**UPDATE** Kevin, Phil and the rest of the staff at Ft. Mill Auto Service were some of the most competent and honest people in the auto repair business. Knowledgeable and courteous, this is the only place I would take my vehicle to, for service. Repairs not only done right, but ones you can trust. That's hard to find anywhere nowadays.**UPDATE**It's a shame reading these recent reviews since the changes in ownership and staff. It took me a long time to find an honest, reputable shop with competent people you could trust, who cared more about their service to the customer than the almighty dollar. I will miss taking my car there along with some of the best staff in the business. After reading these recent reviews within the last 4 months, it's obvious things have changed and no longer the same. I will be taking my car elsewhere from here on out. My 5 star rating remains for Kevin, Phil, Andre and the others.

After being told by the dealership that my SUV needed a water pump replacement, at a cost that was astronomical even for the dealership to quote, I resigned to finding a trusted auto shop. I found Fort Mill Auto Service & Fleet through RepairPal and other research tools. From my first call to Fort Mill Auto Service, I was pleasantly relieved and impressed by the response to my concern/uneasiness around what the dealership had communicated to me, especially since I had not seen any signs of a water pump leak. A day was arranged for me to bring in my Land Rover. And when I arrived on that day, I was met with experienced employees who did not try to push anything unneeded on me. They were all informative and honest on the labor, parts and cost that would be involved should the water pump need to be replaced--and they were clear and extremely reasonable in the cost estimate.Fort Mill Auto Service & Fleet not only proved their knowledge in auto service but also their integrity in customer service. As it turned out, I did not need the water pump replaced. Everything was checked and found in good working order. Where other auto service companies, including dealerships, would have performed unnecessary work and handed me a large bill, Fort Mill Auto Service was honest and respectful of me as a customer--they did not even charge me for checking if the work needed to be done. I am glad I found this shop and because of the ease and peace of mind they offered me, they will be the only auto service shop that I will use for all my car maintenance/needs. From oil changes to detailed work, I recommend Fort Mill Auto Service. They definitely have my trust.

I ve been bringing my car here for the last year, Kevin and his guys have always been great to work with, they had reasonable prices, they were honest with you and you could trust them. Unfortunately I took my car in last week to find out Kevin is no longer there and the shop was bought out by another company. All I can say is I will no longer be using this shop anymore, the prices were outrageous and I simply do not trust these people with any of my vehicles. I ve seen Kevin and his guys for a year and every once in awhile they may find something which is normal but these guys after one oil change called me after with 4 issues that they could look into for me.. give me a break.. it s sad to see such a honest and hard working crew like Kevin and his guys leave.

I don't know unless this is the same location as the Speedee Oil change and Auto repairs place. In that case, I wrote a lengthy review about how much I love that place. That's all I know. They are amazing and always are there for me when i need any kind of help.

I did my routine checking and oil change recently at the Auto service shop in Fort Mill, Great service, friendly atmosphere, professional service., even they drop me at my house while the car were checked. After the service call me back and deliver in timely manner. I asked them to do an overall check for a long journey to New York, they checked all fluids, tire, breaks and keep up everything in good condition. Thank you.

Kevin and his team have provided not only the quality service I've required on my vehicles, they have done so fully and saved me several thousand dollars below "dealer" service prices too. I could not be more pleased. They have my full confidence, and my respect for providing me true value. Will I be back for my down the road service needs... simply... yes I will, gladly.

Every time I have visited they have impressed me with their honesty and sincere interest in my needs. I trust that they will recommend necessary repairs and advise me honestly about what service can wait, and for how long. The prices are fair, turnaround time is always good, and the work is done right the first time. I will bring my vehicles there first, whatever the issue.

They re awesome here! Phil in the office is very knowledgeable and cares about you and your car! Kevin the owner is always checking in via email and text after work is done . I ve never had a auto mechanic check to make sure my car is running good after work is done!As long as I live in the Charlotte/Fort Mill area I ll never go else where for auto help.Thank you Phil & Kevin!

This shop is awesome! They are trustworthy, quick, and friendly. Great website that's monitored. Easy appointments. They offer car drop-off. All things you want for the inevitable ill-timed car repair. I'll be taking my car back as things come up and have already recommended this place to my family. A++

I've been going to Fort Mill Auto for years. The owner Kevin is the is the absolute best. They are beyond fair and truly does there best to take care of all your cars needs. I highly recommend them and want take my car anywhere else. 5 star indeed. Chris R.

Andre and the crew bend over backwards to make car repair a positive experience! Always professional, trustworthy, and timely in their repairs. More than once I've dropped off my car at a moments notice, received a ride to work, and had repairs done by the time I'm ready to leave work. They are so well like that everyone from the owner down at our company have used them for years. Not that I look forward to car repairs, but at least I know that it will be done right and fairly!

Having moved from NY, it was very difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic. This is a great shop to get any work done to your vehicle! I live in the Ballantyne area and I drive here whenever I need anything. Chris, Steven and the the rest of the staff are extremely knowledgeable, reliable and fair. They are experts at what they do and do not hesitate to bring your business here! Hands down, Fort Mill Auto Service and Fleet is the best!

I can honestly say my experience here was outstanding! Kevin went above & beyond in terms of customer service. Their prices are very reasonable and work is completed quickly. As a woman I have had some pretty awful experiences with unscrupulous auto repair places, and I can say I'm delighted to have found Fort Mill Auto... they are a breath of fresh air!

First time at Fort Mill Auto Service and I am very pleased with the service. My brake repair was done quickly and the cost was down to the penny based on our phone quote. Phil, the service manager, was friendly and honest. Will be back for future service.

Fort Mill Auto Service and Fleet offers great service and prices! The employees helped me pick new tires and gave me a great recommendation for dependable tires at a reasonable price. I also get my oil changed there, and appreciate the professional service.

I originally came here because my old mechanic insisted I needed new brake shoes but couldn't fit me into the schedule. These guys turned me away because my brake shoes were perfectly fine and the other guys were trying to rip me off. Talk about honest! They could have taken my money and I would have been none the wiser. I've come here for everything ever since and they are always so friendly, fairly priced, and efficient. I can't recommend these guys enough!

These guys have always treated me with respect and helped me get through college with my used car. I really appreciate the wonderful service they have provided and at an affordable price. They even offered to drive me home so I didn't have the wait around. At times, they offered to let me borrow a car to drive home so long as I put gas in the car. If you're having problems with your vehicle, give them a call. You won't regret it!

After careful research I decided on Ft. Mill Auto Service. Absolutely first class service! They researched my vehicle problems, explained what needed to be done, went over cost and kept me informed. Professional, courteous, timely and very reasonably priced. They can do it all. Extremely satisfied and I encourage anyone with vehicle problems to allow this team to do your repairs.

Just got my car back from my 90k mile maintenance for my 2013 Nissan Altima (because I was happy with my 60k mile maintenance) and my car drives the best I ever remember. Honest service, as in they don't recommend unnecessary services and their prices are reasonable. They even let me use a loaner car while service was being done so there was no dent in my work schedule. Compared to the other place I normally have my car serviced, this place is another 15 minutes further from home but it's totally worth driving the distance, as I expect to take my car to this place for future work.

Kevin runs an amazing, trustworthy shop. I'm always comfortable taking even my 2014 and 2016 cars, regardless of what needs to be done. Quick service, personable, and reliable! I have been and will continue to be a customer.

Really appreciate these guys taking a look at a potential used car I was looking to purchase. First off, they spent more time reviewing the car than they billed me for, and Kevin also did some extra research on what similar cars where going for at wholesale. Honest and helpful shop from my two experiences so far.

I felt comfortable bringing my car to kevin and his techs. They work hard and efficient. My car runs great now. Im completely satisfied with the service and confident of driving without the fear of my car breaking down. Definately recommend them for anyone who is looking for great service!

I took a newly acquired 2006 Chrysler Sebring convertible in to Kevin and the crew at Fort Mill Auto Service & Fleet to check the battery. On that vehicle you have to remove the front left wheel to access the battery so I wanted to get a new one before the old one failed. They were fast, friendly and the price was very reasonable for a 5 year Interstate battery and the necessary labor to install it. Kevin even put my new-to-me vehicle up on the lift and walked me through his inspection of the overall condition and potential trouble spots. I'm sold - I'll be back to see them whenever I need service.

Phil and the guys do great work at an honest and fair price. Very impressed with the daily updates and communication. Would highly recommend taking your vehicle there if you are looking for a hassle free experience and great service.

I have had a couple of repairs done recently at Fort Mill Auto Service & Fleet. The quality of service and repair is excellent. Staff and owner very professional with repairs thoroughly diagnosed, explained and completed at reasonable cost and time. I highly recommend them.

This is the only legitimate car repair facility I have found in North and South Carolina that does excellent work at a very reasonable price.They also understand that you have to have your car back ASAP, no sitting there for a week before they look at it. They just get the job done with no problems.Keith L

On our 1500 mile travel from FL to MA our tire pressure indicator came on. I googled for 'tire centers near me' and it directed us to these guys. They checked and filled all of our tires and refused our offer of payment. Southern hospitality at its finest!

Went here to have my truck evaluated after seeing an oil leak. I was told that the rear seal was causing the leak and needed to be replaced, which was the case. However, was also told that I had four other leaks that needed to be serviced, which was NOT truth as verified by the dealership of my vehicles brand. Had the leaking rear seal serviced elsewhere and sure enough, that was the only problem. I find this to dishonest from Fort Mill Auto and Fleet. Didn t know we were still walking into auto shops, being up sold this way in the 21st century. Also, after the overstated evaluation of my truck, I was promised a call to at least give me an estimate for the five leak repair and never heard from anyone about that either. Maybe my experience is an isolated one and I d hope so. But a disappointing one for sure.

I've taken both of my vehicles to the shop, and both times I've been extremely pleased with their service. They're fast, courteous, and has done quality work. I'll be coming here again for all my auto maintenance needs.
