A Jaguar is not always the easiest machine to work on! When it was done I was very happy.It took a minute to get the old girl going again, but ran like a top when done. Ken s a good guyand I recommend him for his honesty and service

Auto Repair Experts is by far the most professional care repair shop I ve encountered since relocating to the area. Dan and his guys did an amazing job in a timely manner. I would recommend this car repair shop and I will be returning for all my car repairs. Thank you to Dan and his crew for doing a great job on my car !

I've had two great experiences here. Ken and his employees are very knowledgeable & were easy to work with. Very transparent with pricing and the new online estimate portal was great to see. It broke down each price & told you exactly what you pay for. The best part might have been the small stuffed animal in my car after eacj service, my dog loves them! Definitely will recommend to anyone who asks!! Thank you guys!

I took my truck here and was very pleased with the work that was done. I thought that I was treated like one of the family. Dan was extremely nice. He went over the things that needed to be done and I was very surprised at the cost and the extent they went to. Parker was very knowledgeable and was very precise with the work he did on my truck. I need more things done to get my truck in a little better shape and you can bet that I will return here to get it done. Great job guys!!! Thank you!

Getting work done on your car on a very strict budget can be nerve-racking, but I'm so glad I found this repair shop! They answered the phone quickly every time I called, they explained everything that needed to be without being patronizing and although I don't have much basis of comparison for the cost of the particular repairs I got, I'm very pleased with what I paid.I know exactly where I'm taking my car for work from now on and I highly recommend that others do the same!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I LOVE IT HERE! They did an excellent job on my Impala. I was diagnosed within 2 hours, and they started working on my car immediately. Dan was enjoyable to talk to, and very pleasant to be around. The cute plushie I later found in my car was extra sweet . Not only did they do great work on my car they also made me feel special in the process. I recommend them to everyone!

I took my car in to have them fix the reason why the check engine light was on. I had codes check at O'REILLY and 2 codes came up. Auto repair told me that that was not the problem and they would have to hook up another machine up to my car to find the problem. THAT IT WAS GOING TO COST ME $358.00. Just for them to diagnose the problem. Long story short, I ended up taking my car to the dealer and the problem was exactly what the 2 codes were showing. Car was fixed.

Brought my 2004 4 runner to Mr. Kenny for a leaky transmission hose. He worked on it for several days, the whole time keeping in contact with me and letting me know what was happening and estimated how much it would be. He was creative in a temporary fix for me but did let me know that the transmission was in fact failing and that I should consider a new auto. In the meantime i was able to take it to a few dealerships to look around and also got Being new to SC, I made the decision to take it here because of the reviews he has. With that being said, I would recommend Auto Repair Experts to anyone out there. Ken was honest, reliable, and very accommodating with the price. I'm glad I went to him.Service: Transmission

Ken has saved my bacon twice regarding my car. Once with a fuel injector after a long drive and once with chicken. With no hesitation, I recommend his shop due to the quality work and fair prices alone. Working with Ken is just icing on the cake. He has consistently been a genuinely nice man. He rocks.The chicken story: (it's relevent). I went grocery shopping, put them in the trunk, went home, and the trunk wouldn't open. With nightmare visions of the stench raw chicken would create in this heat, I went straight to Ken and Auto Repair Experts.He couldn't open it, and due to a design error on the car, the only way he saw to get in was to take the back seats out. He suggested that I bring it to the dealership. He thought because it was their design, maybe this issue had popped up before and they would have a simple fix. He thought of my needs first, not what was best for his bottom line. That's integrity folks.No such luck at the dealership. Their solution was the same as his and their estimate seemed excessive.So I called Ken, asked his estimate and could he do it now- remember, hot day, raw chicken. And that's how Ken saved the chicken. The ice cream bought it though.

I was at a loss! The alternator in my car had been replaced twice and repaired two more times by a different shop. After almost giving up, I took my car to Auto Repair Experts where Ubaldo took his time to ensure me he would take care of the issue. AND HE DID!! Not only did he fix the problem, he stayed in constant contact with me every day with updates and positive responses to my questions. The issue with my car was tricky to say the least but Ubaldo never gave up! Their prices are unbeatable and the service is stellar! I am so grateful for their professionalism and skills to get the job done. This is the best place in Charleston for any automotive need. Fast, Friendly, and Honest. Came in for a fuse that kept blowing, wasn't sure why, they found the issue fast, explained the problem while physically showing me (turns out a wire was exposed and touching metal causing a short), and they didn't do any unnecessary work to charge me more. 100/10 would recommend for any of your simple, confusing, or important service needs.

My truck was stranded at work after the starter had failed. I called these guys and they helped coordinate a tow truck with no cost to me, and they looked at the truck first thing in the morning. After their courtesy inspection, they also saw I was due for an oil change and new brake pads and rotors (all of which I knew about so I knew they weren't trying to rack up costs). I have them the go ahead for the work and the starter replacement, and they were finished by the next day, about 4 hrs earlier than I expected. They were very easy to work with, answered all the questions I had, and showed me the old starter. I appreciated the up-front and straightforward business, and would go back again. I can't stop talking about this business!! They're so honest, polite, professional, patient, knowledgeable, good prices. They were able to service me the same day I called (last minute). Got my car running back to normal and explained to me what I need to do to upkeep my car. They left their business cards and a Teddy bear inside my car which touched my heart (just had a miscarriage). This is truly a great business and I won't lead you wrong!! I thought I would be in good hands taking my car here. I needed an engine and my bill was going to be 10,300.00. I took my car to another repair shop in Summerville and ended up paying 6500.00 which imcluded a free diagnostic. The communication between the two people in the shop is terrible. I felt like the owner avoided me on many occasions. I tried to get assistance with reducing the price, he told me he would speak with the person that was putting the engine in and to call back later. When I called back to speak with the man that would be doing the repair, it was like I never spoke to the owner as he claimed he had no idea what we discussed.

Great customer service. I spoke to Mr. Kent over the phone and he told me to bring my car the next day. I dropped it off, but unfortunately he wasn t able to do the repair. Even though he couldn t he still pointed me in the right direction. All in all now in days it s hard to find a business with great customer service. Thank you Mr. Kent!

I definitely recommend this place! It seems like the labor cost is kind of expensive but I honestly don't know what shops charge as this is my first time at a shop. I'm sure dealerships cost way more. They also got me in super quick for an emergency. I was dead on the side of the road and had my car towed to the . They got the problem diagnosed same day and had the parts and my car fixed the morning of the next. The service was phenomenal and they have small personal touches that are great. Even though it's a drive for me I would definitely come back here.

This is a great shop. The asked me how I preferred to communicate and texted me about my car. They even sent me a picture of the problem. They had it fixed quickly and were really friendly.

Great place to have repairs done quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. They take pride in their work and point out things that need to be taken care of from a safety standpoint. Nice place and was recommended by Pit Stop Service Center for repairs that they couldn t do. 1st time using their service mainly due to normal mechanic wouldn't be able to get me serviced until a week later at no fault to them because they are great.The good folks at Auto Repair Experts are truly nice helpful and quickly had me feeling confident that I'm not going to be taken advantage of. Normally I would wait a week before posting a review, between the great customer service and the difference I literally feel in my vehicle I'm confident that I can post this review earlier than normal.Thanks again guys I will be returning for more business on my Town and Country Van.

I had the most wonderful experience at this auto repair shop. The courtesy & hospitality impeccable. The excellence & integrity phenomenal. I was shown the problem areas on my vehicle & given fair pricing. They did NOT rip me off. My vehicle is riding smoothly like it's almost new compared to when I arrived. Max & team, THANK YOU! I was so impressed with the team at this Auto Shop! I brought my car in with an AC problem and Max went above and beyond to make sure I had it done within the day, even though it ended up being a major fix. He even offered and gave me a ride home since I brought the car in myself. The repairs were done thoroughly and quickly and the price was very fair. They also included a 2year warranty and a free car wash! Thank you all so much for being so helpful and so professional. We will definitely be back again!

They picked up my dead car for me, diagnosed it and fixed it in short order. Nobody wants to pay for car repairs but if you gotta this is the spot. Billy was super helpful and kept me abreast of all developments and potential costs. The mechanic (sorry didn t catch name) on duty took pains to answer all my questions in detail and was very kind. Communication is top notch! Can t beat a 5 year warranty either.Thanks fellas!!!

I have used ARE multiple times since moving to South Carolina and they have done excellent work for me. In each instance, they have walked me through exactly what was wrong, why, and the priority level of each component. In addition, after having my car towed there after an unexpected ignition coil failure, they diagnosed, communicated, and fixed the issue within 4 hours. Exactly what I have been looking for in a mechanic. They walked me through exactly what the issues were with my car. They allowed me to look at the exact spots that were concerning to them when the car was on the lift. We then went through options on how to fix the issues, offering multiple remedies and price options. They were 1/3 of the price of a shop I went to that was ripping me off, clearly. They have a very nicely organized shop and waiting area and Ken was very thoughtful and friendly. I have recommended them to the business I work for an will recommend them to anyone that asks me in the future. Thanks Guys!

I have all recordings of conversations. I got lied to several times. The owner billy tried to scam my insurance company.. also have video of billy backing off his estimate and telling me I don t owe home anything just to get my vehicle out of there or he would charge me 200 a day. Will post video. Just waiting on better business bureaus to get back to me. Please stay away from this place!!!Service: Engine repair
