Steve KNOWS his stuff. He actually doubted the previous diagnosis of a bad alternator and wanted to test it himself he confirmed it was perfectly ok and didn t charge us a dime for his time. It s rare to see that kind of integrity, especially when it means less money for someone!

These guys are awesome!! My alternator was dying--was going to cost $171 just for the part. Took it to these guys and they replaced the brushes for $15. Very personable and showed me exactly what they were doing. Very impressed with these guys. Can't recommend them highly enough.

This is the 2nd time these guys did work for me and they are AMAZING! Brought my sons Jeep to them this afternoon and 2 hours later and at a price that was better than quite a few others it was ready to roll. They do more than starters and alternators and stand by their work!

Just want to thank the staff at Dean's for such excellent customer service and satisfaction. Today, Thursday, Oct.9, 2014, I was in an unusual situation with one car with a serious and costly to repair transmission problem, and my old 71 Chevy pickup with a starter problem. Dean's installed a new starter for me early this year and I called today to explain my problem and that it was my only mode of transportation at the moment and asked if they could work me in for a repair at a specific time so that I could wait on it. They asked me to come on in then and they would take care of it. I was there in 10 minutes and 40 minutes later they had me going. To my surprise, the starter was still under warranty and when I was ready to pay, I was told "no charge" and "we're sorry for the problem " Bendix was bad and had to be replaced, and his parting words were "God Bless You." They made my day.

Excellent service.I had a starter rebuilt for a 1995 Honda Civic in 2000. It was a fraction of the cost of a new one and had a 1 year warranty. It was still working great when I sold the car in 2009.

I have taken different cars there for different problems, over the years. They are the best around. Recently, Auto zone said my battery was fine on the old Honda Pilot. They said that my problem was my alternator. I went to Dean's and they were very honest. They said it is your battery. I went to Interstate battery and got a new battery. I haven't had a problem since.On another visit, my mom's Honda Accord had to have a new alternator. They did a great job. She had the car back on the next day. They will always be my first choice.

I took my 92 Madza Miata in for service.. Dean' has a strong reputation for excellent work and customer service... They have a very friendly staff... Will update this post after the repairs are made.Picked up my miata today... It needed a new starter... Repair was made and I'll return if I ever have a starter problem.....

I received very kind and helpful service here. My alternator was replaced for $500 less than another car repair service in the area quoted me and the work is definitely quality . I suggest you do your research.

Two other mechanics said that I needed a new starter. Took it to Dean's, was told it only needed a solenoid. Saved me over a hundred and forty dollars. Truck now runs fine. If it has to do with starting or charging your vehicle, this is the only place to take it.

Have been using them for months to rebuilt many different types of generators. Service is quick and have not had any alternators go bad. Worth every penny.

I recommend this company for any alternator / starter issues you may be having. I took a marine alternator to them and they bench tested it and fixed a minor problem. When I asked him how much I owed he said "no charge" because the alternator technically wasn't bad (yet they still did a little work). Honesty and Integrity is hard to find these days. They have won my business for life.
