off to these ridiculous ppl. Im glad i didn t do buisness with them. Its so frustrating to find an honest car repair shop.

I found Bryant s Kar-Gard on google while breaking down in Greenville SC on my way to my interview for school in KY. I experienced phenomenal service and was treated like family while being back on the road in no time! Some of the nicest people ever ! Pricing was very affordable and my car is fixed like it s brand new. Thank you all !!!

Update: Just got new tires and it was the tires. Great job all around by Bryant s Kar-Gard.Dropped my car off because it was making a weird sound when I turn. First a tech drove it to see if they could diagnose it. They found nothing. Then another person drove it and mentioned to me the power steering pump was weak and seems to be causing the pulsating. The price was around $600. They charge a 3% fee for using your bank card which I was not told about when I was told the car was ready to be picked up so I had to eat another $18 which was pretty rough. I did appreciate the honesty of everyone that worked there and the noise did partially go away. It still makes a little noise but I think it could be my tires or something. All in all good work by them just a bummer to have to pay $18 extra.

An honest repair shop!! How often do you hear that? They give good accurate quotes, advise of any issues that may arise before doing any extra work, and your vehicle is ready when they said it would be.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BRYANT'S KAR-GARD. FIRST, I TOOK MY 2012 RAM 1500 (AKA THE BEAST) FOR AN OIL CHANGE. ERNIE TOOK HER RIGHT IN AND GOT ME OUT FAST. THEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS LATER, SHE NEEDED A RACK AND PINION REPLACED (PER THE DEALERSHIP). I CALLED ERNIE AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT. HE TOLD ME THE TOTAL COST AND I WAS HAPPY WITH THE AMOUNT. DEFINITELY ALOT CHEATER THAN THE DEALERSHIP. HE DROVE MY TRUCK AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS NOT THE RACK AND PINION. IT WAS THE WHEEL BEARING NEEDING REPLACED. ONCE AGAIN, ERNIE GAVE ME THE TOTAL AND I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRICE. BRYANT'S KAR-GARD IS MY NEW ONE-STOP MECHANIC SHOP. ERNIE AND HIS CREW ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SWEET. It s taken me a few years to write about this negative experience, but I feel it s fair to share with other customers to know about. I took my 2009 VW CC to this shop after my engine oil light was flashing to have it looked at. I had no knowledge of cars at the time, so I put my trust in these guys and it s a decision that I regret, but am thankful for at the same time. Upon driving up to one of the bays I was not greeted by the other mechanics and was almost ignored as I approached them about my car. This should of been a red flag, but I didn t have any other option as my car was not safe to drive. I was finally approached by one of the mechanics who asked me to pop my hood. He checked my oil and confirmed that it was low. He put some oil in my car not sure if it was the right spec for my vehicle he proceeded to get inside my car and started the engine completely wrong. My car uses a push fob. He was pushing the fob while also putting his put hard on the accelerator pedal without giving the car a chance to start. It resulted in him flooding my engine and making the car inoperable. He offered no apology and neither did the manager or any other mechanic. I was left to sit inside of my car and wait for a tow. I did not feel comfortable standing outside my car. Once I was waiting for my tow the mechanic was snickering at me. I had my car towed back in my hometown and haven t had a chance to work on it. Although this was a terrible experience and would not recommend anyone to go there, I learned how to service my own vehicle, so that I would never have to be dependent by these type of mechanics who don t take accountability for their actions. For that I thank you guys at Kar Gard for being the catalyst to learning about cars.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I ve used Bryant s Kar Gard several times but my last experience with them was over the top. I called them on Monday of Thanksgiving week and told them I needed new tires and was leaving town Wednesday afternoon. They got my truck in on Tuesday morning, found the tires I wanted and put them on by the end of the day Tuesday. Can t find anyone in town that can get your vehicle in within a week much less in and out within a day. Great service and great work.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

The crew here are great I brought them my car for some ac service they fixed it no problem but they noticed a oil filter issue fixed it and told me whoever did should not have done so that's all I needed to hear they were honest and now they will doing everything from now on to my vehicles love these guy's 10 stars in my book can't wait to go back thanks guys

Ernie and the guys at Kar-Gard are the best and I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. They always do a great job for me and my family's vehicles, from brakes to oil changes, AC or whatever I need. Fair prices and honest service every time. It's so nice to have a mechanic you can depend on. Ernie didn't even charge me for a fan switch replacement - twice. I took my car to Bryant's Kar Gard to get my starter replaced. They had it fixed within a couple of hours, at a very reasonable price. Ernie was extremely helpful, and you can tell he and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable. In the unfortunate event I ever have to have my car fixed again, I will definitely be taking it back to Bryant's Kar Gard. Highly recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went to get an estimate done this week and wanted the guys to know that their customer service did not go unnoticed. I m having my car fixed closer to home, but if ever I m closer I ll drop by for my repairs. Highly recommended (he was cheaper )

I have been using Bryant's Kar gard several years now. I find them honest and reliable. In fact, I took my vehicle in a couple of weeks ago to get brakes because someone told me I needed them. The mechanic looked them over and told me I didn't need brakes yet. That I can probably get another year out of them.That's why I continue to use them. They don't make unnecessary repairs. That's also why they stay busy so give them a call to find the best time for you.

Hats off to the management. This place runs like a well oiled machine. I took my mustang in for a front end alignment and they did a superb job. They technicians took the time to explain the process and made suggestions to make my baby perform at the optimum level. These improvements will make my four new tires wear much better. I am greatful for budget tires of Greenville recommending this shop to me. They are a full service garage and I am pretty sure I will be utilizing this place again for my car maintenance and repair needs.

As a mechanic myself, I know how to recognize good work.... Ernie and his staff of experienced mechanics always do a good job when I refer my clients to them and I know I can trust that they do honest, quality work at fair prices. They are my place to go, especially for tires and exhaust work.

I saw some great 5 star reviews on how good and honest Ernie is servicing vehicles so I gave Bryant s Kar-Gard a look.I went by and met the owner Ernie and told him what I wanted in a performance exhaust system for my 2019 Ram 1500.I truly expected to pay $800-$1,000.Ernie took the time to put my truck up on a lift to look at my exhaust system and let me explain what I was trying to accomplish.When I was finished Ernie showed me what he could do to accomplish exactly what I needed and with parts and labor he only charged me $250.00!!Ernie could have easily done more unneeded work( which I requested) and charged me way more money, but he didn t.A truly honest car repair service!He saved me at minimum $750.00!!!I will send anybody I know ( or don t know)to Bryant s Kar-Gard for great reputable service at an honest price.Be sure to ask for Ernie.Charles

Ernie is an honest hardworking family man. My husband and I have been customers for about 5 years. Ernie always gives us the best price and never takes advantage, selling us things we don't need. The job is always done right, they stand behind their work and I trust them! They also are great with accommodating on short notice. We won't go anywhere else!

Trust worthy and very helpful. I took my car here thinking I needed expensive brake work. The employee and owner found that the issue was an easy fix, not the issue that I thought I had with the brakes. They fixed it for free, although they easily could have sold me a much more expensive repair. Highly recommend.
