Pat is my go-to. He takes care of my issues fast and at a better price than anyone I've found. He never pushes things I don't need, and he is honest. If you need a mechanic, this is the place.

Will absolutely be recommending Pat s to everyone I know! They were able to get me in for an engine misfire and coolant leak within the hour and had my car back to me fully repaired in less than 24 hours! The service was amazing and at an incredibly fair price! We were walked through the issues and they even sent us photos so we could understand exactly what caused the issue and throughly explained how they fixed it! Awesome experience. Friendly, honest and upfront cost. Fast turnaround, went in one day with completely messed up brakes and drove away the next day all fixed up. Also, I like that they make it clear they are 2nd amendment friendly.

The owner is very honest, fair and skilled. He takes care of all of my vehicles. He is very detailed oriented. I wouldn't trust anyone else as much as I do, with him. He cares about his customers as though they are his family. He's a good man and by far the best mechanic shop in town

Mechanic did the job incorrectly, and messed up my car. I brought in my Toyota for a timing belt change recently (just regular maintenance, nothing is wrong with the car). I went and pick up the car two days later. I started the car and drove out the lot, not even 30 seconds into the drive, the check engine light came on, I scanned it and it says I got a cylinders 1,3,5 misfiring. (Note that my car has zero codes before I brought it in the shop, and it runs perfectly). I immediately brought it back, asking them if they have really done the job correctly, they won't double check the work and told me to just clear the code and drive it first, as it might be something else that was wrong. I cleared the code and drove the car home. The next morning, the check engine light immediately came on again, and again the same code. So I went back to the shop and told them, they still denied that they have done something wrong, but I strongly believe at that point that the job was done incorrectly cause the whole bank 1 in my v6 is misfiring. Long story short, I went to a Japanese car specialist the next week, and confirmed that Pat's automotive has incorrectly installed the timing belt. I had not gone back to Pat's since I don't really trust them with my car. And now I'm out $600 since I had the other mechanic redo the timing belt job. Not to mention, all the possible damages that the misfire has done to my engine. After the Japanese specialist got the timing belt installed correctly, there are no codes anymore and car runs good.I'm very disappointed and angry about this situation, it caused me a lot of anxiety for two weeks as this is my work car. Please do not go to pat's automotive.

GREAT GUY!I had surgery that prevented me to change out a belt that had snapped, which led to my A/C. (During mid-summer) Pat and I talked. He not only explained to me but showed me what was involved. He did the right thing in my eyes, and I walked away from that visit feeling pretty comfortable. Same day, I went to my office and validated my feelings by reviewing all the positive reviews online. That was all I needed. Recently, I've asked him to do work on my other vehicles and have designated Pat's Automotive as our "Family Mechanic". Was a great guy really tried to help but just couldn't figure out what was wrong with my truck he thought it was other things. But really turned out to be a short in the wire that leads the the ignition coil so I got charged all that money for nothing

There are not enough words to express my appreciation for Pat and his staff! The team is honest, reliable, dependable, they have an excellent work ethic, fair pricing and you simply can't beat the turn-around times! From a $100 problem to a complete front end rebuild to honestly telling me the vehicle wasn't worth the money it would cost to fix it, Pat has never let me down. He speaks in ways that are easily understood and is happy to explain the "why" behind his repair plan. I sent my own Mom to him! Thanks for everything, guys!

We recently took a vehicle in to have him repair it. He spent a couple of hours on it and could not definitively conclude what the problem was, so he told us we should probably take it to the dealership. I don't know of any other automotive repair shop that would be that honest and do that without charging an arm and a leg for needless parts. With his honesty and integrity, this will be the shop we go to from now on when we need to work done on our vehicles!

Highly recommend! Pat s automotive has very knowledgeable mechanics who know what they are doing. These guys will get the job done right and as quickly as possible. Their customer service is just as good as the work they preform. If you are looking for honest mechanical work this is the place to bring your vehicle. You won t be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about Pat and his business. It is frustrating when mechanics take advantage of women and it's such a common occurrence that it adds an extra layer of stress to car troubles. Pat has always been honest and respectful to me, never talking down to me. He explains everything clearly and goes above and beyond for his customers. His prices are incredibly reasonable and his early open time is super convenient when trying to drop off your car and work out alternative transportation.

Here is how good Pat s is The shop came so highly recommended from my co-workers and friends that I decided to take my car there even though I live all the way in Mt Pleasant. Trust me, it s worth it! The guys at the shop are the most skillful, honest, and nicest mechanics you will find. They have saved me money on my car and helped me avoid costly repairs. A specific example would be when another shop told me that my power window regulator needed to be replaced. Pat s was able to reset the mechanism and now my windows work great. This saved me on parts and labor! I will continue to take my car there for all of its service needs. If you care about your car (or your checkbook) I highly suggest you do the same!

Car wouldn't start this morning so I got it dropped off at Pat's around noon since he has good reviews and is near my house. He determined the starter was bad and was able to replace it right away. Left his shop with my car at 2:30 the same day. He was friendly and price seemed fair for the job. Would definitely bring a car here again, but hopefully i don't have to haha.

I have previously used Pat's and been pleased with my service. However, the last time I was at the shop I asked about getting my oil changed. The guy told me bringing my own filter would make it cheaper. So when I returned back to the shop yesterday with the filter, I was told they dont do oil changes period. Not sure where the miscommunication was but I'm pretty disappointed that I made a trip to buy the filters only to have to return them and take my business elsewhere.

last year on my way North, my rear axle rusted through. I had the van towed to Pat's because of the good reviews, and it was near my aunt's house.They found a used replacement and came in at the exact estimate and had me on the road in 36 hours. Very friendly very helpful. They had heard of, but never seen what salt can do up North. They they were so impressed that they texted me a photo of the rusted through axle while they were working on it.So this year I called them about an oil change using Mobile one. Jiffy Lube gave me a price of close to $120. Pat's said that if I bring in my own stuff, it would be $20. With a Mobil 1 sale at Advanced Auto Parts, it's done for $55. Garages will often charge more for that. I love Pat's!

Theyre much more than a break shop, the discription on Google is incorrect they are mechanics and can fix your whole car need be! Don't write them off because Google says they just do breaks. On their website they say they're mechanics and they are.Pat's Automotive gave me absolutely wonderful customer service. I don't know anything about cars, but I went in because all the dash lights came on in my 2009 Subaru Forester. They were very nice to me, really took their time trying to assess what was wrong with my car. For now all that was determined was that my air filter was very dirty. They were so kind to me and tried to explain everything in a way that made sense to me. I'm so glad I went to Pat's Automotive, I will be coming here for any future work that I need done. They told me to absolutely come back in if the lights come back on, or if I have any trouble. I will definitely be coming back to them for anything and I will be recommending them to anyone.Thanks for all your help guys!
