I ordered online and received the part today in a destroyed, re-sealed box. The UPS guy even commented on it. The box had been re-taped somewhere along the line and the box inside was badly beaten up also. The part inside was USED and was a NISSAN part. So, looks like someone returned it with the old part and Advance shipped it to me. So, I took the boxes and part to my local Advance Auto, spoke with the manager Mike Aiken there and he assured me that he would get me another one by the next day. He was extremely nice and understanding. Dealing with him was a GREAT experience! The online service however was not such a great experience. I have not had many bad experiences ordering online, this just happens to be one of them unfortunately This is a rating for the Advance Auto store on 1280 N Fraser St, Georgetown, SC.

Most of the every part I need is in stock,if not they order it free of charge. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Be careful of quotes on battery replacements at AAP. Stopped in store today to get a replacement car battery. Young lady at counter said they had several batteries in stock and selected one. When asked about turning in the old battery, was told I would get a $22 credit on my $239.99 purchase for the old one. She rang me up with a $22 (-) rebate plus a $22 (+) "core charge." Net effect is that the credit does not exist. In school, they called this a "bait and switch." AAP should just say they will recycle your battery for free and stop this nonsense about battery credits.Be truthful and forthright with your customers and they will be loyal.

Chris was very helpful , courteous, and efficient I needed a new battery and he had it installed in under 10 minutes and had me back on the road.

Worst experience in a part store yet The employees were too worried about talking to each other and would rather tell me that they don t have what I m looking for at all than checking there system because it says it was in stores online and also got a dirty look when asking about a product

The sales person led me straight to the item that I needed for my project. And he also showed me a comparable product for a lower price however, I stuck with the name brand because I know that it works and I am just not familiar with the store brand enough to trust it.

I needed a battery for my car the attendant was very polite and helpful they ran the scanner and determined it was the battery. She gave me options on what was available and installed it. Within an hour I was ready to go

I went in here thinking my battery or alternator was bad. Scott came out and looked at the positive battery terminal which was corroded and a little loose. He swapped it out for me. Cleaned up the terminal and tested the battery. I was good to go. He was so polite, helpful and pleasent. I'm normally a little skeptical of Advance Auto, but Scott made a believer of me. He's a rock star, and if he's not running that place, he should be.

Advance Auto will always get my business. We needed a place to host a car wash to help a local family in need and without hesitation they agreed to allow us to have a car wash in their parking lot. They were extremely nice and helpful during it. They allowed us to even use their extension cords and their power. All at no charge.

Traveling in the pouring rain, I stopped and had new wipers placed on my car. As I continued traveling , less than a mile, the drivers wiper came apart and snapped off. Unable to see, I held my head partially out the window until I saw Advance AutoParts in Georgetown. I pulled up, wet, penniless, carrying a dead cell phone and totally on the verge of tears. They were wonderful and staff went out of there way to help me, even replacing the drivers wiper for free. I have never been so grateful. Thank you Advance for your wonderful service and your generosity.

first time visiting here and i order a part. the part i needed they said it'll be here 2 days later. over a week later i have to call in and find out where's my part. they said its been here. no one called me. their excuse, they didn't have the correct number. im standing 3 feet from the person im telling my number to and he's putting in my number wrong AS im telling him my number. STUPIDITY with a side of lack of attention to detail.

Harris is the nicest and most helpful wmployee... every time I come he takes care to see that I get everything I need. And makes suggestions of things i need that are in conjunction with what i am buying!!

The guys are friendly but they tend to get backed up rather quickly helping customer and there are just not enough guys all the time! Knowledgeable staff and service with a smile!
