Went to southern auto mart in Myrtle Beach and spoke to Mrs.rose and she was so sweet. I drove home in a 2014 gmc Arcadia. I love my gmc. Thank you so much

I tried the rest and finally found the best with Southern Auto! My wife and I looked around for over a month for the right car when one day we drove by the Georgetown location and saw our new baby! We stopped in and talked to Co, not only was he extremely helpful in finding us the right car for our family but he was all about making sure that we the ones that came out on top. After going to dealer after dealer this was amazing to have someone actually care about the customer and not just the bottom line. Co helped my wife and I purchase our new 2013 Kia Optima. Shane and Country are the go to guys for anything that happens with the car and the get it fixed and back on the road with in a day or two. They have stood proudly behind every word they said they would. Ahsley and Phillip were also there to make sure that anything that had come up had gotten taken care of without any kind of wait or problems. All in all if you need a new ride at awesome prices and an amazing buying experience go see the crew down at Southern Auto Mart!

Poor customer customer . I tried getting in contact with the owner nobody wants to get in contact wit him they all keep saying I can t talk to the owner. Never again will I deal with these people the majority of them just tell you anything to get you off the phone .. I had to call the Myrtle Beach office to get some progress The young lady in the MB office is the only person who actually cares and tries to help .. The mechanic from the Georgetown office hung up in my face today. Definitely wouldn t recommend

Edit:Changing to 3 stars. Waiting to see what they can do to right the wrongs. Giving them the benefit of the doubt and being hopeful for a positive outcome.Don't do it.I was in a situation where I was desperate for a vehicle and got taken advantage of. At first everything seemed great, people were nice, and came off as honest. Upon leaving after being there forever doing paperwork is when the problems began. The car I just purchased would not start. I was assured that they would fix it as long as I brought it back the next day. I did and they fixed what they said and the very next day the car wouldn't start again. Once again they "fix" it and im able to drive for a week before it doesn't start again. I've had the vehicle since February and have not even put 1000 miles on it because its not drivable. Most expensive yard ornament I've ever purchased for sure.advice, just stay away.

My review is good and bad. Brandy Blakely from the Georgetown office, she is the reason we stayed with this office. She is very down to earth, honest, good professional service and helpful when you need it. Also Robin Causey from the Myrtle Beach office, Great job. Very good with people and helpful. Now Shane Ritch. How and why he still has a job is beyond me. I've managed places before, and can't imagine treating customers this way. He is very rude, lies, and does not know how to talk to people. This company will get tired of his excuses soon. Get a new person and I guarantee your sales will improve greatly. Shane's rudeness outways all the good that the company claims. I read the about us page, and as long as this guy works for this company, this information is not true. If only Southern Auto Mart knew the way he talked to me, surely he wouldn't be employed. On a good note, Brandy and Robin keep up the good work. You are exceptional people. Thank you for everything you two have done. You truly deserve a raise and this good review. We won't be back because of Shane but sure am sorry for that. One bad apple spoils it. Thank you again though for all you've done.

I posted a review yesterday but cannot find it to update. I originally gave them 1 star b/c there were a lot of problems to start. So far they ARE working with me to fix the main problems that im having. They did put a new battery in the vehicle and fixed the oil check part under the hood. And they also put $10 of gas in the car since it was flat on empty. I'm taking it back to them so they can replace the window motor which I did have to purchase but I knew that up front. The power steering line seems to have a leak in it but again they are supposed to be checking that also when I bring it back to them this weekend. Rose the manager has been very nice about working with me on the upfront problems and I will update my review to 5 stars once I get the immediate problems fixed on Sat.

This place is horrible! The accounting reps sucks and there attitudes are beyond nasty. They lie and tell you certain things just to stuck you with a lemon car and collect your money! I wouldn't refer ANYONE to this place! Take your money else where because clearly they don't deserve it. They dress there cars up too look good but yet under the hood your run into multiple problems! My car cut off on my in the middle of the highway with my daughter in the backseat and they got upset because I brought it in distraught. I only had my car for 3 months at the most to say I went threw a years work worth of freaking problems! My tires would bust weekly! I never had a freaking spare nor a jack set! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! There cars are TRASH AND THEY WILL TRY AND STUCK YOU WITH IT!! And for the FYI THERE CARS DONT GO ON YOUR CREDIT THEY ARE A BY HERE PAY HERE!!!!

I have had the displeasure of dealing with this joke of a dealership for 2 years now and all it has been is one headache after the next! I have bad credit because of stupid mistakes I made in my past and this dealership takes full advantage of people like me! Cars are junk! Mine was leaking gallons of gas the day after I drove it off the lot, had transmission issues 2 weeks after that (my car stayed in the shop for 29 days! And of course they couldn't provide me with something else to drive, but they sure expected the payment for that month! !) The "warranty " is what made me choose this place but they made me pay $100.00 each time the car had a problem! That's just the issues with the vehicle. ..the account reps are even trashier than that! ! I have been cussed at, yelled at, and hung up on more than once! And the 1 time I couldn't make my payment on time was during hurricane Matthew this year, they disabled my vehicle 2 days after the storm hit! And I had MADE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR!! So with all that being said, please share this info with everyone that you can! I ended up paying $529.00 a month for 2 years (which is triple the book value of the car!!) Only to have to let them come get it because I just couldn't stand being taken advantage of any longer. ..DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS PLACE!!!

The people at Southern Auto Mart in Georgetown has had my car over 5 weeks and they didn t put my transmission in until the 5 week and they kept lying to me every week saying I was going to get my car back they working on it and they going to call me and let me know when I can come pick it up. When I call on the 5 week Tuesday they said they just put my car on the lift and putting the new transmission in and I called back On Thursday they told me they putting a new torque converter on the car and they already put the transmission in so I should get it back on Friday once they put the torque converter on or Saturday both of those days went by and I still haven t gotten my car. These people are Ripping me off and taking their time to give me back my car and when I m finish paying for my car they don t have to worry about me buying no more cars from them.

My car is always broke down and they don't want to fix it! It's in your contract that all the labor is free, if you make an appointment and buy the part they are suppose to put it on your vehicle. Once my car is paid off I am done with this lot. They treat like it's your fault they sell cars that are broke down and make promises they cannot keep. Save yourself the worst experience of a lifetime and go somewhere else! I'm warning you! It will drive ok for a week and then everything tears up. The first car I bought after 2 weeks of driving I smelled super glue so strong it took my breath away. They must have glued parts together just to get it off the lot! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM HERE!

No way does it take a part more than 3 weeks to come in. I only drove the car one time after purchasing it and it started acting up. They said they would fix it but never in my life have a car dealership take almost a month to revive a part. Never again and I will let everyone know this is a bad car dealership to buy from.

Don't buy from them, they sell lemon cars and won't repair them. The showroom (office) is dirty and slack. The staff is shady and are liars. The auto repair men don't know what their doing. Close this business down. Someone call the BBB...
