Wonderful and prompt experience from beginning to end. We had our 2007 gmc yukon transmission replaced. With that, an overall inspection was done with a few other things repaired. Sully was honest and dependable from beginning. He handled all our questions with detail and kindness. Definitely recommend.

If you're taking your transmission work anywhere besides here you're messing up. There is nothing negative I could say about these guys. Sully does a great job at keeping me up to date on the completion date and any work that needs to be completed. Truly an in and out process!

Carolina transmission has replaced 2 transmissions for me. They re a pleasure to work with and give very prompt service. I can t think of anywhere else I d rather take a vehicle with transmission issues.

Never have i had to deal with such professional individuals. I mean my car sat there after my wreck in Oct. No storage fees and they did such excellent work on my transmission and finessed the insurance company bc the other driver was at fault. Very courteous and prompt. They worked with me every step of the way. Highly recommended!!!!

You can really tell these guys take pride in what they do!! I brought my 17 Sierra 1500 in for a transmission rebuild. Not only did they keep the parts to repair what needed to be repaired for my truck but they also knew and understood that putting the same parts that are known to fail early isn t good quality so they made sure to put stronger and more dependable parts in that are proven to be better quality. On top of all that they got it in and out in 1 day!!! Couldn t have asked for a better value, it would have cost me roughly double the cost at a dealership! So needless to say yes I do STRONGLY recommend doing business with these guys!!Service: Transmission replacement

My elderly father and stepmom had their transmission rebuilt here. Vehicle a little over a year later, already has the exact same issue. Refuse to warranty their work - offered to fix it again for original price, with small discount.If a rebuilt transmission can t last one 7 mile trip into town a week over the last year - I HIGHLY recommend people take their business elsewhere.

David has always been efficient and quick with all of my Buicks repairs.When the car dealerships failed me, I reached out to Carolina Transmission and he replaced my torque converter with a few other things.I just went back today to have my exhaust fixed and ignition, and he had my car back within a few hours.I highly recommend Carolina Transmission because they care, do the best job possible, and are experts with car issues.

i never take these reviews serious but dang these guys took care of me! had my transmission in my '16 tahoe giving me a hard time, called up Sully in the front office, and all my worries were lifted. everything was thoroughly explained and i was even shown the broken parts from my tranny! i cant thank yall guys enough for the work yall did.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

They did more damage to my car and want fix it.The only problem with my car was transmission. Every time I called he lied to me and prove to him he lied said he sent my car to dodge charger dealership ship to fix my power steering pump he lied I called them.He needs to be shut down

I was estimated around $500 for labor after I paid $390 for parts. They fixed my car and charged me $830 for labor and keep my car for a month. DONT USE THEM PLEASEService: TransmissionService: Transmission

This is our second time going here to have our transmission fixed (2 different vehicles). They are absolutely amazing at what they do, very kind employees. They rebuilt my transmission in my explore a few years ago now they are rebuilding the one in our expedition. Give them a call or go there and talk to them about getting yours fixed to.

Do NOT take your vehicle to this Shop. They told me that they would give me a free estimate to see what was wrong with my vehicle. Every time I spoke with someone it was because I called. By the time they gave me an estimate on the work to be done they also gave me a bill for $500 without calling and asking me if I wanted them to check further behind their Free Estimates! . This place is a joke! Then they proceed to tell me that it s definitely something in the 3rd gear of the transmission. Just to take my vehicle else where and find out the issue had NOTHING to do with the transmission! Do NOT take your vehicle!

they had my best friends truck for well over a month,didn't bother calling him with any type of price quotes or options on fixing his truck, then he gets a call they rebuilt his tranmission, without permission, with a price tag of $1900 !!! for $200 more he could've had a brand new one which is the option he would've taken. its illegal to do the work without consent or given options!! SHAME ON YOU , NEVER AGAIN !!!

I am a very picky person, and try my best to investigate a business prior to using them. I also asked around in town for best options. I kept coming back to Carolina Transmission. When I originally called, they were super nice and helpful on the phone. When I arrived to the shop, I was impressed that he was working on the county patrol car. If they use him, he must be legit! His shop was also very neat and organized. This made me feel at ease.I dropped off my truck with full assurance that I would be taken care of. Long story short, it was the week of the 4th of July. They worked very quickly to help me out so I wouldn't have to keep a rental until the following Monday. $$$ saver! I was able to have my truck's transmission rebuilt for an affordable price.Dave told me to drop off my truck after 3 months at no charge so that they could just do a quick inspection and make sure everything is not leaking, etc. He also guarantees his rebuilds for 2 years!I'm a very satisfied customer and will be back for interval services (50,000 mile fluid and filter changes). Hopefully I won't have any other vehicles with transmission trouble... but if I do, I will use Dave and his shop!Thanks guys! Ya'll rock!

Worse place ever, they had my Honda Accord for 3 months, they even came to my house to get the car which I was go let my insurance company handle the tow but they said don't worry we'll get it,every time I would call them they would Give me a day to when it would be ready. Whenever I would call back to check on my car No one wouldn't answer the phone, so I call again the following week and they would Give me another day it would be ready still same thing no one would answer the phone ,so one day I finally went there to check on my car and it was still around back inside the fence ,they never even touched my car ,They wouldn't release my car because of towing fees and diagnosis fees and hadn't even touched my car and plus he said don't worry about having it towed we'll take care of it but I still had to pay, So I just had my insurance company to tow my car back home.

I delivered food to an employee here and even tho I missed the address and was a few minutes late and wasn't exactly sure where I was going because it was my first day delivering he was still super really nice with a great attitude and made me feel at ease even tho in a stressful situation!!!! I know I'll be visiting for car repairs soon and I'll be sure to leave a review on that prospective!!!!!

They do awsome work they rebuilt my transmission in a 96 s10 for 950 and have had no trouble out of it at all but if you do they will be more than happy to help you get your car fixed. They had my truck back on the road in 1 week and have a really good warranty I will recomind anyone with transmission problems to take there car there and let them look at it.

Sorry excuse for a transmission specialist!! Worked on my daughter's SUV 3 times, had it for almost three months total. Broke down on her every time he said it was fixed. $1650.00 in the hole, and still had to get it towed to a dealership and trade it. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!

They have rebuilt the transmissions for two of my vehicles. Their work is second to none and the customer service is the best that I have ever had at any shop. I recommend them to everyone!

Do not take your vehicle to this place for transmission work!!! He had my car for a total of 10 weeks and the transmission was still not fixed. I couldn't get anyone to answer my calls or return my messages. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this business to anyone!!!

Carolina Transmission did my transmission and they had it done the day they told me it'd be ready they didn't try to over charge me they gave me a price before they fixed and it was a very good price they will beat anyone around Gaffney on prices these guys also make sure you are 100% satisfied with their work!!!! If you need transmission work I highly recommend Carolina Transmission for all your Transmission needs and more!!!!!

Minus this last work it has been good. Im still trying to figure out how one part messed up when the area supposed to be worked on was not in proximity, costing me extra money for something that was not wrong. But Dave always works with me and customer service is always top notch.
